What a great service!
I needed some technical advice regarding Stamp duty on a property purchase. By the time I found Optimise I had researched a lot but was still unclear on what formula to use for my case which included "multiple dwellings relief" over 6 dwellings. I found them via their YouTube channel and purchased a consultation from their website. For the price I got my answer in an illustrated report and a voice recording of the 30 min call for future reference. Worth mentioning the report came 4 hrs after the call - just brilliant. I was also welcomed to email or call if i needed clarity.
I'm glad i found these guys as 2 other firms wanted 25% of my saving plus a fee which was thousands which apparently is how it rolls in most Tax firms.
I will be recommending Optimise to friends as they are a useful and easy to access resource of Tax advise.

Had a zoom call with Simon, he was easy and professional to talk to, he knew exactly what I needed to enable me to move forward with my business plan, he identified various issues in the set up i had and was able offer a better alternative particularly as regards to reducing the amount of tax I was paying. for me it proved to be very helpful discussion and Simon given me confidence to move forward in the direction he suggests. I would recommend Simon to anyone who's looking for a new accountant.

I have only been with Optimise for a short period but they are brilliant so far. I often, can't commit to phone call times however, Linette has been great and I can email her to discuss any questions I have and book a time that is convenient.

Staff always changing says everything you need to know about this company. Run by an unpleasant narcissistic who is more interested in reviews after each call than giving value. At the huge fees you pay you should get a chartered accountant on every call and a Rolls Royce service not some AAT who will be gone by next week when they find out how terrible the company really is. Avoid unless you want to overpay!

I only went as far as the initial consultation with Optimise. Spoke to Jan as part of a half hour free initial consultation where she took the time to understand my exact situation and needs. To my surprise, she was very forthcoming that their expertise maybe wasn't quite what I needed for my simplistic tax query. That approach is certainly refreshing to see

The model is to sell overpriced information to the gullible. The service is shoddy and full of arrogance towards clients. If your a client and having doubts about what your really paying for then trust your instincts. At these prices you deserve a lot lot better than these scammers.

Terrible accountants, not interested unless have a certain number of properties as state they cant save you the money of their fees. Also given conflicting advice. Then didnt bother to return my call didn't listen to my personal tax situation properly. So in the end had to pay an even more expensive property accountant.

Spoke to Jan Minty on a FREE video conference call for 20 minutes. I outlined my CGT issues relating to my BTL property. Jan was able to point me in the right direction to solve my problem. I purchased Optimise's CGT calculator and watched 4 videos as outlined by Jan. Following their advice Iam now equipped with a plan to mitigate my CGT as it relates to my 3 BTL properties. Aggressive and interested in specific client profiles only. After watching Youtube videos , I made enquries to become client in August . finally after numerous chases for BDM and number of follow ups with reception finally I become a client and was put under a price plan which incluses SA filing but I made this clear during calls with BDM. When questioned about the price plan, member of staff try to convince me and I agreed with the explanation. During onboard call I was advised a client can have '2' calls which I did and I was asked to cancel one of the call. Then another explanation came in from the senior memeber of the firm expalining the circumstances of havng '2' calls in a day and I agreed . For the next week I booked two different subjects under '2' different calls on same day. Simon contacted me over the weekend and said both the topics can be covered in single call and agreed. Then a follow up email from him saying it is not viable for him finannacially to have '2' calls so to avoid future strain in relation I have to cancel the client agreement. On day -1 I was asked to send the HMRC authorisation to act for me and arrange the latest SA , which I did which I think too premeditated step to request the client information when they want to try for '7'days. Even after ''7' days cancellation of agreement staff send emails asking me to send additional personal information , staff contact me re upcoming meetings and automated meeting reminders from company. I have recently sent an email to Simon to stop sending these emails as I wasted enough time to get on board and this time again I am not prepared to waste timefor get off . My short experience is even though staff are very experienced and professional, Simon is very agressive in decison making as he looks for excuses to cut off client agreement as he is only interested in a specific set of clients who he think may fit in and don't ask him any questions.

My call with Simon was extremely beneficial and helpful. Simon had the ability to really understand and engage with me during our Zoom call together which is sometimes difficult to do given the medium. All my questions were answered, as well as leaving me with challenging questions to reflection upon and answer. Additionally, the call allowed me to stress test my ideas and strategy to ensure I am doing the right thing for me.

I booked a 30minute consultation with Louise. Given that I currently reside overseas, the online platform in which I could upload questions beforehand so as to make the best use of the 30minute slot was extremely beneficial. Louise was extremely knowledgeable and provided valuable detailed feedback on our conversation. I highly recommend them and certainly intend to use their services again in the future.
