A great and unique antiques and brick a brack store in North Reading on way to Caversham from Reading. This unique place has loads of stuff on two floors with a very friendly and knowledgeable shop manager to give you advise and help.
The bonus is that there are a few free parking places right outside the store on the premises - a very useful facility indeed.

Good collectibles store, mostly old furniture and bric-a-brac and retro decor pieces. Quite a few interesting items and nostalgic pieces. Great for up-cyclers or re-purposing, not so much in the way of cabinet pieces, an enjoyable place to walk around if you are passing by. Limited parking but easy to walk to from Reading Station or Town Centre.

I had driven past Fanny's countless times, so close I could smell it but never quite managed to squeeze myself in. However I found myself passing on foot in the pouring rain and given it was soaking wet I took the opportunity to slip in, what a delight it was!
It's very tight, but as I pushed and poked around inside Fanny's I really enjoyed myself. The prices I paid seemed very reasonable for what I received, and having discovered the wonders that Fanny's offer I'm sure I'll come again and again.

Quirky place you can find all sorts of interesting things, they have a good selection of older bits and pieces from fine china to old furniture, to painted furniture, any and everyone is bound to find something in there they like...

Paid for a mirror. Did not take it off the premises. Found it too big and yet could not get a refund. Spent £4000 ,Here not any more. Thought supporting local shops is always best but not this one .
