Excellent customer service. I've bought a few items from here and always been greeted with a very warm welcome. The team all have good knowledge of their items and I also had my wedding ring mended, which is nearly 20 years old and it was returned to me looking as good as new! Well worth the money to fix it. I just love this store, it's the best.

It is so rare to experience genuinely good customer service from very genuine people and John and Dawn are just so kind, down to earth and real.
They were both so happy to help in every way that they could, yet there wasn't even a slight whiff of a hard sell. When you arrive, you have 100% of their focus and expertise and they listen and are attentive to your needs.
I arrived, looking scruffy, in all my motorbike gear after a torrential downpour, yet they were welcoming and kind, despite me looking all dishevelled and 'out of place'.
As I said, I had 100% of their focus and I very quickly felt like I was chatting to old friends as I explained what kind of engagement ring I wanted.
I was happy to have bought my fiancé's engagement ring and necklace from them and we will certainly return to buy our wedding rings from them too.
Thank you John and Dawn, you are not only a credit to Whibley's, but to the retail sector in general.

I don't usually leave Google Reviews but I was so impressed with the friendly and helpful service at Whibleys in Guildford. The two members of staff I dealt with were so kind and genuinely interested in the ring I took in to be resized and they kept me updated throughout the whole process. Would highly recommend!

I was very hurt when i decided to sell my Mothers antique trophy , it was a difficult decision and thought a shop such as Whibleys in Guildford would be understanding, first thing they said the trophy was not silver, i know what your thinking an old lady who does not know silver from silver plate but i do as i was the daughter of a jeweller, the staff especially the older man did not even raise his head up to give an explanation ( Not something were intersted in, bring me silver or gold not this) i was shocked!, you would think a person who bought silver would know a Indian silver Calcutter hallmark? I left the shop feeling foolish and angry and felt they had treated me rude in front of other shoppers. I later put the silver trophy into Ewbanks auction house situated near Guildford who treated me as one would like to be!, the trophy raised a great deal more money that i thought as it was a much sort after Calcutter silversmith. My advice would be if the items are silver and may not have an English hallmark that these so called silver dealers would know of and could turn a quick penny is to go some ware else. Poor show Whibleys

Even if the jeweller decides not to buy my items, I am grateful that everyone in the shop was polite and professional. Took my engagement ring in to be repaired. Thought the people in the shop were really friendly and knowledgable. Then my ring came back a different colour! It had been rhodium plated whereas it hadn't been originally. When I spoke to them about it I got told that all their white gold gets rhodium plated and that I should have said if I didn't want it done, yet it was never mentioned or discussed in advance. All I wanted was for someone to admit it had been a mis-comunication, but apparently it was my fault.
