Having called once I was told that she will call back, with this initial chat - left my number with her, yet I didn't get a call back. So, next day, I called again, woman answers so told her I was meant to be called. She said "ok, we'll call you back". And - guess what - no call. Everyone loses with attitude like that.

SInce I entered the agency, Mrs Leah quickly dealt with my requests and I can’t fault it. Very Grateful

The original idea was that after they had advertised a suitable permanent position, I registered with them in order to pursue it, they arranged things, and they, their client and myself would all live happily ever after. Unfortunately, after the initial consultation, the standard "We haven't got anything right now but we'll let you know when we do" left a sneaking suspicion that this was very possibly a waste of time. Friendly enough, but most of their staff (bar one who's sadly left) do not seem capable of spotting genuine ability beyond what a computer screen tells them. Frequently advertises jobs that turn out for a multitude of reasons not to exist when you enquire further (I don't know if this is standard practice among agencies but it's highly frustrating to people looking for a career change). I suppose I should be honoured they don't want to let me leave their books (over three years and counting), but ultimately this doesn't help me, them or their clients!
