I’ve been looking for the perfect length and L shape sofa and Furniture Village had it! They have very good Covid rules in store, all furniture nicely laid out and clean, especially when we went as we were the only people there. Staff were friendly, attentive, and answered all my questions and concerns. I had a great experience. I’m in love with my new sofa and happy that it was all done via speaking to a member of staff in store.

At first it was a good experience in Staines stores. But unfortunately when u received your delivery is different compare to what they showed you in stores. The seller showed me a quilted mattered protector and when I received it I got a standard one. The seller has lied a lots and for a bedside drawer we look for a bit cheaper he showed us more expensive one and he hide the price from us.

Good customer service till you buy the product. Once you buy it, you are on your own. We were promised a delivery but last minute it showed that our order cannot be delivered. I have been following up since 2 days but no one has a clue about our order. We are not able to cancel the order too. The store manager Adnan do not care about the customer or their issues.

The store was well laid out, had great covid measures in place (the first time I have had my temperature checked) and a good selection of mattresses. There was an added bonus in that after checking over 50 mattresses across 4 stores , the one we liked best was on offer and in stock, so there was no 8-10 week wait as seemed to be the case elsewhere. The reason I am not giving it 5 stars is I was not altogether happy with the sales member of staff. Despite telling her we had been on a Goldilocks mission trying out a high number of mattresses before choosing the one we did, she interrogated us in such a manner as if we had made a poor choice. Having explained the reasons we had chosen the one we did, she could tell no amount of gaslighting would get us to choose a more expensive one and reluctantly admitted it was a good brand (good enough for Prince Charles's warrant at least). She then tried a last ditch effort to see if my partner would add any dissenting voice to our choice and then finally conceded she wasn't going to increase her commission and allowed us to actually buy the mattress. I think if a representative of Sleepeezee had witnessed her performance they would have been very disappointed in Furniture Village. We tried to tell her many times not to arrange delivery on Saturday due to HRH Prince Philip's funeral making delivery almost impossible but she wasn't listening and when the Slough depot rang up to arrange the actual date and proposed Saturday it was not a surprise.

We recently bought a lounge suite, side table and floor lamp from Furniture Village in Staines. The service was fantastic, and the finance application was quick and effortless. I would highly recommend to anyone. Super excited to be getting our lounge suite. The only feedback/suggestions i have, is that once the order has been placed it would be good to know what the status of my order has it gets made to give me peace of mind. 1. My order has been received at manufacturer 2. My couch has started to be made 3. My couch has been made 4. My couch has been shipped to the warehouse 5. I’m not sure how else to get in contact with the Staines Furniture Village. I’ve called more than 4 times and have been promised an invoice to update my order. Still nothing. With such an expensive custom purchase, I would expect more follow through. It really breaks the trust and without the invoice, I have no idea what will show up in 4 months.

The reason for 1 star is very bad costumer service. I have paid 2000£ for a dinning table and 4 chairs. “Unfortunately” exactly when 2 years finished one of the chair got damaged where the welding was done. I sent an email to costumer service with pictures and I was told “ Unfortunately this is not covered under the guarantee” Kind regards. After you pay everything they don’t care at all... no help no suggestion no nothing.

I bought a marble table costing £2000. It arrived with scratches all over, chips, other manufacturing defects. I was promised should this be the case that I would either get a refund or replacement. Now the manager Darren is saying there is nothing that can be done despite coming to the house and seeing all the damage himself. This company is only interested in taking your money and could not care less about you after. It's all smiles and promises at first but then disappointment and useless customer service. I will be proceeding with legal action. Avoid at all costs if you don't want the headache or poor quality products like I have received.

Due to lockdown was having difficulty locating a mattress in stock that could be delivered around 14 days . Having had excellent service from Furniture Village before I called the Staines branch and spoke with directly to a member of the sales team called Abed although the store was closed they were still answering customers enquires. I explained my situation to Abed that due to lockdown I was struggling to find a suitable mattress and equally wanted a great price and delivery within my time frame. He has been absolutely amazing and took all my details sent me details and photos on Whattsapp and we were able to source exactly what I wanted at a super price too. I cannot thank Furniture Village enough their customer service is second to none and Abed went over and beyond to assist me today. I will certainly be shopping here again. I cannot recommend both Abed and Furniture Village enough.

Furniture village staff are always friendly and approachable when you require them but if your like me and like to look on your own they are very good at that too. I always say I’d like to look round and then I will come and find you. I don’t like to feel pressured into buying. The majority of my furniture has been purchased at Furniture Village and have found it to be of good quality, I’m kept up to date on delivery and an excellent service throughout the buying and delivery process.

I am so disappointed in this store, I ordered and was not called about this for 8 weeks and now I went to the store to ask and they said had been picked up. However I am the only one that knew about it and I have the confirmation. I have since called store and left messages. I will not be using them again, I am still waiting for feedback and they have take my money too. No offer of refund or to reorder for me. Dreadful Service

Product is good but long lead times. They sell on interest free plans but only if you have lived in the uk for 3 years. They never mentioned this when they market the product but when you apply for this you are already committed to purchasing the product as they take a deposit upfront. They need to be a bit more transparent.

We had a very professional and welcoming service today from Keith and Martin the Manager. Staff were very accommodating to my husband who is a wheelchair user. They moved furniture and carpets to make it easier for him to try out various recliner chairs. We came away feeling we had been well advised by knowledgeable staff. And we even had a coffee!

The advice i get is always sterling, genuine, good advice and I always end up with something that we love and cherish. The process is quick and easy and the employees make shopping there enjoyable. I'm always offered tea/coffee/water/cookies. My kind of people.. I wouldn't go anywhere else if i need furniture.

Staff are very friendly in the shop but had some queries regarding the bed we wanted. They promised to find out and ring us back. They never have. They never answer their phones. Think they have just placed the order and taken our money as that’s the easy option for them. Really bad customer service. Wish we’d gone elsewhere.

We bought a dining room table in the clearance sale. I specifically asked if they could & would wrap it up in bubble wrap or other protective wrap as it isn’t going into our current house. The salesman assured me they would & then it arrived on Saturday, they hadn’t even dismantled it, with no protective wrapping & a scratch on one of the legs. They also charged £50 for delivery. Wouldn’t mind that so much if they did what they said they would!

Beware! Loved a bed but worried and enquired what weight it could take as slated and the store we wanted to purchase mattress from had warned against slates. The advisor clearly either had no idea or just desperate to make a sale stated 'it is so strong, in fact has our heaviest mattress on it now' she reassured us that it would be fit for purpose with any mattress. So we ordered it Saturday and on Sunday read on line that it does have a weight limit which was no where near enough for our new mattress. On Monday we tried to cancel and have been told there is a 30% cancellation fee! If you order on line you can cancel until delivered but NOT in store!!! Seeking legal advice 2 days later we were fully refunded once discussed with the store manager and then we ordered from Forty Winks, they were excellent!

disgusting rude staff would not recommend at all my 17 year old daughter went to buy herself some bedroom furniture with her wages and was extremely rude and told her to just get out not to go back before she even took 5 steps into the store so i went to complain and had no reason other than he has the right to refuse who he likes. wouldnt waste your money there obnoxious little man high on a little bit of power he can get jobs worth fool!!!!

In December 2017 I placed an order for a sofa and was delivered within a week as promised. Very pleased with the product however, there onwards it was all down-hill. The product was delivered damaged, I was asked to contact the store by the delivery guys. After about 10- 15 times trying and leaving messages few messages the manager returned my call after about week. The case was passed to the after sales team yet again it's the same, to date in total I have made over 10 calls to customer service to get this resolved still not completely resolved. It's always me chasing them, to date ( April 2018 ) haven't had a single call from them. Appalling customer service, though out all these customer service team wouldn't transfer the call to a manager/ decision maker. Very unhappy customer Gobi

Well I have had a nightmare with this branch, I ordered a lovely three seater leather sofa and waited 12 weeks for delivery, it was arranged to take our old one away when they delivered the new one. I received a call about 10 weeks later saying it was ready to deliver, when the guys turned up they could not get the sofa through our door, they said it will have to go back to be taken to pieces and re delivered in three bits and then put together again, I said will can you take the old one away, they tried but said they could not get that through the door either, even though it came through the door when we first took delivery of it about five years ago? So they broke it down and put it in my garage because we had someone who was going to collect it, they let us down too and decided they did not want it, so now it was blocking our garage up! I heard nothing about when the sofa would make another appearance so I rang several times and left messages but nothing, I called one more time and at last someone said they were going to deliver the sofa in three pieces and assemble it in my living room. They arrived on the appointed day and assembled the sofa, I mentioned that I had arranged for them to take the old one, they said we have no orders to do that, I then phoned the store who said they thought they would take it but they wouldn't, also a leather care kit for which we paid £100 for when we originally ordered the sofa was not with the delivery men! I called again to the store who said we will get someone to call and deliver it, nobody called of course. I have had to call and get someone to get it delivered tomorrow which is about seven days after they delivered the sofa for the second time! I really don't know how this company gets along as they have no idea how to service customers and leave you dangling wondering what is happening next.
