Tomomi has been my hairstylist for many years and I have recommended her to all my friends and colleagues so she's soon become the hairstylist of at least 8 people I know. Tomomi is a fantastic hairstylist, not only because of her extremely precise and constantly updated technique, but also because of the care and sensibility she puts in what she does. Everything with Tomomi is tailor-made - she listens, plays with your hair and takes her time to assess what would work best with your looks and in the end delivers exactly what you want and what is right for you. She is also very tactful and has a good sense of humour. I'd like to stress that I'm a fussy person and usually don't write reviews, but Tomomi really deserves one :)

This is my first visit at Eton Crop and I am quite disappointed after my haircut. I decided to have a haircut at Eton Crop is because of the excellent reviews on Google and Yelp. I don't agree with the reviews after my visit. The stylist who cut my hair is very friendly and very polite and he tries his best to listen to you. However, sometimes I felt that he doesn't understand what I was saying/what I wanted due not speaking the best English. The haircut was okay, it was not the best one I had, but it wasn't the worst. I am not too impressed with my fringe.
I was looking forward to the little head massage during shampoo, as people were raving about it. It's disappointed that there was no massaging at all and it was just a simple 2 min basic wash with shampoo and rinse off. (no conditioning) There was also no 2nd hair wash after cutting. Some people mentioned about sketches of how they cut and style your hair for future reference and opening personal file, they either forgot this or scrap this. Eton Crop is definitely not the best Japanese Hair salon.

Eton Crop was recommended to me by a friend so I decided to give it a go. I had bad experiences in the past here in London and I can now say that I have finally found my hairdresser! I’ve been going to Eton Crop since 2007 and I don’t let anybody else touch my hair. I always get my haircut and colour done by Taiki who is extremely patient and spot on. He is very good at understanding my hair and what I look for in my hair styling.
Everybody working there are super friendly and always very welcoming even when I decide to book an appointment last minute.
My sister travels all the way to London to see Taiki too! We are addicted to Eton Crop.

Extremely disappointed in this place. I had heard amazing reviews about Eton Crop, so I was really looking forward to visiting. However, the Japanese receptionist (the young Japanese man with bright orange hair) was unbelievably rude despite my politeness. I was very turned off by this encounter.

Our favourite hairdresser for many years now. Once you meet Taiki you dont want anyone else to cut your hair. My friends and their teenage kids also got hooked. Taiki is a real artist and a perfectionist, but also has really creative and wonderful personality. I cannot recommend anyone more.

Taiki Ogawa has established a fine salon at Eton Crop in London.
I came to Eton Crop on recommendation while visiting London from Australia and was blown away by Taiki's skill and artistry. In the 3 weeks since I've never had so many compliments on the hair style he did for me. I only wish I could go back again, but I'm now back in Australia.
If you live in or near London, or you're visiting London from elsewhere, you really should book an appointment at Eton Crop.

I just had a haircut and i have to say i am extremely happy and satisfied with the result.
Make sure you ask for Tomomi Naito. She will listen and understand anything you want to do to your hair. They're extremely polite people and trustworthy.
Since I moved to london, i've been to so many hairdressers, from the unknown to the well known and always left me with a massive disappointment. But trust me on this one, eton crop's Tomomi is the best.
