We got a quotation after a leak came in our roof that had been recently repaired. I will preface this by saying we were quoted £5k+ by Evergreen Power, and got the actual problem fixed for £80 by a roofer. The sales team came round quickly and, upon inspection, told us they were certain that condensation was causing the leak (despite it being large and only happening in one place). I asked if there was possibly an issue with the roof and was told the roof was in perfect condition. They used typical tactics like cutting the price for us because we were "the worst case they'd seen". The sales manager quoted for building walls in the loft yet when we asked what they would be built from, she said "I don't know, I'm don't build them". They also quoted us over £200 for a dehumidifier which would apparently dry out the loft to prep for insulation. I had my own dehumidifier and placed this in the loft to see if it would draw any water, and even after days the tank was completely empty. Upon getting a roofer back to double-check the roof, we found out the leak was caused by damage to the roof after a storm. It was repaired two months ago and there have been no more problems, so the condensation is clearly not an issue. I have also read online accounts of people struggling to mortgage houses with this type of foam, despite how much they insist that it is fine. Would definitely avoid, especially if you plan to sell your house in future.

The men left my loft in a sorry state after a recent insulation. They did not cover up anything in the attic and now there are sprays and blobs of foam on lots of the items that were stored there, including furnniture and pictures.. They did not put back any of the items they had to move to do the job, including shelving, and just piled it up in the middle where they moved it to. I had to call the office to send someone to put the items back in their rightful place. If I was younger and fitter I'd have done it myself but I was promised things would be put back after the job was job. This did not happen. See my photos. Still waiting to hear from Management for an apology.

Had work done couple of months back. Was quoted to have membrane installed on some parts along with the spraying. After the installation i suspected membrane wasn't installed, so called the company to confirm if it was installed, was told they will get back to me after speaking with the sprayers next day. One week later no one called so chase up, again was told someone will get back to me. Another week later called again, this time they said someone will pop over to check. After inspection they confirmed membrane wasn't installed. Then spoke to one of the managers who kindly offered me £70 refund. Also to mention, according to the manager i should have known the person i spoke on those three occasion.

Was told that I have 14 days to cancel, and my deposit will be returned. They notified me that the work can not go a head as someone spelt my name wrong . I cancelled within a couple of days , and still have no deposit returned. So do not hand over any deposit.

WARNING !!! Do not take negative reviews on face value!!! Having delved deeper into reviews and finally deciding to take the plunge with this company, I have come to the conclusion the negative reviews may have been fabricated/over-exaggerated or a result of miscommunication and an unrealistic expectation of the job in hand. I first called Graeme the sales manager about icynene foam insulation due to my neighbours having this installed and seeing the benefit they were enjoying with this. We discussed my concerns and lack of understanding of the product. He took the time to explain to me the facts about the product and aftercare and eventually we agreed a price I would be satisfied to pay on credit. Just 2 days later Eddie the installations manager called to my property inspected my loft and then informed me I could get an interest free loan for 3 years!!! The installation was carried out that week. IMPORTANT!! As I waited for my installation date, I scanned all the reviews paying particular attention to the negative reviews which detailed the following; 1. Damaged goods in attic (Personally I would either remove these items prior to installation or try to protect them with covers). 2. Attic left in a mess (Again this is a wet foam spray, I would expect some of it to be on the attic flooring). 3. Stained driveway from van (I was happy to request to the fitters to put something under the van to prevent this. I would expect them to do this having learned from experience). 4. Issues with Gas boiler flue that prevented required ventilation (This company specialises in installing icynene foam insulation not the requirements for every product in my home. It is with this in mind and on reading that the company made right the ventilation issue, I felt confident to proceed knowing a guarantee. is provided with this product). 5. Damaged wardrobe door used in attic to stand on (Well I’ll leave you to make your own mind up about this I know I did!) 6. Bully tactics from sales teams (A simple call to head office would have rectified this, or an email (which cannot be ignored). On the day of the installation David and Marcel (Installation team) arrived. They put protection sheets throughout the house, and even placed a wooden board underneath the van for the black smoke produced from the generator without having to be asked. They installed the Foam in around 6 hours (I have 5 Attic spaces and two small eve spaces). After they had left, on closer inspection, I noticed some areas that may need further attention (The installers had been in and out of the attic spaces all day! (with fatigue and minimal lighting mistakes can happen). I contacted Graeme and he replied stating the installations team would be in touch with my concerns. At a later date, David and Marcel returned and could instantly see there was areas missed due to the unique structure of my roof space. They also agreed the stairway would need filled to get the full benefit of the foams insulation properties, and worked a way around achieving this. I have every confidence now that when making alterations to my property over the warranty period, if I find further areas not covered, they will be out to make it right. (This is evergreen powers warranty promise) Since foam installation my home is 1. warmer 2. more comfortable 3. The humidity is lower from 68% to an average of 54% in every room. 4. The rooms upstairs seem to be a lot quieter as a result of the sound proofing qualities. 5. Attic Joists moisture content seems to have significantly reduced. 6. My gas heating usage has significantly reduced, and I look forward to seeing the money saving next year. I truly believe that when I install under floor foam insulation, my home will be much warmer, with a much healthier humidity and will effectively save on my heating bills. My neighbours have had this installed and I can confirm since putting their home up for sale it did not affect their home report. I will update this review when I am able to get the underfloor insulated. (I cannot wait!!)

Recently had Evergreen out to install foam in my home, wow what a job! Lucy from the office got me booked in for an installation date and the fitters were out within 2 days. They showed up bang on time at 8am, and were amazing. They laid down plastic sheeting to protect my home and carpets, and I didn't even have to move a thing out of my loft (and I had plenty up there!) The whole installation took just under 3 hours and the guys were immaculate throughout the whole process. Very professional from start to finish, would highly recommend.

I am completely impressed by the service provided by evergreen power. They completed insulating my loft space within 2 days and provided me with all paper works and warranties. Thorough professional company

I honestly didn't realise how effective Evergreen Power loft insulation was. I was literally heating the sky. My house is much warmer and much cheaper to heat. The team who carried out the insulation work were very polite and very helpful. I am very impressed by Evergreen Power.

Be careful! I asked for a quote from these guys. A nice man came and looked in my loft. Gave us a quote and I asked him about the fact that we didn’t have any felt barrier between the roof tiles and the loft. He said no problem they will install a membrane barrier, and even showed us a clip of their installers putting a membrane in another property. The quote seemed a bit high, also they were the first company I had invited to quote for the work. He got on the phone “as all salesmen do” and spoke to someone in their office. I explained that I wasn’t ready to sign today. To which speaking back to the salesmen in my house he said “I don’t know why we even bother coming to my house”. How rude! And the boss of the house, mad it clear that she wasn’t impressed. And that there was no way we would be looking to use the company anymore. A few days later I was called by another salesperson, who made me a deal on the cost. So, I dived in and said yes. I booked the installation for a few months after the quote as it gave us some time we wanted to clear the loft. On the day of installation, there was no one to be seen. I phoned and was told they had forgot to book it in so we rebooked for a few days later. The installers arrived and looked in the loft. Straight away they said there’s no membrane installed, I said I know! They were not aware that a membrane needed and could not do the job. I then spoke to someone at there office who said I had to pay an additional cost for the membrane. I said that was not going to happen as I negotiated the final price. He said he would get someone to call me back. The next day another salesmen called and said there wasn’t any problem and he would rearrange the full installation with membrane. A week later after no one called me to arrange the installation. I called them and was put through to the warehouse manager who repeated that I needed to pay an extra fee for the membrane installation. To which I instructed him that they were the ones who did the quotation on their inspection. Which I then got that price reduced, and I was not going to pay them any more than the quotation I was given. He then said that they could not install the installation. To which I instructed him to send me back the deposit I paid. Don’t get fouled into paying for things that a company didn’t translate during their internal communications. I was quoted for a job that included installing the required membrane. They dropped the ball by not insuring that was written down on their paperwork not me. One thing in their favour! They did refund my deposit…

Had a very good experience dealing with Evergreen Power. We got our loft insulated last December and felt the difference in our loft next month. Energy bills was reduced but not by much. Overall happy with the product and the company.

We wanted to get our insulation done so searched a lot for local insulation contractors in our area. We found evergreen power on checkatrade with lots of positive reviews and went ahead with icynene spray foam insulation. Everything went smoothly and we got our insulation done within a week of placing the order.

I had an evergreen surveyor out last week, he showed me all about the product and explained it to me well, we really liked what he had to say, I and my husband then sat, spoke and researched the product and decided to go ahead after all our research. We had our installers out the beginning of this week, there were very polite, wore ppe and done an amazing job! We are so happy we found evergreen and are loving our warm home, just in time for the winter! We will be recommending to all our family and friends. Thanks guys ????

The team that came to complete the installation were prompt, professional and tidy. I couldn't believe the state of them when they had finished the job, the temperature that they work in during installation is unbelievable. Well done guys. So far the outside temperature hasn't dropped very low but I can definitely feel a difference in the loft so far. Hopefully once winter sets in properly I will have a better idea. It also stops a lot of outdoor noise too ????

Very rude vile staff, whose sales staff have a tendency to repeat themselves, quote you over priced insulation which they reduce at a later date to make it seem like they're giving you a good offer and constantly pressure you to make a purchase and constantly bombard you with emails and calls. Very very unprofessional rude staff as well who when they seem to not get their own way, either hang up the phone and not answer again or just verbally attack you, very poor excuse of a company.

being advertised through a private social media account without a company name .... they stopped communicating when asked for company details. The lengthy glowing report on these reviews stinks of being by actual company and not something a genuine customer would say .....very dodgy imho

We had one of their surveyors over and according to him we had three wasp nests in the attic. He showed us some pictures he had taken while doing his inspection. When calling in a pest control company the next day (and paying the £65 call out charge) they miraculously only found one wasp nest which was the size of a golf ball. When I asked for the pictures to be sent to me / talk to him, the before very busy lines of communication went very quiet all of the sudden.

I have to say that the work carried out was to an excellent standard; the technicians were efficient and clean and did an excellent job in navigating the intricate and large loft space. The coverage of the insolation was uniform and everywhere I expected it to be. It’s early days but my wife and I can feel the difference in the ambient temperature of the house and have adjusted the heating schedule and temp accordingly. In addition: Initial appointment with the surveyor was extremely informative.They were able to explain the current status of the existing insolation and condition of the lofts space (based on their detailed inspection). This was backed up with detailed history of the company and benefits of the product. Great product and staff

I don't think this deserves even a 1 star to be honest! Managers are DIRECT racially discriminative in front of customers! We had a surveyor around to check out the loft and to get a quote. Not only they pressurised me in making a decision to buy the product but they wouldn’t leave my property. They continuously kept asking me for the reason why I can’t commit to buying their Icynene spray product. Simply AVOID!! They also mention all the negative reviews online are fake when they come to visit your home for a quotation, I think that’s absurd! A formal complaint is in and police are involved in my case also. If this is how they treat their customers on the quotation, what confidence is there that they will treat us any better!

I called and asked the receptionist if the company did cavity wall insulation. She said they did, took my details and said someone would call me back. I had 2 calls and each time i explained we wanted a quote for cavity wall insulation as when the painter was painting the walls the paint was streaking so we wanted some advice. The guy turned up the next day on time. Measured all the walls. Called his manager to ask something. At that point we were told by the manager that they DO NOT do cavity wall insulation and they told me that i had asked for underfloor insulation. I don't understand where they even got this information and have asked them to listen to the calls. Wasted an hour of our time. Would never use this company again. Absolute rubbish service. Clearly do not listen to customers and just want to waste time.

Absolutely disgusting service from this company. Helen came from the company on Thursday and left a quote, I made it clear I would contact the company after obtaining further quotes from other companies. Just after a day I get called by Sharon whom was the queen of attitude trying to sell the foam insulation half price from the initial quote. I received a further call from this company again 1 day later. This company does not know how to take no for an answer. Very pushy and when you say no to them then you get queen of attitude giving you stress that you don’t need. This company deserves a zero.

Awful. As a contractor, the treatment you get is similar to slavery. You're set to fail. They want you to work for free, wear your car for them, no fuel allowance, no minimum wage. A lot of promises (we pay big comision - of course, the numbers they give you are unrealistic, and you never will be able to reach that) and sales pushing tactics. Avoid, or try for yourself and you came back to my opinion. Enjoy

The staff are friendly, helpful and have all the best resources. Left my house clean and tidy and now my loft is clean and draught free.

Our experience was a very good one, the job was done pretty fast and Kris is very good at his job.

A guy called Adam came , scruffy to say hes a sales man with shirt showing half his tummy, that's before he reaches up....not a good look !! I was told he would look in my loft with a meter to detect the moisture content/ condensation if any. Now I could tell there was no way he had any intentions of going in the loft, he had no torch, apart from his mobile phone and no meter. When I asked about the meter he said the batteries were nearly dead !! He popped his head in and told me of yes you definately have got condensation etc etc. When I asked how he know he showed me a pic.... not my loft!! He then started off at over 8,600 then kept coming down in price. I told him right from the start I wouldn't be signing up but he continued to pester me. I said I need to think about it and talk to family and friends. Stress levels were getting higher and I had to tell him to leave. He still had the cheek to call me back a couple of days later with yet another price reduction. After reading these reviews and learning more about this product I wouldn't have it if it was free. I feel sorry for those of you who paid for it

SHOCKINGLY BAD - AVOID! Didn't show up three times in a row! Didn't even call to cancel the last two appointments, just didn't show up. We phoned them today to ask what was happening only to have the misfortune to speak to a very rude man call Vjay who very strangely (and inappropriately) insisted on asking my wife if her partner would be home. When she questioned the relevance of her partner being home, in order to set up an appointment for an attic insulation quote. he told her to "lose the attitude" and said "well do you know anything about Icynene foam?" and "maybe your partner will have some questions" clearly implying that she wouldn't understand or be able to convey the information. Absolutely extraordinary! and no explanation as to why the didn't show up. She asked to speak to a manager and this guy Vjay said that he was the manager. If that's true, this company has some serious issues. AVOID AVOID AVOID! total waste of time.

After a misunderstanding Danny one of the seniors of the company came out and cleared everything up for us. It is good to see a company that is willing to take responsibility for its employees actions.

Really pleased with the company. The surveyor IGOR came to the house and checked the loft and gave us professional explanation and politely suggested solutions. Helped choose the right one for us. Igor Managed to get the best price for us. The experience was great from start to finish. Now our house is warmer and i can already see the difference. Will definitely reccomend.

Great service from start to finish, Steve and Marcel were both friendly and professional, everything explained and nothing too much trouble, even hoovered up before leaving. Clean and tidy work with little disruption. I can feel the difference, already warmer without the drafts, looking forward to a warmer house and lower bills, I would certainly recommend evergreen power to do the job !

Please,please don't have this foam sprayed into your loft space, my father in law was conned into this ,who now has passed away. My wife has been left a property which is now unsellable due to due to lenders not lending with this product being used.we have had to pay somebody else a considerable amount to sort this problem,plus the charge from evergreen power and having to drop the price of the property has cost us around £11,000,save your money and leave what is the norm,if it isn't broken don't fix it.

Kris came and did the survey showed us video of the attic,booked it and 2days later they came and did the job only took a hour,they did a good job, clean and tidy you wouldn't have know they'd been.

STAY AWAY! expected better quality, there was a few gaps left over, a guy called charlie gave me his word it was all fine! hasn't made any difference to the house for a large sum of money.

Pushy sales people literally had to go and open the front door to get rid..wouldn’t leave the house ..god only knows how they are with vulnerable people...stay clear

A first class experience from start to finish. I filled in a web form on Sunday. An apppointment for a surveyor to visit was arranged on Monday for Wednesday. The surveyor arrived on time and was delightful - very knowledgeable, patient and thoroughly professional. Quotation accepted and the job was scheduled for two week's time. Later on Wednesday a slot became available on the Friday, which I accepted. Engineer arrived on Friday on time. He was again such a super guy - impeccably polite and friendly and really cared about the quality of his work. He did a really decent job and left everything clean and tidy. I was delighted with the whole process, and we are already benefitting from the advantages of the insulation work. I am very happy to recommend this company.

Excellent service. The installation took no more than 5hrs. The two guys were very professional, friendly and efficient talking us through the whole process. Very pleased, would highly recommend.

Very friendly and efficient service from the inspection and estimate stage to the completion of the job. Thorough coverage with icynene taking into account all aspects of the structure of our loft, including area above our extension. Looks very cosy, and hope I can confirm it is good value for money in a year or two.

Took some time before deciding to improve my home but decided it is better to do so than to sell. i realized the shaft coming continuously from the loft can be easily prevented with this spray foam insulation. Easy to cut and to install plaster over. Recommended if you want to use your loft as a room for reading or watching TV!

We had Evergreen Power insulating our loft extension . They did an excellent job from explaining the advantages of their approach and technology and implementing the foam insulation - with great courtesy ( even making friends with our dog, Max, and were very professional and courteous and removed all our old material, and hoovered up too Highly recommended Dr T of Croydon

Had insulation foam installed yesterday, installers arrived on time and explained what they were going to do and they didn't stop until the job was finished at which point I was invited to inspect the finished work and I am very pleased with the result and the service from beginning to the final outcome. Looking forward to next winter to see the difference to the heat retention and how it effects my heating bills.

100% sales focused and not interested in the actual needs of your house. Beware that you will be sold things you do not need and asked to sign up there and then for a better price. If you don't want to sign up immediately, they literally refer to it as "a waste of time". They called me back 2 hours later with another £500 off the price quoted after i told them i wouldn't sign up there and then. Basically, they are trying to rip you off by over quoting, then dropping it to make it seem like they are helping you out. I still haven't received the quote for the works i actually asked them to quote for (cavity walls)!!
