My moms first night there. I will be filing a complaint with the justice center. My mom was taken to the bathroom and the aide was not very helpful. Getting my mother back in bed the nurse didn't reconnect my moms oxygen for a significant period of time. My mom has just had several strokes and has motor skill and vision issues due to them. So an aide failing to give my mom her needed oxygen my mother could die tonight. I sat on hold for 35 minutes and the nurse never returned to my moms room. My dad has been trying to call and NO staff will answer. This is beyond unsatisfactory. This is a matter of life and desth. Do NOT send your loved ones there.

This is not a review but I’ve tried to call a friend and was told she has no phone in her room but would be brought to the nurses station to talk. How is it possible in this day and age that the patients don’t have phones in their rooms. Contact with our loved ones, particularly now with COVID, is extremely important as we can’t visit.

Unsafe place to work/hr rate sucks! (With experience) Human Resources tell you a fairytale to get you in the door don’t fall in the trap. Supervisors do not enforce in house policies. (That is not in company hand book) You work every holiday for the first year. You have only 11 call offs in a year or you’ll be terminated. They overlook and do not appreciate employees who go above and beyond and genuine care/pay attention to detail. I worked understaffed for 6months caring for over 40 residents alone. Nurses will leave creams for you to do but will not step in and help you care for residents. Also forced to float to other units to take care of other residents. This place is heartless and is only for the revenue. ( my observation) Company is not for the safety of your family members. Do not recommend. Terrible place to work. Although company seems to have a quality strong discipline structure they need to realize that slavery ended decades ago. ????????????

My grandmother was a resident last year for almost 3 months. While she was there the center flooded on 3 separate occasions in a different wing. There was actual sewage on the floor in resident's rooms! Residents in the affected rooms were forced to stay in their rooms during the times it happened. It was absolutely disgusting. They are also always severely short staffed on both nurses and aides. Everyone is nice but it's really sad when your loved one is sent to recover and you have to be there constantly to make sure they get their meds on time--my grandma had a broken femur and as a result was in extreme pain when they missed her doses. Towards the end of her stay they also missed her heart rate increasing to a dangerous level and we had to threaten to call 911 ourselves because they were waiting for the "on call doctor" to call back and confirm she needed to go. It had already been 2 hours since they had called the doctor when we arrived for our visit. She was visibly struggling to breathe. After threatening to call ourselves they finally called. We made our family doctor discharge her home afterwards and not back to the center because there was no way we were sending her back and he agreed that she should not go back. I honestly have no idea how they have a great Medicare rating after everything that we saw during her time there. I know every place has problems, but this place is just unacceptable. I'd never suggest it to anyone!

After reading the comments on here about this place I would have thought this would be a good place for my gram. Boy I was so wrong!!! I really didn't want to give any stars.I don't care if you're short staffed or not, these ppl deserve better care then they're getting. Urine smell throughout the halls, dirty sheets, who knows when ur gonna get help to go to the bathroom. My mother and I have done so much in this place we should b getting paid.

I've had a lot of experience in this facility with my grandmother being there. We had issues with nurses stealing from the room and being impatient. Few people there have been helpful

My dad was recently admitted to this facility. He is 90 as suffers from confusion in a bad way. The people at this facility are some of the most patient healthcare workers I have ever come across and I work in a hospital! Every person from the RN's to Aides to housekeeping and support staff are always so friendly and absolutely approachable. I will tell you this that when you have a family member of your own in this type of situation your own training and patience goes out the window but to have him at a facility where I know is his well being is everybody's concern lets me deal with it in an easier way. We need more McGuire Group run healthcare facilities. If I was a politician I would privatize every aspect of long term care and leave it to the people with experience and a proven track record of excellence. I would highly recommend this facility for any need you or your family would have for rehab and long term services.
