I was very impressed by the responsiveness and flexibility of Shona from Space@61when I was organising my event and the space itself was adaptable, well-equipped and provided a warm and welcoming backdrop for the talk I was giving. I would definitely use this venue again. I have also been very impressed by the First Friday Networking meetings at Space@61 that have introduced me to inspiring new ideas and a new 'family' of local businesses.

I attended a networking event, for the Self Employed Club, on Friday January 10th, and I am so glad I did. The things that made this a success were
1. The people I met were both interesting and had me storing their skills in my mental rollerdex.
2. The venue is clean, bright and comfortable, I would totally have a private function here.
3. Shona is a lovely and welcoming host
4. The FOOD, Oh my, the food was outstanding and it was with zero regrets that I wolfed down that humous, even though I was going straight to train clients afterwards #lovegarlic.
I am really looking forward to future events and to see how things open up through joining this merry band of Self Employed individuals.

SpaceAT61 is a fantastic place for small businesses wishing to take advantage of the fantastic networking sessions held on a regular basis. It's multi functional, I used it today for a photographic shoot for my small business but it also works well as a venue for pop up supper clubs, children's parties & exhibitions. Highly recommend it.

I regularly attend the monthly networking event, First Fridays at Space at 61, which is run by the venue. This is an amazing supportive event for local small businesses and it gives us the chance to not only meet other local business owners, but learn a key skill for our businesses which is provided by the guests invited to speak at the event. First Fridays has been invaluable to growing and developing my Massage business. It is a must if you are looking for support and want to grow your business.

I recently came to a networking session for local small business owners here. It's a fantastic space for this - very bright and spacious which created a relaxed and informal atmosphere. It was attended by a really interesting mix of people and I made some great connections. The lunch included was delicious and they also have a different guest speaker every month.

Went to my first First Friday Networking event and will definetly be back again. There's always a different theme and speaker, and around 30 other small businesses. It was great to connect with others locally in an informal setting. And light lunch was offered as well which i was not expecting!

Space at 61 is a brilliant local event venue that hosts supper clubs, workshops, networking meetings, parties, yoga, anything really! Shona who runs the space is incredibly friendly and will go out of her way to make your event work fabulously well! I’ve hired Space at 61 to do mini baby & child photography sessions. The space is a perfect size, great lighting, reasonably priced and plenty of parking outside. The owner, Shona, is great, really helpful, easy to communicate with, reliable and very quick to respond to emails. I have also been to a couple of supper clubs there which were fab and well organised. Highly recommend hiring Space at 61 for your event.

Great venue and fantastic host! Shona runs a brilliant Friday networking group, which I enjoy attending. It's a place where you can meet and chat to other local businesses and they have some great speakers on a Friday too. Shona has managed to connect local people together, showing support for one another. Shona has created a community! She's a star!

I hosted my daughters 1st birthday party and the space was perfect. The parking great, location nice and quiet and away from the hustle. Only a 15mins drive from Streatham.
The owners were very friendly and down to earth. All in all great space. Thanks Shona.

Space at 61 is a dream come true! for me honestly, I really needed a space where I could be creative with food and create unique, luxurious experiences for guests and it’s exactly that space! I feel free. Shona (Landlord) is absolutely amazing! she understands micro businesses/start ups and the challenges we face keeping on top of everything, that really, really helps. Another, incredible feature of Space at 61 is that it comes with a network of sociable, friendly business owners who are willing to support eachother. That’s something I rarely see even in office work spaces. I’m used to networking that often feels like your on an episode of Dragon’s Den but here at Space at 61 I feel that everyone just wants to help eachother. For me it’s definitely an investment, it’s more of a business incubator.

Fabulous venue for our daughter’s 4th birthday! Great space with flexibility and plenty of space for party games. Well equipped for small children with high chairs, changing tables, toys, plastic plates and cups etc. Shona does a great children’s party tea and is very accomodating. Highly recommend!!

Space at 61 was perfect for the hen party I was organising. Loads of space for games and a dinner and a fully equipped kitchen for the chefs we hired to prepare the food! We could also get in early in the morning to set up. Shona was amazing at coming back to e-mails and showing us around, so I would highly recommend using this space for your event.

Lovely space and amazing owner!
I hosted my son’s first birthday party at SpaceAt61 yesterday. The space is lovely for parties with a good mix of adults and toddlers because there is loads of space for adults to mingle in the front part of the room, and a cute play area with toys and beanbags for the little ones at the back. There are also changing facility and high chairs for younger infants.
The bar/counter was a perfect area to keep drinks accessible and cool for my guests. The long counter gave me plenty of space to lay out buffet food. The space hire also comes with a lots of serving plates and cutlery, so I didn’t really need disposable ones.
The owner, Shona, is the loveliest! She was responsive and helpful from the very beginning. On the day of the event, she was such a great help in getting things ready for the party. She changed the room setup to accommodate my need, warmed up the buffet food, and arranged the food very nicely on the counter. I don’t think I would be able to get things ready before the party started without her!
I will definitely recommend Shona’s space for parents who want a party space not only for parent friends, but also other friends who are not coming with children.

I’ve been to a few events at Space 61. It’s a lovely venue, cosy and intimate. It’s got a very spacious feel, it’s bright and airy with blond wood furniture. Shona is a fabulous host, nothing is too much trouble, she’s super kind & efficient. With Space 61, Shona is creating a community hub with a great vibe.

I've worked with Shona on a number of occasions, and have booked Space@61 for my plantbased events. The space is really lovely and can be set up for smaller and larger groups easily. The kitchen space is perfect for preparing food, and the light is great for taking photos. Shona is a true delight to work with - she's flexible, creative and passionate about supporting community initiatives. Space@61 is such a unique and valuable resource, a real gem on Cheltenham Road.
