Very bad experience. I just bought a new phone on the website and I wanted to have a look at the case at this store. At my surprise I learn this apple store is only accepting appointments, the entrance seems like a bank caveau, super guarded and with so many shop assistants everywhere. Sadly no appointment available for next few days, as I was here with my young baby it was quite a disappointment not being able to buy anything. Not sure I will come back and probably will buy the case from a competitor’s shop.

Arrived 30 mins early to pick up new phone. No problem - they dealt with. The staff outside the store are so professional and friendly. When another staff member came with the phone again professional and friendly. The whole experience took no more than 10 mins. They have it so organised . But my special praise goes to all the stop, just brilliant.

What a selection of Apple IPhones , IPads Mac lap tops, watches and etc... They also conduct Today at Apple Sessions which are free. And this wide selection of sessions are very useful especially for those who are new to iPhones, iPads and Mac. The trainers are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I've had a really bad experience with these guys today. I took my MB for a new battery and was given someone else's by mistake when collecting. I called the store to notify of them of their mistake and was told by the genius bar manager that it was 'an easy mistake to make' and it was intimated that I was at fault for leaving the store with the item before checking thoroughly. Absolutely disgusted.

Amazing service from everyone at apple store today, especially Pierre who explained everything clearly and was super helpful in getting phone repaired. Very smooth system for covid measures, just make sure you book an appointment online in advance of visiting as they are very busy.

Terrible customer service You pay almost a 1k £ on a phone you constantly have issues to the camera stability you come to the store and gets turned way. I need my phone for work purposes, and they can’t help me out. Pathetic. Definitely returning to samsung as soon as contact finishes.

Went to pickup my new iPhone 12 Pro, as an upgrade from my iPhone 8 on launch day. Despite the 15 minute check in window, there was still a 10 minute or so queue to get in, but an employee let me know that this was primarily down to Apple‘s system not programming the check in windows correctly, so no fault of the stores. Super impressed with my new phone, and the service once inside was swift. Quick temperature check, scan my QR code, someone brings over my phone, charger, and case, and I’m out in minutes.

Got an appointment for half an hour later and waited another half an hour after the time of the appointment and had to leave as i needed to be somewhere. 1 hour total without even getting in the store and talking to someone. Total loss of time, big nuisance and awful customer service

Amazing and big Apple showroom with almost all the Apple products. I purchased MacBoom from here during COVID pandemic. Staff was really friendly and service was so quick. Typical Apple showroom so nothing fancy to mention but they maintain distance and hygiene which is good.

Lovely people, but long COVID queues, even on a Thursday morning, and often a long wait. There is also no signage to say where the queue starts, or even that there is a queue, which can be harder to spot than expected in a busy mall, given 2m spacing! This leads to people hanging around the front of the store and front of the queue, trying to catch a staff member's eye, before eventually being told to go to the back! Once you get in it is a nice spacious store with, as I said, lovely staff. But, personally, unless I really had to, I would shop online rather than visit the store at the moment. For those who do need to visit, some better signage in front of the store explaining the queue would certainly help ????.

Really rude sraff, "Just because you work in Apple or you had received some rude costumer doesn't mean that you're on the top of the world. So, step back from the cloud please". I just came to a really simple information, and one of the guy almost ignored me, and answered me as a robot, after look at me from top to bottom, as I maybe look like an alien or something similar. If it's happen just for asking a simple information, I would not imagine what the service could be like, if I'll get inside for some shopping. I don't mind to somewhere else to be honest.

My experience with Apple in Bentall Centre has always been great from years. Always knowledgeable staff, very efficient and Apple is Apple. Today I just wanted to buy a new case for my phone, I have been waited for months since the lockdown and also because I wanted the original one. Jasper and Max Service was amazing this morning, Thank you so much! Also to all those who complain about the queue if you only have a store you will understand especially in this difficult time.

Went here yesterday. I really disappointed with the service. The guy who spoke to us very nice and friendly.but the women who serve us inside the store was horrible and she has no clue what customer service is. Her name is Kate or katie. Then we ask her to go and serve someone else, because we didn't want her around us. Wasn't very supportive when we ask questions about the laptop. We left the store even tho we wanted to buy the laptop. And mentioned her bad behaviour to the other staff.

Just want 2give a massive shoutout 2 @Apple #kingstonuponthames my poor wife’s car broke down & her phone ran out of battery & it was very dark in a unfamiliar area and you were kind enough to turn her away and not let her use a charger to charge her phone for five minutes. Or to let her call for help for her husband or some road assistance. I did inform her she should have bought an iPhone 12 & that it’s her fault! We will be following this up.. as a regular customer we feel let down and will no longer use your products.

I booked a shopping reseservation spot to purchase an ipad. I took the day off work and after enduring the traffic to get into kingston and the carpark, I was told by Hasan/Asan that the Ipad was out of stock. I explained that I booked by phone, surley with the huge resources available, someone should have let me know not to come down. Unfortunately, Hasan/Asan proceeded to tell me I did not fully understand Apple's systems when booking over the phone, the store could not guarantee the Ipad stock. I could have checked the store's stock before I came down, had I known this facility was available. The apathy and lack of empathy was astounding. Hasan/Asan was so laid back that at one point I thought maybe I should check his pulse. Is he still with me? Maybe he is in system hybernation and needed a prod. Round and round we went, no satisfaction for me I'm afraid. He said "what would you like me to do"? I said a goodwill gesture might be in order (a discount, anything I'm not sure.) He said "that's not going to happen", very good, I fell into his trap. I said what can you do? He said "you can buy the next model up in the range". And as if by magic, a spark , Hasan/Asan was upselling and back in the room. Well done, awake at last. I politely declined. Maybe if Apple opened later in the afternoon you might get a more animated response, after all it was very early in the morning, only 11.45am. I love the products but the customer infuriation level was maxed out today. Flat whites all round! ;)

If there was a negative rating, I would have given that. The store is operating under strict restrictions due to Covid and sadly they have gone a bit overboard with all the arrangements. To just visit the store, one needs to book a slot in advance and I believe the slots are 15 mins or so and I was told they are booked for at least a week out...so bye-bye to just going in there to pick up an accessory or just to see how the new phones are. Add to this the rather intimidating manner in which the security is setup outside the store...I haven't seen such heavy security even in a bank - mean looking, heavy-set security guards at the entry to the store. I wonder why couldn't keep things normal... just put a barricade, have an entry and exit point and monitor how many people are inside... just like other stores. Brought and iphone12 mini for my wife on her birthday, she decided to go get a phone case of her choice, we were told we couldn't enter the store - there were just 2 customers inside the store and apparently 3 staff. We were turned away...even after me telling them specifically that we are there to just pick up a phone case. The experience wasn't great, it felt almost like we were not wanted.

Queued today for 20 mins after booking with the lady who isn’t easy to find. Queue strategy is nonsensical and confusing. The 4 security guards at the entrance threshold is ridiculous. I explained that I have a mask exemption. She said ok and booked me in. When I got to the front of the queue the woman asked me to wear a mask. I informed her that I have a medical exemption. She then said ‘well you will have to wear a face visor if you want to come in - we can provide one’. I told her that I’m not prepared to wear something on my face. She refused me entry without it so I left immediately. Along with the £1,500 I was about to spend.

To buy a phone stand at 9.00am on Saturday morning for my elderly mother who was with us. Very poor service, asked 2 times what we wanted to buy. After a few minutes wait we were asked to make an appointment which we did for 45 minutes later. When we came back 45 minutes later we were asked again what we wanted and asked to wait. After a few minutes we were asked again what we wanted. The store was not busy and many staff were standing around by themselves. It seems that no staff wanted to work.

New laptop brought in Feb, Ive hardly had the time to use it. But I noticed it had a dead pixel on the screen. They said they would need to replace the screen, the apple guy said how 'like new condition' the laptop was in and inspected in detail, he said the laptop would be in for 5-7 days and someone would phone when it's ready to collect. I didn't get a phone call but an email. when I went back to collect the laptop a trainee gave me it back never checked for I.D. they placed it on the workbench open, I checked for the dead pixel which now had gone and was fine. Once I got home I noticed on further inspection a circular rim around the logo on the back of the laptop and on the base a tiny chip and a scratch, I presume where they've screwed the base off and this has caused this mark? I twittered their support who said to clean the circular rim which came off but the scratch and tiny chip still remains. I have been trying for three weeks to get another appointment at the same store its impossible, what is the point! Awful, experience apple have gone downhill. This is the first time I've ever had an issue with one of their products, you wouldn't assume you would need to inspect the base when they do a detailed check before taking it from you for repair that they can't even give it back to you in the same condition ????. I wouldn't trust this store again. I contacted Apple support who said I would have a phone call from the Manager and an apple representative, this never happened but instead when the phone rung for this apparently 'booked in phone call appointment' I was put through to an apple call centre to try and book another store appointment. Pointless! ????????????

Sales side is typically Apple with lots of knowledgeable staff ready to help you empty your wallet in the most efficient way possible. The products are good. You always know what you’re getting at an Apple Store.

Made me pay nearly £500 for a screen repair of a Macbook which I have bought just a year ago which was still in warranty, telling me that I have dropped it becuase the corners of the laptop wasn't rounded. Apple used to be reliable with a good customer care, now its just a luxury product with a very high price tag and these Macbooks are very unreliable comparing to other laptops.

Am disabled customer. Arranged for carer to bring in iphone for new battery. Genius couldn’t have been more unhelpful. Basically, claimed I would lose data etc. (Why? It’s just a battery replacement’.) Also refused to exchange cable as previously arranged under AppleCare. Would not talk to me. Only carer. There are no slots for ages. Apple Kingston make customers like me feel we are troublemakers and try and put us off. So depressing. Back to square 1.
