Can't rate this office more than 2 stars for this visit. We made an online appointment for the annual report (due by the first two months of each year) for a confirmed transaction @ 12noon. We reached early by 9am, as it's so difficult to find a parking if not impossible. The parking ticket/fees shows 30p but, either you pay 70p + 30p tips to the barker or, you'd have to move ur car right away. Anyhow, we had no other option but to accept it ????. The security guards were so helpful, who gave us the health declaration form to complete & reminded us about the face mask+shield and then, they asked us to follow a very loooooooooooooong que. We didn't believe that all of them came too early like us but, when we inquired about their appointment time, some of them were for 10am or 11am, so imagine almost 200 - 250 were ahead of us and, we're all waiting under the sun ????. When we entered to the designated area for the annual report, it took us exactly 30min. The immigrations personnel by the counters were friendly and fast. We paid the 310p fees each and, were directed to the exit, so they can accommodate the others. My recommendations: - Make sure you have an online appointment for the afternoon slots and, try to come early if possible. Anyhow a long que will be waiting for u. No need to print the appointment confirmation, if u have it saved on ur mobile. - Don't forget ur face mask & face shield + ur umbrella + small chair to rest. - Bring a small bottle of water to keep hydrated. And some snacks as well will be good. BTW, there is a small burger shop left side of the main entrance, they serve a very good burger ????. Try their double patties' burger and, I'm sure u will not regret it. Promise.!

Went here last 11/19/20 for 8am schedule, my husband was able to finish his appointment (extension visa & acr card) around 10:30am. So fast and accommodating. Their guards are so friendly too and helpful.

just fine. alot of people and small mean head office. and all non citizens should come there to finish their work. for renewal or visas extensions. other far brunches hard for them to do this work. not enough experience or brunch self not really ready to do it. add to all this you need appointment if non the hard time will start just to enter. need to develop and improve your services. need to upgrade your brunches so every one can finish his/her work without traveling to Manila. specially domestic flights are all not working. thanks alot and regards.

It's an interesting place and experience as a foreigner to navigate the complex bureaucracy / bureaucrazy. Officers can be very helpful, however be prepared for long waiting times, and always bring multiple copies of every document you think you might need. In addition: officers tend to be more helpful if you bind all your required documents in a binder. Copies and binders can be obtained inside the BI, across windows 4-6 next to the coffeeshop. If you have flight tickets, print them and bring them. Best of luck.

I'd like to thank the personell at ECC releasing (especially sir at the releasing window). They were able to release my ECC in time for the flight next day. I was very short on time due to having settle other things as well since my passport expired during covid). Thank you.

No-one answers the phone. I've tried for weeks to get through. Every office number extension goes unanswered. Even the recepton does not pick up. I emailed them on the gmail account (very unprofessional), they just say to talk to the office concerned. I called the office concerned, he said just come into the office. No-one can provide definitive answers and it seems like no-one works there.

November 4, 2020: it should be 0 stars.they are not letting us in even we made an appointment. service is so slow.. We have been coming back for many weeks now. So many people are complaining with the extremely slow service.they gave claim stubs dated today thinking it can be claimedthe same day on the date stamped but they are not giving it yet making us go-to room 420 then 208 then 304 whatever until we are not able to claim it. They're not even giving the approximate time when we will come back so we ended up sleeping on bench which is not good because of covid situation. So much money has been spent on the fare and the penalty just because they keep on extending the dates. They said we can pay for someone who can do transactions easier making us pay a huge sum of money. They don't make those agants wait for long. They prioritize even the last of them every where even if we came first. This needs to fixed. Today is 1:32 PM and running we have been in here since 8AM Update: November 5: the visa extension was processed Oct 3, claim stub was dated on November 4, we came back 6 times. Still documents are for review. They signed the paper on November 24 but they did not release papers until today Nov 25!!! It's been more than a month no documents were released. December 1, 2020: No signs of passport release even if we paid the express lane. The guards memorized my name because of the numerous times we went here. The staff in restaurant and cafe became my friends already. Because the services are so slow and I spent too much time and money going to bureau of immigration spending hours and hours inside without progress, I can now say that bureau of immigration is my second home. Funny but sad reality. PS: DONT EVEN TRY CONTACTING THEIR TELEPHONE NUMBERS. NO ONE IS RESPONDING EVEN IF U TAKE 100 CALLS A DAY. I TOLD THEM ABOUT IT THEY GAVE AN EMAIL AND STILL NO REPLY.

Like an anthill. From one switch to another. Like in a maze. No price list on the notice board. Arbitrariness of the so-called civil servants.? Since 10.00 o'clock I take part in the procedure to make a stamp transfer into my new passport and extension. 2 months (2800 Php). After paying another 1h waiting for my sticker. Thanks to the staff. With all the work - quiet, polite and helpful. Window 30 and others. Helpful helpers. People from 100 ten countries. All other mentalities. Language and communication problems add up to the rest. What needs improvement is more seating. Guests are littering on the floors. More tables. All around a stressful day for both sides. Now at 4:00????

very very slow service, very very inconvenient. it took me 5 hours just to process my travel records. 30mins in line to xerox my passport, i waited 3 hours just to get my travel records copy to check if its correct and pay at the cashier, and 1 hour and 30mins to stand in line at the cashier. its also very, very hot inside. I hope yorme isko could also help improve the Immigration. edit: i went back and tried the burger, sorry to say but for me its so, so.. i can make it at home. its overpriced P160 and its just filled with lettuce, tomatoes and pickle, nothing special with the taste. jollibee is way better, angels burger and burger machine.. lol. even the fruit shake P100 is expensive for that size.

Main office of immigration of Phillipines. Notice: women in shorts are not allowed! Update! Last year I was sure this office is very nice. But years by years situation is changed. Horrible service! If you are "white skin" it means you can pay. You will wait any small paper very long. For any force you need to pay "agents" around

Philippines closed to ALL VISITORS unless you are married to filipina until mid 2021 at best. Unacceptable. OPEN THE COUNTRY, CHARGE FOR TESTS AND RESUME VISA ON ARRIVAL. UNACCEPTABLE handling of COVID19 situation!

I was expecting to be there for at least two hours but I got out of there in less than one for extension visa; 2 days after I went back for my passport and it was given to me in less than 20 minutes. I think that they have gone long way improving their service. I am personally satisfied with the service.

The Philippines money machine, make easy things complicated, appointment not working if you don't have old system in your computer or cell phone, their site is not secure, Microsoft say with edge, site not secure, so why don't they update and secure their site!

Quick, fair, reasonable services. Keep it up pls. I'm always happy to visit here to extend my visa unlike when I visit Angeles immigration office which is located in Marquee mall. I hope they fix themselves soon. Thank you so much.

Improvements needed in almost every aspect. 1. Next to impossible to get a simple answer over the phone or via operator. Called multiple times, various days, times for weeks. Have been transferred to various offices where nobody's picking up(except once when wasn't even able to explain why calling because was promptly told "wrong number"). When calling directly there is an automatic voice promoting paranormal services. 2. Have been to over 50 countries..nowhere have seen this rather poor way of issuing a simple 6 months tourist visa. Having to pay..not only once but multiple times..although the ACR card is valid for a year it doesn't mean you're good to stay for a year..you just have to keep coming every month or every two months to keep paying, ..depending on location be prepared to waste a full day just for that considering the traffic and this office poor management. 3. The place is overcrowded, hot, dated, littered etc cleaning and hygiene definitely not at the top of the management agenda..despite daily large crowds frequenting 4. Some staff is helpful but most not able to articulate or express a more detailed guidance or info..Would think there are people with more complex thinking in the Philippines that can be able to offer pertinent information when asked and do a much more efficient processing. As I said currently the place leaves a lot to be desired... and yeah definitely it is not more fun in the Philippines after dealing with immigration services which should be top notch if intending to encourage tourism.

If you drive or have your own service expect to pay one of the outside street gangs in order for them to allow you to park on the BIR’s parking premises. If you think you can park there and not pay the randsom, you’ll come back to flattened tires. We got away with paying just P50, but they first wanted P500. And to think, this is the place most foreigners go to renew their visa so they can stay in this beautiful country. Great representation on how things are done here in the phils. Pay (for a service you should be entitled to, such as parking) or risk damage to your vehicle. I should emphasize, the street gangs demanding payment to park have no official affiliation with the BIR Aside for the outside street gangs controlling all parking in and near the BIR, everyone inside actually working there seemed nice and welcoming, and most of all were very helpful. However, it’s hard to believe they arent privy to the street gang’s tactics. Dont you know this is where most foreigners go during their trip to the phils? Id think that due to pride in their country they would clean it up. Like most things here in the phils, they just dont care.

Needs a bit of courtesy and kindness. Not warm to foreigners who are extending their visa. Paying extra money for express lane but the service not good. The paper will tell you wait for one hour after paying but in the window 1 hour and 30 minutes. If you will asked the lady if your visa was done she will just reply look at the screen and don’t come in the window unless your name appeared on the screen. Waited for almost 2 hours. Hopefully just a bit friendlier.

It has improved, it’s a bit more organized, but there are so much “BI Accredited” people going around and cutting through queues simply because they can and they know the staff behind the counters. Why are there so many of them? I noticed that these “BI Accredited” people assist the MANY CHINESE NATIONALS that have sort of overtaken many areas of our country. I know that they earn from these Chinese nationals but they should not try to cut though lines especially over seniors and disabled people... But I want to commend Officer Sarona for taking time to kindly help us fill up forms and point us in the right direction. That’s why it’s a 3-star instead of a 1-star.

3 stars rating only, because they need to improve their services a lot still. Has their slowliness already reached the bottom,or can it become even worse? No idea. I wonder if a few employees get a bonus every time for being rude?If they do,some of them would be millionaires by now. Also,a smile does not cost a thing. Few are those who show professionalism and to them I say a big thank you!

So incredibly bad service. No information what so ever. Waste of time from start to finish. They don't tell you what to do or where to go. Just sit down and wait and later find out you have to actually do something else before that. Most countries give 3months of turist visa this is just so bad. And expensive. 3030k php for "fast lane" ...

I have spent about $500.00 here and I know many others spend just as much on fees.. But they can't afford to put air conditioning on their upper 3 floors. It's so hot.. Then they make you wait for hours. There are doors and windows left open.. They carry around big bags of garbage in front of your face and sweep between your feet. Please do this on non working hours it's rude.

My passport had been stolen which had a six month visa. They told me it wasn't an actual visa I had gotten at my consulate even though I had receipt that showed otherwise. Now I'm stuck paying renewals more than once.

It doesn't even deserve one star. As a tourist from Australia, I found the immigration officer at Manila airport narcissistic, unwelcoming and he thought he was doing me a favour! Horrendous queues and terrible inefficiency everywhere. The country will stay poor unless the officials change their attitude to tourists and improve their game. Knowing them, this will not even be read: I know but this is a warning to potential travellers to the Philippines.

Typical Filipino service, call numbers are available but no one answers. Website information are not consistently maintained, thus, information contained are inaccurate, unreliable and creates unnecessary public inconvenience specifically to those needing immigration services.
