Fantastic service. I had a problem with my keyboard. They diagnosed the faulty keyboard within 24 hours. They found a replacement and fittied it within a few days despite the keyboard being unavailable from the manufacturers. Couldn't ask for better response.

BEWARE Tried to charge me £300 to transfer 14.6GB of files to my new laptop. I was told I couldnt use a external hardrive to do this, because it would crash Windows 10 due to my large amount of files. (LOL) When I refused, he dropped the price to £150. I still said said no, came home, put both my laptops on my home network & shared the files between laptops. I completed the task that same day, myself. £300 my arse.

Told a friend that it would take 2-5 days to fix his laptop for £100 and he had a virus luckily for him I've been fixing computers for over 20 years and I fixed it in less than 10 minutes and no virus found

Hands down, this is the best place in town. Excellent service, very knowledgeable and extremely helpful staff. When I went in, I was expecting bad news about my poor old PC, but in less than 24 hours, they had it fully repaired, new parts installed, fully configured, and they even went as far as cleaning it, so it looked brand new when I picked it up this afternoon. Absolutely the best shop in town

Good place to have your computer repaired. They also sell top class second hand hi do worth a visit.

We were in this shop to fix our tv . The guy charged us £200 to fix the tv and said he will give us one year warranty. After tv was fixed he called us to collect it and said he can only give us 3 months warranty. It worked for a week n stopped working, so had to take it back to fix it . Not one time but 3 times we had to take it back in 2 months. After all that frustration we went back and asked him to refund . He started debating saying your tv was old and all that, he refused to refund. When I asked him what component did you use in my tv he failed to answer my question. So, I am really angry that I lost £200 and my tv didn’t get fixed either. On top of that, while I was holding my 15months old daughter in my arm, my 15 months daughter was touching one of his speaker and he was rude to me saying she is touching my £1000 speaker . Very bad service, he speaks politely trying to show he is professional but he is not good at his job.

I was experiencing some error logs from my laptop hard drive and I went to Computer House for a diagnosis as I suspected the hard drive was on the way out. The diagnosis was that the drive had multiple bad sectors and I took the opportunity to upgrade to an SSD drive after listening to the advice about the SSD speed and performance. I had the drive replaced and also upgraded the OS for a very reasonable price. The laptop is indeed a lot faster due to the SSD drive and I was very impressed with the advice, attention to detail and the price of the repair/upgrade.

In 2014 after they " fixed" my laptop the touch pad was not clicking right anymore, from battery slot some black cloth was popping out and the 500G hard drive was replaced without my consent and the optical drive does not writing any cd/dvd anymore. They provided a very poor report. The laptop was not charging anymore so the hard drive had nothing to do with it's fault. After 3 months sharp the laptop stopped working again with same problem. Asus gave my a report mentioning that some hardware has been replaced with some cheaper ones describing which ones comparing with the originals... Extremely disappointed! Will never use again!

Despite the name "Computers House", the business here seems to have a significant focus on traditional HiFi separates. Whilst it was great to see some lovely Krell equipment and some beautiful turntables and valve amplifiers, that did not help when the purpose of my visit was to simply purchase a specific USB adapter. Inevitably they were unable to supply this. In itself none of that is a big problem but the bizarre advice received regarding alleged USB non-compatibility is of concern and merits the marking down in this review. (In the end I purchased from local Maplin.)
