Always friendly and honest. Been taking all our family's cars to Mr Clutch for 15 years. Usually pass, but Alan gives a clear explanation if the car fails. If a car cannot pass the basicMOT test, it shouldn't be on the road.

I had 2 new tyres fitted here that I ordered from an online company. Whilst fitting the tyres both of the alloy wheels were damaged in the process and I was told my wheels were buckled so could not be balanced correctly. On getting the wheels checked elsewhere no buckles were found and the balancing was out by 65g on one wheel and 20g on the other. My suggestion is to find a company that uses snap on wheel balancing equipment rather than cheaper alternatives.
Do you have details on how to contact your customers service or do I have to spend my time and money again to rectify the companies failures?

On Saturday the 22nd August 2020 my 16 year old car sprung a water leek the worst part about this is that I was due to take a friend to hospital for a minor procedure the following Wednesday so in my panic who did I think of first yes Alan at Mr Clutch Pentagon Derby. I explained the situation and he arranged for me to drop off my car that same day and telling me he would do his best to get the correct part from the dealers on the Monday and hopefully it would be ready by Tuesday. Well he and his colleagues went one better and my car was ready early Monday afternoon. I have used Mr Clutch Derby for years and their service, friendliness, professionalism has never faltered and is second to none. My gratitude and a big thank you to them all especially as I am a woman on my own that knows nothing about cars they always treat me with the utmost respect and I know I can trust them to do a really good job. I will be back.

Not really sure where to start! Absolutely outstanding service from Alun and the team. We took our car for MOT, Service and to be looked at due to a clutch issue. Alun dealt with our warranty company, keeping us updated all the way along, honestly couldn't ask for better service and assistance. Alun goes above and beyond we're so grateful! Definitely recommend!!!

Always take my car here for it's MOT, I've never had any problems or issues with either the people who work there or the service I've received.
MOT is priced well below the official guide price, it's done on time and they've never said work needs doing that doesn't.
If work does need doing they have never made me feel that I couldn't take it elsewhere (there's a £10 re test fee if work is done elsewhere).
The last time I needed two tyres for an MOT, they didn't have any in stock so they drove to a competitor, got the tyres fitted and drove it back again to ensure I had the car for work on Monday morning.....all at zero extra cost.
Highly recommended.

Wouldn't use mr clutch again, not trust worthy at all. Brought my car in for oil and filter change and they then advised of other things that needed repairing. I took it to another garage for a second opinion who advised that the other issue was absolutely fine and didn't need to be touched but would have probably cost around £100 extra. I then took my car to another mr clutch branch for a diagnostic. £172 later i was told it's sorted to get home and engine light come back on. Not a great experience.

So, need a new clutch fitting. Took it in was done by 10:30 Monday Morning. Cost was not to bad and also warned me that the gearbox was faulty and needed doing. I am always taken advantage of with cars and am very skeptical about garages over charging me but i had another quote from from a different garage that was alot higher then Mr Clutch. He seemed a genuine bloke and was very polite. Clutch was perfect I will definately consider going here for regular work.
