Had a major issue with a product received but with fast acting Karma was brilliant at sorting the issue and managed to get it resolved and sending out a new product! In the space of 10 minutes now I have an email for delivery the next day! Couldn't of asked for any better! Excellent customer service thank you so much Karma you saved my plants and my aquarium health!. The ordering was also fast and simple and easy to use and trusted service also with added bonus of rewards point scheme. I'll be a loyal customer here for all my aqautic products.

We went in to find out about setting up our own fishpond. The guys were so helpful and patient. They explained everything about each product and didn't try to persuade us to go for the dearest option. Fabulous customer service. We came out with exactly what we needed and with change in my purse. Oh and we bought a treat for our beardy Buddy.

Hello, I had an issue with a delivery (which was not their fault) and I contacted Swell and Emily dealt with the issue straight away, asked me a couple of questions and that was it, a couple of days later issue resolved to my satisfaction. She was very helpful, polite and nothing seemed to be to much for her to resolve the issue, I can only say thank you very much for your help and I would recommend Swell as a caring company, and I will use them all the time from now on. Absolutely brilliant! Last November I bought three yellow belly toads from Swell. They are going strong and I love them. I am contemplating getting some fire bellies from them also. I had bought locally before and they never lasted even though I care for them exactly the same. Other sellers- I have been ordering food from other sellers who offer free delivery. But you get what you pay for. I have been receiving a lot of dead food. They claim that they are just still because they are cold. They never woke up when placed in a warm (but not too hot) room. Swell- Where as with Swell live food arrived today warm and alive. They had a good bit of paper as insulation and an extra little safety blanket Swell put a hand warmer in the box. Couldn't have wished for better for my little toad people.

I do not work for, nor am I associated with Swell Reptile, that said:- through my interactions and observations of Swell Reptiles I have noted a real passion and care for what they do, whilst also being a big business, capable of meeting demand. The fact is and it appears to be quite clear that Swell is rooted in small business passion and philosophy ensconced in Hobby-centric values and philosophies, which have clearly translated in to the large efficient and professional company it is today. This doesn't often happen, as all too often these small passionate refuges we put our trust in grow - they lose a touch of their soul; Swell appears to have maintained both and I think that's a special thing. Their staff have always responded to be kindly and every purchase i've made has been swift delivered in excellent condition and with zero issues, perhaps that's the only issue i might have - I have no idea what it's like to have an issue with them so I have no idea how they would handle it, but something tells me it wouldn't be an stressful. I'm a Fan and they don't disappoint with stock nor their website, which provides a platform to both research and ensure you're getting the best equipment for your needs at an affordable price; which again I've noticed their markup is the lowest there is on the internet when it comes to internet-based UK exotic pet equipment and supplies

Swell uk website had a nice layout easy to navigate and plenty of options. Their range of goods is excellent with plenty of products to choose from. Unfortunately I have not been able to purchase anything from here due to the items I was wishing to purchase being out of stock which I would not blame the seller as current world situations I know lots of retailers are facing supplier issues at this time. But as I said above plenty or products to choose from, Website is nicely laid out and easy to navigate and pricing is not to bad either give them ago ????

Have purchased a few items from them before, buying smaller items are fine but recently have had terrible service buying a new viv. After already having delays with delivery as no one seemed to have tracking information or have any idea what was in stock, it arrive with a broken glass door, the replacement arrive broken also a few days later. I was then told that they would prefer to refund us rather than sending us what we had purchased.this was annoying as I now have to find a new viv in the next couple of days from someone else as I was suppose to pick my new pet up days ago. As we purchased a kit and they only refunded the viv and they decided to remove the discount we received from the kit off the refund amount so the amount refunded wasn't even enough to purchase the viv on their website. Seems odd that I would lose the discount and pay full price for the other items while you make a small profit on an item I never received but at least I know this is the policy now. There are plenty of other reptile suppliers I can use, and have now found it cheaper elsewhere, shame I had to learn this the hard way as I am out money, wasted loads of time dealing with their supplier issues and had to use some holiday at work to make sure I was in for delivery of 2 useless vivs.

The items that do arrive are good items, ordered a crested gecko set up but rain system was missed from the order, and the lamp stand was wholly inadequate given the height of the paludarium is a metre and the stand is 60cm.... The rain system arrived weeks later after a to anf fro on email. Giving them a second chance I ordered some leaf matter and some additional clean up crew.. Leafs arrive no sign of the clean up crew... Seems to be a common occurance of part shipped orders and forget about the unshipped items... Really disappointing

DO NOT BUY FROZEN FROM SWELL!!! Terrible service. Ordered frozen pinkies with £9.99 delivery. I was out when they arrived but instead on leaving them the courier took them back to the depot. Had to arrange redelivery for the following day, all thawed and had to be binned. Absolutely. No help from customer services. The website states dispatch next day, delivery note and confirmation email states within 3 days. Couldn't stay in for 3 days due to work. Will never use Swell again. Shop at a local reptile shop who actually care about their customers.

I spent £75 on a cracked fish tank. The emails support was a joke! Trying to have a conversation but only receiving one reply every 24 hours and then I get asked why have I left it so long too report?!!?!?? When I eventually got to speak to someone competent enough to help they basically said the manufacture doesn’t believe you and it’s your fault..... so now I’m stuck with a £75 aquarium I can’t use, return or get a refund.

Revisiting my review and now changed from 1 star to 4 stars. The last order i put was delivered within 4 days and with no issues. Seems like they are getting better. Or probably everything was in stock. May be Its bad when you have an issue with order and needs assistance. Previous Review: Terrible service, last time i have ordered something from them. 3 weeks on, nothing received.. Called customer service, they know nothing. There is no escalation either. No one can tell why my order got delayed. Absolute waste
