Me and my fiancé came to do our ring making workshop with Rosalyn and I cannot recommend it enough. Working on my own ring through all the various stages under Rosalyn's watchful eye was a great experience and one that I will treasure. One thing that struck me most as I was going through the final stages of adding facets to my ring was that I'm adding more of myself into the ring that I'll wear for the rest of my life and that a standard ring (perhaps) doesn't quite have that same level of attachment.
I cannot recommend this experience enough for anyone considering it, I didn't really know what I wanted on the first consultation but with some guidance and a while lot of patience on Rosalyn's part, I am so happy with my ring. All this and this is before I mention the exquisite work that was done to create a band for my fiancée's ring to shape around her slightly awkward shaped engagement rin. Rosalyn's expertise in crafting gold really came to the fore during this process. Truly professional and super friendly and supportive from start to finish. From both of us thank you Rosalyn

I contacted Roz to create a bespoke wedding band to match in with my engagement ring. I was a little nervous communicating entirely via email (due to the pandemic) but Roz put me to ease immediately. She has such a wonderful vision and I knew early on I could trust her. Roz kept me updated with the progress which I loved, it made me feel part of the journey. I saw a piece of jewellery Roz recycled for a friend into a pendant and I absolutely loved it. I contacted Roz as I had sentimental rings that needed a new lease of life. Roz spent a significant amount of time with me during my first consultation so she could understanding what I wanted, who the jewellery was for and then work her magic to create a beautiful piece. Within 24 hours Roz replied to my initial enquiry, and within a week the designs were drawn up and it was all booked in. Roz just knew exactly what I wanted from my very poor description and the finished product is even better than I imagined.
As well as being so nice, and utterly professional, Roz's prices are so reasonable for a unique, handmade piece of jewellery.

We contacted Roz in hope of making some simple wedding rings with pretty short notice before our planned wedding day. Due to the ongoing restrictions we did the consultations before the workshop remotely and they inspired us to opt for some more ambitious designs. In the end (and with lots of hard work by Roz) we ended up making two very special rings in matching but contrasting design. I went to one of Roz’s silver bangle workshops some time ago and had such a lovely time and came away with a bangle I adore. I was given some money for my 40th birthday and decided to treat myself to a special piece of jewellery (a ring).Roz was brilliant at teasing my dreams out of my brain and into a design- she found that most beautiful stone and made the most fantastic ring for me to treasure. One year later (this September) I decided after my 41st birthday that I’d treat myself to a matching pendant, using the rest of the gorgeous stone Roz found for the ring. I probably can’t keep on with having a bespoke piece of jewellery made for me by Roz each year but if I could, I would! Roz is exceptionally talented and professional and I cannot recommend her more highly.

Roz was amazing,
She managed to melt down my late grandads yellow gold ring and put it under my new white gold ring, which will be given to me on my wedding day. My grandads ring had a black stone on which Roz managed to make in to a pendant for me so no material was wasted.
It is with all my heart that I say thank you to Roz and making my imagination come to life.

Working with Roz to make our wedding rings has been one of the best experiences of our wedding preparations. We made our wedding rings from recycled jewellery and also gifts for the bridesmaids, best man and our fathers and a necklace for my wedding day. We came to Roz having been gifted vouchers from my parents - my engagement ring is quite a unique shape and we knew we'd need a ring designed regardless. I was very hesitant before we met, as I thought that if we made our rings, they wouldn't look very good at all. I couldn't have been more wrong..! From the start, Roz spent a lot of time with us going over our concerns and guiding us with her wealth of experience as to what would & wouldn't be possible - we also didn't really know yet what we wanted, and Roz was incredibly patient and helpful by showing us samples both physically and with photos. It was a difficult process to match the exact profile of my engagement ring, but it was very important to me they look like a set. Roz was amazing, very honest and her technical knowledge is the key element here - she advised me to leave the silver ring larger so that we wouldn't lose the tight wishbone shape through the usual hammering (to stretch the size after being cast). We were also able to leave options open for the future - if I want to add stones, engravings or texture, it's still possible. We worked in silver which took a lot of nerves away before the platinum versions were cast - and Roz was there every step of the way, making sure I didn't ruin anything but still managing to let me truly make the ring by myself as much as possible - she is very, very good at this. Trust her! We are so very excited to wear our rings, and would recommend this experience to anyone. Thank you so much Roz.

Making our wedding rings with Roz has been such a special experience!
We struggled to find rings we loved and felt a strong connection to on the high street so we decided to invesitgate bespoke options - making our own rings seemed like the perfect way to do this. We got in contact with Roz with about 5 months to go until our big day and there was no fuss over trying to fit us in or rush our experience.
From the first email, Roz has been helpful and attentive, always looking for the best ways to help us.
We visited her studio for a consultation and were greeted like old friends. Seeing the examples she has made and taking through our options was really helpful and worth the trip over to her lovely little studio.
The experience day was fanctastic. Roz was incredibly patient and always offered a guiding hand but helped us to do the maximum amount of work possible on our rings. Her one-on-one tutoring style was perfect and she was full of brilliant wedding advice when we weren't chatting about rings!
It's really lovely that Roz takes pictures throughout the process so we have those reminders of the process too. These were sent through really quickly.
I can't reccommend this experience enough, it's incredibly special. I'm just sad I have to wait two more months to wear my ring every day!

Incredible experience! Roz is so patient, kind and understanding, she goes the extra mile to make sure the rings you want come into reality. My husband and I made our own rings using gold we melted down from broken family pieces, she arranged everything so all we had to do was turn up and follow her simple instructions to make our completely unique rings that now hold so many stories. Making your own wedding rings makes them so much more special than buying from a shop and with Roz guiding every stage they look like master craftsmen made them!

And I can't get over what an amazing and memorable day it was. Rosalyn was great fun and an excellent tutor, and it was so special to be working in Rosalyn's own workshop, using the very tools and techniques she uses herself.
The rings we made for each other are beautiful and extra special.

An amazing experience, such a fantastic idea to allow people to make their own rings. We were thinking of having bespoke rings but as soon as I met Ros I knew we had to make them! We met Roz at a wedding fair and thought the idea of having a personal experience of making your own rings was so lovely, we kept hold of her details and didn't consider anything other than giving her a call when we were ready to sort our rings. It was one of the best decisions we made and we both had such a memorable and fun day making our rings together. Throughout the day we both kept commenting to each other how much fun we were having and it was one of the most enjoyable parts of the 'wedding planning' process. Can't fault the day we had at Rosalyn's Emporium! Such a special experience! I was hesitant as despite my enthusiasm my fiance doesn't share my love of crafting but Ros had a brilliant way to make sure we both enjoyed it! As well as this, I would say her costs are really competitive! We made sure we did research on prices of buying rings elsewhere and Ros was hands down the most cost effective!

Roz made my wedding ring and I am extremely pleased with the finished product. She actually melted down an existing ring and combined with rose gold to form a new ring. Roz goes above and beyond with consultations giving helpful advice and guidance with designs etc. She also sent me videos and photos of the whole process from melting to metal working to finishing, which was really interesting to see. I would definitely recommend Roz not just for wedding rings but for any jewellery you want to make special and have a bit of a unique touch. Also great value for money. Thanks Roz!
