Although in each cars you offer finance, this is the third time I wasted my time on your website. For better customer service and sales, it could be useful to remove the finance option for older cars as your company can't proceed to finance. You must state clear that you only provide finance to vehicles from 2013 and less than 100K miles.

I bought a used car from an AA Cars dealer - the car is great but the heating was faulty and the dealer took a long time to acknowledge the issue let alone sort it for me. The dealer agreed for my local garage to diagnose the issue but a quick fix wasn't possible as it was a diagnostics issue. It was winter and I eventually paid my local garage to fix it and the dealer was refusing to respond to my request to settle the (relatively small) bill. After raising with the AA in what was a simple mediation process the AA got the dealer to agree to pay the garage within 24 hours. Fantastic service from Karen Mackay at the AA, thanks.

I found my car still being advertised on the AA website by a dealer who sold it to me 7 weeks ago. I paid £36500 for the car which was faulty. The dealer claimed to have registered the car in my name and taxed it on my behalf. He hadn't.
No v5 was received from the DVLA and it turns out I was driving on the previous owners road tax. The same dealer tried to sell the car remotely to my son in law last week. I have now reported this to the AA twice in order to prevent anyone else getting caught. These reports have been ignored and this dealer is still advertising the car. I have the car albeit without any documents.

Paid for an AA car inspection, they missed 5 issues with the car, when I complained they were quite rude and basically made out I lied and these faults were not on the car at the time of inspection, despite the garage confirming they were. After involving the ombudsman and getting a partial refund I cancelled my membership and will never deal with them again. There are other companies with better service for less.
** In response to the reply below: yes I’m satisfied this is resolved, the AA paid out for the parts to fix one out of 5 of the issues. Although the part cost a lot less than the inspection. But the part I’m most satisfied with was cancelling my membership and not dealing with AA again. **

DO NOT SIGN UP TO AA CARS!! THEY ARE NOT THE AA!! THEY ARE A COMPANY CALLED USED CAR SITES LIMITED
An employee from Used Car Sites Ltd called LYNNE WHYMAN came to
our office for a meeting on 29/4/19
During this meeting she conned us into believing that we were
signing up with the AA. She talked about AA warranties and how
many hits per month the AA get on their website etc. She got us to
sign a contract that day.
Our account went live on 28/5/19
Two payments were made on our account for £342 each so £684 in
total.
It wasn't until the two payments had gone out that we noticed the
direct debit payments were set up to a company called 'Used Car
Sites LTD'
We cancelled our direct debit immediately. We contacted the AA who
informed us that Used Car Sites Ltd were not the AA and the
products and services they are selling are worthless.
They are now trying to claim £4052.52 from us from the county court
HONESTLY IF YOU VALUE YOUR BUSINESS DO NOT SIGN UP TO THIS PRODUCT.

AA dealers promise - 'You're in safe hands' -
I think this is a very dangerous statement for car buyers, as it has been for us.
The thing that weighed in buying a car at Phoenix Car Care was the dealers promise as we thought the dealer does abide to some standards. How false was this premise.
As lovely as the AA cars customer service, they can pretty much do the same as you - ring the dealership and ask pretty please can they return the car.
But this dealer is arrogant, not even picking up the phone, ignoring emails and texts.
It's week three now since we reported the issue and two.more faults have been found in the car since and we aren't getting anywhere with the AA as the dealer is ignoring all of us.
Bottom line - The AA dealer promise is not a good promise and does not guarantee anything! Beware!
Update - they didn't resolve the issue and we were left on our own to fight the dealer.
AA dealer's promise is really worth nothing!

Dishonest adviser's, complete liers. Chris from AA told me I had been accepted but the car I wanted was sold, so I gave car details of another car, chloe told me the lender will only do a 60 month term. Try to find a newer car., I found out the first car wasn't sold they didnt even contact to dealer, Chris you are a lier. Second car I got for 36months term with the same lender that chloe told me only done 60 month term, I used a different broker I used AUF who got me the car at the price I wanted, AA advisors lie to get more commission from the lender, dont use them for car finance contact AUF

Still currently waiting in 30 degree heat with no shade on the side of the motorway. We called and said our location (M1 South near London) and was logged, suddenly on the app within 5 minutes our location somehow changed to say we are in Nottingham and all our details changed to that location! We’ve tried calling to rectify this unusual change but the person on the other end of the phone could not understand why the location has changed. Not at all impressed, now the waiting time is over an hour! Waiting in the heat currently dehydrated with no shade as we have drank all our drinks already!
Definitely do not recommend The AA!

Another way of making money of dealers by promising things that don't even happen. CAR DEALERS: Do not be fooled by signing up with them as it's only a waste of money. You won't get more customers because of their brand like they say you would. Their service is very bad. All dealers signed up with with them only hoping for more customers becouse of them but there is no difference at all. There are MANY good and trustworthy dealers out there without having this AA dealer promise as all dealers provide that service. AA are good for breakdown covers and warranties. Apart from that they should leave advertising dealers cars to Autotrader and other websites as all their claims are just another way of making money. Very bad for a well known brand !!!

Terrible use of a Great Brand Name, you will not get any extra leads, warranty and breakdown cover is not worth the paper written on, it is only used to get customer information and to up sell, 12 month tied in with 3 months notice, promised complete differnt term when Raj Josen turned up to our place

We have used AA CARS for the past few years, after trying most other selling tools, including eBay, Motors, CarGurus etc, none of which proved successful for us! We wanted a Big brand name, to work with us to improve sales, and were recommend to try AA CARS? We had a personal Manager form the start. He is available immediately for any website problems or changes, and the service is second to none! I cannot recommend them enough!
