The practice are most attentive and caring, and really went out of their way to register and accommodate Bella so quickly. I was recommended to this particular veterinary surgeon, Graham, by my neighbour and her daughter who both have pets registered at the surgery. I feel Bella is in such safe hands under Graham’s excellent expertise and I can honestly highly recommend this practice.

We always bring our cats here. Last weekend our cat was rather poorly and she was seen at short notice. Thankfully the vet diagnosed her problem and she received appropriate treatment, which made her far more comfortable. Highly recommend.

In March 2020 my puppy was “a wonderful temperament” last week, and in less than 5 mins, he was deemed untreatable. This shocking diagnosis was given with no temperature being taken and because he didn’t like the vet being near him bottom.
The vet and veterinary nurse then raised their voices out of the window at my partner, awful customer service.
4 vets with goodness knows how many years of qualifications and they spent less than 5 mins calming a nervous puppy only to label him ‘untreatable’.
Awful and unprofessional service.

Very bad experience with this practice, I have a 1 year old dog that they were unable to handle for even the simplest procedures, but still asked for full consultation fees. Rude and unkind reception staff, I would not recommend- find another vet if you have a puppy.

Excellent!!!! All of the staff are so friendly and helpful. My dog isn't friendly towards strangers but the staff at Medivet have been so accommodating with that, especially during the Covid lockdown period where we can't accompany him on appointments. I'd highly recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a Vet

They seem to be a good enough vet but be warned, the prices are high and, thanks to research, we know they loaded the cost of the medications to nearly double the retail price. They didn't inform us clearly in advance of what the costings were and just slapped us with a bill some days after the treatment finished (2 visits). This is not the way elderly and disabled people are expecting to be treated when on a tight budget. We went to Medivet (Afrivet) because this was for a rescue dog and he had been seen by them when he was first picked up by the rescue so we thought we would continue there as they knew his history. We don't mind paying for the care of our animals but we do feel pretty ripped off. Over the years we have used Natterjacks, Spring Corner, Vets4Pets and the PDSA and had excellent care from all of them at much more affordable rates so we won't be going back.

Was such a pleasure to go to a vets where they are so passionate about animals. Our dog went in to be neutered and the fuss that was made of him was incredible. It was so lovely to see a vet who was so interested in our pet. When we went back for his checkup after the surgery Lester couldn't wait to get back in and I was literally dragged in to the reception! Think that says it all really!!

Graham is an amazing surgeon .I was seriously stunned at my dogs lack of any surgical signs. Looked like 2 scratches on her tummy .He used skin glue so no cone/buster collar needed. In over 40years I've never seen such a wonder. The nurses and staff are understanding and kind in a comfy home like surrounding. Brilliant vets.I 100% recommend this vets. Though I always feel like a nuisance calling ,I always get an excellent service.

No complaints at all about this practice. The care they give is genuine.
However I am very sad to learn that they have been taken over by Medivet. I thought things weren't the same. May consider changing vets now as the reviews of medivet aren't good ????????????
