Love the gym, everythings clinically clean, although, when i asked about the key fob to keep track on my progress when using the machines, a staff member said, "oh yeah, no one uses those..." was a USP of the membership but hey, advertising isnt everything right?

Not a huge gym but enough to keep you going. Knowledge on how the machines work other than a quick start is a little lacking but doesn't take too long to work out how they work. Staff are friendly and the place seems very clean. Over all very happy with my new gym.

Great facilities, my experience is a clean, well run, and friendly atmosphere that is very inclusive, healthy and for everyone. The best way a gym can be in my opinion! I particularly enjoy the swimming pool and the wide range of cutting edge machines they have for triathlon/cycle training.

It was pretty well spaced and the lighting was amazing. I loved the badminton court. They were marked with lights which is really unique. Well marked the signages for covid informations from flooring outside to inside. Inside the courts they've provided sanitising products to encourage to observe the covid guidelines. My only suggestion is they could lower the price when charging using the courts for games.

The swimming pool is great unfortunately it is very public so people walking and driving past can see straight in there.
This is not very nice for us users of the pool especially for children. We're all on public display, not something I appreciate as a woman

It's always dirty every time I go in. The facilities are good but the cleanliness lets the place down badly. If it was clean I would have no hesitation to recommend this place to anyone I know.. considering it's a brand new building it is already beginning to look old due to the cleanliness

I went for the 1st time with my son and the water was cold! I had quite a few people telling me, that it won't get any warmer than this due to the Olympic swimmers! why can't they have the pool warmer at certain times, some people have conditions where that cold water will not help them in recovery e.g after having Hydrotherapy They could be at least a bit more considerate and the staff at front were not that helpful or friendly. Langley is a bit better

Considering this is a new establishment it is pretty poor all round. I took my daughter to swimming classes on a Monday afternoon. There are too many kids in each class for the teachers to handle. Because classes run simultaneously it's so noisy that even the kids cannot hear their teacher.
There are only 4 showers which the kids have go que for. The toilets are always disgusting and blocked up with tissue.
The public do not obey the no shoes rule in the changing areas and there are no blue plastic covers to put on your shoes. Why would anyone take their shoes off when the floor is so dirty? You feel like you'll catch something.
The swimming teachers are rude and clearly don't want to be there as they show no motivation themselves and are rude to the parents.
Don't waste your time here if you're thinking of enrolling your kids in lessons.

The fitness studios are well equipped and the classes are led by experienced and very competent instructors. The whole building is very pleasant, light, airy and modern. The booking app works very well and the reception staff were helpful and friendly,
I did not use the pool but loved the viewing areas. Parking was easy.

I have mixed feelings about the centre so giving 3 stars. It is definitely a more welcoming place but smaller in terms of the facilities that Montem had. Keeping in mind that it is a brand new facility it is already going down hill as the cleanliness is not being looked at. When you are doing the lengths in the swimming pool, look under the diving boards near the deep end it’s disgusting. The changing rooms have little puddles and is not clean. The life guards are too young, no sense of responsibility and not paying attention. There were kids playing with balls running on the pool side jumping in the shallow end. The ball was constantly going in the lane swimming area. People who have come to swim were being disturbed. The life guards did nothing. There was no life guard for good 15 minutes. Need serious leadership and staff training. The staff had a very casual approach to customer service and not bothered at all. Not impressed by management.

Went to enquire about how to enrol my son and fees..... The lady there was just giving quick information rushing and not doi g any efforts, not even smiling or showing interest.

I went today and was lucky to get a parking space in the evening. Not very safe for children to walk around because the car park is not really safe. The building is not all that. One big hall for all sport ganes. One small room of studio. One small room of group bikes and the seating to watch on top floor are to tight not enough space especially if you have pram you can not put next you but you have to put the pram at the back of the seats. But yes clean and short of staff l. Worst of all is the prices are a joke. £30 for swimming lessons for kids on top is £25 admin fee and top another fee which I can't remember. This is to expensive.

This is the worst Leisure Centre I have ever visited. Below are my reasons:
1) Hygiene is pretty poor. The drains are clogged up. They have spent multi-million pounds to build this facility but they haven't hired a single cleaner. Only their staff occasionally clean it up.
2) Unpredictable swimming time table- Even though they have printed time table on their website. But they close the swimming pool the very last moment. It happened to me 4 times in 2 weeks. The reason they gave is the Life Guards didn't turn up for the job.
3) The receptionist and managers are arrogant. I wanted to complain about the facilities and they said there is no formal process for filing a complaint. When I spoke to the manager, he was so domineering that he told me that he has wasted 10 minutes of his time talking to me.
Overall, an extremely unpleasant experience so far.

Please do not waste your money! It may be a new facility but the maintenance team are the same. the gym has 8 air-con machines turned on regardless of the number of people inside. i had severe headaches as machines which are not under the air con fans are limited. the pool and spa area are disgusting, with no cleaning rota on display, over crowded steam soon and a ill fitted sauna, the showers are not signed and do not have temperature gauges. the floor is living with grime and dirt yet members are told 'no footwear'. please upgrade your staff, attitude and lockers. this is 2019 even a budget gym is better than Everyone active. some staff are eager to help but you cannot save a sinking ship. the layout of the pool and changing rooms is wrong. other gyms are cleaned 3x an hour and i witness no cleaning taking place throughout my entire time there. canceled membership for full refund after 4th visit.

Ladies only swimming lessons are worth every penny, instructors are brilliant and the hour long lesson is rigourous but constructive.
The centre allows for 2 hour slots, 3 times a week for ladies-only access to the swimming/spa facilites. As a swim school member all visits are covered by my membership, eventhough I access the limited ladies-only sessions it's still worth travelling from Reading as no such facilities exist there.

Went today. The staff were nice during our private session but the pool was definitely not an upgrade.. way to shallow and very unsafe. Really concerned as this was suppose to be a project the community was looking forward to. Must say I'm thoroughly disappointed. Steam room let's out no steam and we have diving boards for a 2m pool. Wish we could go back to montem!

Yesterday we've decided to visit The Centre for first time for a general swimming. I was expecting problems so before we go there I've checked Everyone active The Centre website for the swimming timetable. There was not timetable nor phone number , so we tried our luck and went there. Around 6pm we arrived. There was only a line swimming for a experience swimmers which my 9 year old isn't. So we went home disappointed.Today I've google their phone number and call them and again general swimming was from 3 to 4. But most of us finish work around 5.
So The Centre has a nice architecture and great potential , but for us as general swimmers is so far useless. Also I find out , that The Center owned by Slough is run by private Ltd. and that might be the core of problem. This services must not be run for profit.

Be very careful before signing up to this gym. They often claim that payments haven't been paid. Membership staff are useless and rude on their personal mobiles whilst working. Sophia Fernandez, a member of the Membership team will laugh at you and the problems you encounter which is pretty disappointing. The previous gym had a women's only area however this one does not. They didn't seem to care that the existing members of the old gym had signed up for women's only facilities which are not available at the centre. Look elsewhere don't settle for this gym.

This new manager has ruined this place, you are only allowed to stay in the gym for an hour which is absurd. The toilets are completely disgusting and no effort is being put in this building i am warning you DONT COME HERE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Weird why a brand new leisure center looks dirty from changing rooms to cloudy water. Water looks a bit like milk. People are standing in the swimming lanes. Staf does nothing about it. Lifeguard is engaged in something else. The kids run and jump at the shallow end. It uses very strong odorous chemicals for cleaning, but leaves the hair sticking to the wall. I'm a little disappointed.

Its Not Bad,Its Just So Annoying Considering Mostly Adults/Teens Go There And They Dive Now You Have Slightly Higher Risk Of Getting Hurt Because Of The Deep End Being Now 2 Metres When The 1 In Montem Was 3 Metres.Also, They Rised The Price From £3.50 To £4.25 Which Is Totally No-Sense,The Staff Are Quite Rude. But Otherwise Its Not That Even Bad.

Both pools booked up for swimming lessons so was forced to swim in 1 small area of the big pool. I will Never go back there.

1 star for now as the ladies swimming is not well organised. Went to go to the ladies swimming session to find out even though there's ladies night there is some sort of mixed live class session or something like that as the receptionist said. And that I'd have to call on the day to find out. May just have to cancel membership as its probably more worth it for Muslim ladies if you pay everytime you go.

Mixed feelings about this place. I mainly use the gym which is good, very clean because it's so new and some great equipment in there. But it is smaller than the Montem gym, they should have knocked through the wall at the entrance to give a full rectangular space.
I don't think much of the pool, but there is a good sized steam and sauna at poolside. However no jacuzzi as at Montem.
There is lots of competition around now with competitive prices from existing and new gyms. So I think some customers who were previously members at Montem may leave in the coming months.

I went around one saturday evening and I was asked to pay to get in even though i am member as pool area is subcontracted to someone every Saturday evenings, i would have been allowed if i paid. I was never told about this when i took my membership out infact i was told I can access the pool at all the times unless ladies only sessions. I find it very deceiving.

This centre only deserves 0.5 stars and this is because there are no children facilities such as swimming pool,and really dissapointed as there is no ladies gym only, sauna and steam room far too small.
Alot of unused space could have been used sensibly.
Paying my tax to something not worth.Again as mentioned before diving is dangerous.
Less showers compared to montem.
We want Montem back with the right staff.

I haven't been to the gym not experienced it at all and the only reason I am giving it a 1 star is because it opens quite late and closes too soon! I know it's a family type gym but no good for other people!
