Good value exchanges. Managed to trade 2 Nintendo switch games and buy 2 others for £12 to pay. Sale prices are not the cheapest but if you've got something to trade CEX is good value

Good selection of secondhand games and DVDs. Trade in prices aren't amazing but the credit notes last for 1000 years! Can't say much for the clientèle, as is the case for most of these places, but worth a visit when they are quiet.

You can buy Cheap DVDs some at 50p. You can take other products to the store for them to buy there such as phones, laptops and tablets. Great place to visit for bargains.

Clean and well-lit. Freindly, polite and well-dressed staff. Great displays with clean game cases, roomy floor layout. Amazing selection of new & classic stock and with free parking nearby! Probably my new favourite CEX!

Great friendly staff every time and couldn’t fault the service. Had an issue with a joycon on the Nintendo switch I bought and the staff were really helpful and resolved the issue quickly. Brilliant. Would recommend to everyone.

They have good prices on there games, however when trading a game you bought for $30 traded in for $4 then put on sale as a "high quality" videogame for $35 it quite irritating, I understand you have to make a profit but that is just ridiculous

I have to say it's the first time I've taken my children here to actually sell a large amount of software and gaming stuff and I can honestly say I was quietly surprised.
They were completely open and honest and offered advice on everything they wanted to sell and eventually gave them a very fair price.
We were served by a lovely young lady who appeared very knowledgeable if there wasn't negatives I think they offer to little on the cash side compared to install vouchers

They have a variety of games from ps3, ps4, Xbox classic, Xbox 360 and Xbox One, Nintendo games, 50p films, family-friendly and children films, other films, tv-series and box sets, computer bits, 2nd hand consoles, phones etc, you can also sell it all in there as well as long as your 18+ and have a cex card if not they'll give you one and you'll need proof of ID to do it.

Wouldnt take a phone I wanted to trade because the battery hasn't been put back in properly after checking imei number.
Didn't take a couple of other phones with dubious faults and sells me a faulty phone with broken speaker. Poor service

I am only giving this place 1 Star because it’s not possible to give them zero, and that’s what they deserve. Not only does this place charge MORE for second hand items, than you can get them NEW online, one member of staff told me that Mario Kart was £50 online which is lie. I saw it for £37 new and they were selling for £38 second hand. I told them this and there response was to shrug their shoulders and walk away. They also sold me a Wii game which did not work. I then had an argument, trying to get a refund as they wanted to give me store credit. It wasn’t until the manager came along that it sorted and said it was fine to give me a refund. So they don’t even bother to train their staff probably. I am never shopping with these bunch of rip off merchants ever again!

Such a warm and welcoming store, the team in here are always smiling and laughing with customers and the lad in charge really helped me pick the right laptop for me.
