JUST TERRIBLE SERVICE.
We are waiting for 4 Month for a german VAT ID. After a Call by German Financial Department we got Info, that Avalara/Singularity UG is still not provided all necessary Documents and german finacial department is waitng for over 3 Month for an answer! Well Done Avalara

After placed a negative review, we received a Call from Avalara and after couple weeks the issue was solved, thats why we raised from 1 Star to 3 Stars!

AVOID! It takes them SIX MONTHS to forward your main onto yourself!
Would hate to think how our VAT affairs are now....
Time to get rid of this sham of a company and sort out our own VAT returns!

Terrible company. We registered for the submission of VAT in Germany. They email you their invoices - I missed one of their messages among a sea of junk and few weeks later, I got a message saying they were going to 'liquidate' my account. That is how they treat a client who has always paid his bills, and simply missed one due to an oversight. Anyhow, when I received their threat I paid the bill immediately but they still refused to re-activate my account, and submit my German VAT return which means we'll probably get a fine from the German tax department. Basically, Avalara charge £150 a month for doing very little (we give them the figures and all they have to do is file the return) and then come down on you like you're a criminal the moment they get one invoice overdue. Avoid this company and go elsewhere. Incidentally, none of the positive 'reviewers' here have actually written anything about the company, and two of them have the same surname. You can draw your own conclusions from that!

Terrible service. I have an account manager who won't reply to emails. I have tried to call but the company doesn't have a switchboard and can't put me through to her. Been trying to get an answer to a problem since April (its now September) and I still haven't had a reply.

Diese Firma kümmert sich nicht um ihre Mandanten und deren Belange. Steuererklärungen für beauftragte Zeiträume werden nicht fristgerecht eingereicht. Es herrscht Chaos und Zusagen werden nicht eingehalten. Antworten auf Fragen die man per Mail sendet werden teilweise nach Wochen erst beantwortet. Wenn Säumnisszuschläge seitens FA erhoben werden wird einfach behauptet der Mandat wäre schuld. Man kann nur abraten hier Aufträge zu platzieren!
