The Doctors and Nurses are amazing and my family and I have been well looked after over the years. Sadly making an appointment is an all too frustrating affair and sometimes a little empathy would go a long way rather than the just plain rudeness of those on reception. Their abrupt opinions would have you believe they have also done several years at Med School. With the reception team being front of house, it is sadly the one thing that people remember.

Extremely slow service. Took nearly 2 days to receive antibiotics signed back that were needed urgently. Service is upside minded, things are not done efficiently. Nurses that deal w patients are very attentive and good but that's the only good thing I've experienced. Otherwise, abysmal admin and service and I don't really feel cared for as a patient.

Reception are rude and insist on talking over you,
It's 48hrs on and I am still no closer to speaking to my GP as the phoneline is constantly engaged between 9-10am, I swear this surgery thinks it's patient's are calling for fun and don't require a GP or people only get sick before 10am, if people are calling your surgery then they are sick and in pain and really need to be seen by a GP, fobbing the off by telling them to call back tomorrow without knowing what the issues isn't helpful and could have serious consequences, a little empathy, understanding and patience from your reception wouldn't be too much to ask for!

This morning I called to book a Dr's appt for my son however due to the current pandemic they arranged a telephone call to discuss the issue which I felt was perfectly acceptable under the current circumstances. A Dr called me within 2 hours of me booking the appt. After a thorough telephone conversation with Dr Thiagi she arranged for me to send some photos of my son's problem. I received a call back within 10 minutes and was given a comprehensive assessment of the problem. People are always quick to moan however whenever I have dealt with DMC I have always received an excellent experience.

Not sure why they have such bad reviews.... always get an appointment and always very helpful and understanding.
I can't help thinking the bad reviews are maybe because they dont dish out antibiotics and they pack off people who dont really need nhs help. I wonder if these people would still go if they had to pay......

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO TO THIS SURGERY. MYSELF & MANY OTHERS LEFT THIS HORROR STORY OF A SURGERY BECAUSE OF ABSOLUTE INCOMPETENCE. I CANNOT HAVE CHILDREN NOW BECAUSE THEY WOULD NOT REFER ME TO A FERTILITY SPECIALIST. I THEREFORE HAD A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN BECAUSE OF STRESS & THEN THEY WOULD NOT HELP ME FOR THAT, THEY WANTED TO GIVE ME A 25% DISCOUNT ON GYM VOUCHERS, THATS GREAT WHEN YOURE SO ANXIETY & STRESS RIDDEN THAT YOU CANNOT FOCUS ON ANYTHING. PLEASE IF YOU HAVE TO GO FURTHER TO ANOTHER SURGERY, DO IT. I FEEL SICK TO MY STOMACH GIVING 1 STAR AS THEY DON'T DESERVE MUD FROM MY SHOES

I have to say that every time I visit or 'phone I am greeted with politeness. I have been registered with this practice for 25 years and without exception after a visit I say to my husband that I am so pleased with the doctors and receptionists I would not want to go elsewhere. A word of thanks or appreciation for their help goes a long way because I always feel they do their best to help.

The appointments system is awful. It's very difficult to get appointments with the right doctor, you are supposed to get emergency appointments for routine visits, like getting your prescriptions filled. They block out many whole days so only emergency appointments are available and everyone has to ring at 8.30am on the day for them. It's crazy! If you call at 9am all the appointments will be gone and you are told to call back the next day. If your medications mean you can't get up early, it's impossible to get one.
Be careful who you see as many doctors won't listen and send you away with nothing.
My current doctor is fantastic. She listens and believes; and gets you treatment. Only problem is that she is part-time here, so appointments with her are hard to get.
Another of the very senior doctors here has misdiagnosed serious conditions on me, one of which was a cancerous tumour and another left me virtually unable to walk due to infections and severe pain. She is useless.
Some of the doctors, nurses and staff here are extremely competent and helpful. Some are just rude, ignorant and everything but helpful, or I would have given it 5 stars.

Every time I go into this place I get told there is nothing wrong with i have been miss diagnose 3 times regarding a chest and viral infection when I'm pregnant. I have now had a serious allergic reaction to the antibiotics and the doctors wont listen to any of my issues and claim these are emergency appointments.

Sooo unorganised, unprofessional and when you question anything they are always right and thats just the receptionist !! Im a nurse / midwife / mother who would not trust their judgement. I would not bring my son there because i dont trust them

Register at a different doctors.
This place is run by a very unprofessional manager. Responding to a complaint, they have humor in their voice. Might aswell have been laughing.
I have been given the wrong medication which has made my injury worse. They've messed up 4 blood tests; the first they never gave me the results. Not capable of taking a blood sample properly, I've had them prod my arm with the needle then make me wait 20mins for a more skilled nurse to do it.
Worst of all they've constantly ignored one symptom which is pain.
I'll be registering at a different more professional and capable doctors.

Won’t listen to any suggestions on your children’s health
After 16 months of going every week to Dedworth medical centre
my little boy collapsed on Christmas Day needed cpr then went on to have more seizures diagnosis
epilepsy!!!!!
Nearly lost him due to complete negligence yet they had been told time and time again my boy keeps having fits!!!!
DO NOT TRUST ANY IF THESE DOCTORS!

One off the worst surgery I have ever discovered ...worst ,unfriendly and unhelpful reception staff .Doctors always off sick it's no point of even opening the surgery ..the opening times is misleading and as soon as it opens phone will go straight to voicemail so no point of ringing them .If I have to rate the surgery I would rate 0 out of 10 ..very very bad experience
