We used the sound & light hire company to help live stream our wedding, they provided wedding lighting as well as the live streaming camera & microphones. Great quality, very professional and our wedding was streamed to our family without any problems which was our main concern on the day. Highly recommend wedding streaming & lighting hire service.

Hired a lighting setup for a live stream we put on a few months ago. Lights looked great & the lighting guy are amazing to work with (i think his name was Jamie), helped us with some of the audio & other bits with our stream as well. Like many people, my daughter turned 18 during lockdown so was unable to enjoy a normal 18th. Cue the Sound and Light Hire Company and we turned our kitchen diner into a nightclub with lights, lasers and a smoke machine. Unfortunately she had to “party” with mum, dad and her brother making cocktails but it would have been even more rubbish ???? without the amazing equipment we hired at a great price. Thanks to Kerry and Jamie for the great service. Will definitely be back for more when we can host a proper party.

I hired some speakers & disco lights for my 30th birthday, Jamie was really great & helpful with everything from explaining what speakers was best suited for my party and then took the time to email me over some videos of the party lighting packages they had. On the day of my event the sound & lighting technicians who came to fit the equipment were ontime, polite & seemed to know what they were doing for sure and they then collected after the party had finished. Will definitely use again for another party we got planned for later this summer! So all round an excellent local sound & lighting company & thoroughly recommended.

The best speaker hire company in town if you ask me! I’ve always found the sound team to be courteous & easy to deal with. They came to install the sound system without any problems for each event & then pick up always with never any problems, so nice to deal with them. I highly recommend them and I give them 10 out of 10. I will be using them again for my show in June for the next conference

Jamie made everything so easy for us. We hired speakers and a stage for a large event to supplement what was already at the venue. We were completely clueless about what we'd need, but sound & light hire answered all of our questions and made sure we had everything in order & i even got a call the day beforehand to let us know everything was fine & to triple check & confirm times. Everything arrived labelled and sorted and they made it very easy for us to unpack and to return after the event! Great to work with

The wedding was a huge success and the wonderful comments from guests about the band have been numerous.

James was super helpful throughout the whole hire process. He recommended the correct sound & lighting equipment for the occasion and offered multiple options for pick up and drop off which was super helpful as the wedding party was being held in London and running around London on a friday isn't a great idea. Overall, I was very satisfied with the quality of the speaker sound system & the wireless LED lighting plus the service and I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to hire sound or lighting in London.

Great company to deal with. Jess was very helpful in the emails and provided detailed information throughout.
I hired the small iPod package and upon collection the speakers were demonstrated and taken out my car. The speakers performed and sounded awesome at the party.
When I returned everything the following day the speakers were tested and I was thanked for my custom.

When you are planning a wedding from a different country you really want to make sure you're using the right production company & i'm very pleased to say then we found it in this company and it's nice to know there are still some genuine hard working companies out there that actually do what they saying they are going to do, that don't mess around, or change anything at the last minute, I just got up with it, made everything happen! it looked and sounded incredible! I was able to hire all sound equipment at a short notice, which was delivered to my venue on time, also my event run over at the time of pick up, they were able to accommodate me the extra time i needed.

Absolutely brilliant speaker hire service. I called with only a month to spare until our wedding, and despite not having any more uplighters in stock on my date, they found some elsewhere & still did us a great deal! On top of this, they were willing to pick up the uplighters at the pub where we held our post-wedding party I can't recommend them highly enough.

After all the work and collaborating, the event happened - and the True Sound guys and equipment and everything else were brilliant. The video screen, the sound and the light show all worked beautifully together and created exactly the effects and atmosphere I was after. From my first meeting with Tim I knew this would work and through negotiations with Kerry we achieved a top-class deal.
And the LED poseur tables were a triumph - a real wow in creating an up-beat mood.
It was a learning event for us, too, even though we're all seasoned amateurs. We should have focused more on getting the on-stage mix right during the sound check, rather than just playing a couple of songs, and there were other little things that we messed up. If we could have another go it would be absolutely perfect. As it was, it was truly great. If the opportunity arises to work with you again in the future, I would jump at the chance.

Despite some last minute issues (which were all sorted in time without any hassle), I was very impressed with True Sound Hire. The equipment I hired really helped to make my 70s disco party a big success, particularly the light up dance floor. It was set up quietly and quickly which let us get on with the rest of the venue decorating, and the dismantling at the end of the night was even smoother. I would recommend the company.

We only hire from a few local companies and anytime we get stuck or quickly need to sort something out this company helps! The level of which the company has grown over the last 5 or so years is impressive but credit to them for doing things right and keeping the hire stock is fantastic condition (we always joke about with them about how clean and new everything looks)
To say I'am impressed would be an understatement as I believe they are the leading hire company in the Surrey 100% - Yes there are some other good companies about but for me they have the edge and its a mixture of the kit they stock, the way its packaged up and the super cheeky service they give us.

A really first class service. The staff were extremely helpful right from first contact, suggesting items that might be useful. Our engineer, Alan, was very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient, rigging a 9 piece band in record time. He produced an excellent balance which enhanced the enjoyment of all present. The quality of the supplied equipment was first class giving a very clean undistorted sound both from the main PA stacks and from the stage monitors. All in all True Sound offered excellent value for money without cutting corners on the quality. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anybody needing a good audio PA rig. Well done True Sound - we'll be back!

True Sound is amazing! Our school used the services of True Sound for a school dance. The lights/sound were incredible and fantastic! Everyone commented on the professional quality of the lights/sounds. We had colour, lasers, fogs. It felt more like a club than a school gymnasium. The Customer Service was fantastic. Kerry and Tim were extremely helpful and responded right away to emails and calls. James was our Lights/Sound Operator at the dance and was punctual, personable, and extremely talented. He worked with the DJ and even provided additional cables that the DJ needed for our venue.
We will use True Sound in May for our upcoming school prom.

True Sound have a friendly, professional and great attitude from the moment they pick up the phone through to completion of the event. I work with vulnerable and sometimes challenging young people and put on small to large scale music/AV events. Alongside having high quality and well maintained kit, most importantly for me they treat every event as if they are providing for a high profile global artist whether it's a large scale concert of small school concert. I hired from this company last year, had a great experience, fast replies, cheap kit and friendly staff.
Unfortunately, my most recent experience with this company has been that they advertise products on their site that they don't supply, they rarely replied to my E-mails, and when they did, it was uninformative and blunt. This was topped off when due to their slow responses I was unable to hit client deadlines and had my budget slashed as a result.
Sorry to leave a negative review after a great previous experience, but I'll be taking my custom elsewhere as of now.

Providing the stage, lights and sound for Samfest Music Festival the True Sound crew took the festival to a whole new level. The engineers clearly live and breath their professions which was a breath of fresh air for us and all of our bands giving us a hassle free and relaxed approach to our event. Bad aftertaste. Hired some equipment but one small part on a tripod was missing, as witnessed by a friend when unloading with me. TSH insists all equipment is checked but can't really prove it. Basically I hired a non-working component, and instead of an apology I am asked to pay to replace something they never provided. I esteem my time and reputation above £15, paid and walked away. I wish them luck with their business.
PS having read TSH reply I cannot make sense of it but I can confirm I did pick up and unload everything myself. Not all was tested there: out of several tripods, lights, speakers I cannot check each screw so I certainly have signed receipt of goods, trusting the provider. Bad choice! Anyway I paid all what was asked simply to stop the bother, I admit to no fault and retain all rights to complain.

I hired the 2x moving head package for a local "Battle of the Bands" competition and when I went to collect them, the staff were incredibly helpful! One of the lights wasn't in "slave mode" correctly, and got changed before I could ask! They were demonstrated, and programmed in which meant that I had to just "plug and go".
The lights looked really good with the haze effect and "gave the school event a festival feel" (one of the judges words).
I must thank TrueSound for how helpful they were from the first email to the follow up and will definitely hire from them again and is definitely worth recommending!
