I visit the bear quite a lot. It is always super busy as the place is very affordable by any people :) wide range of food and also there is always something new to be tried. Portions are really good value for a price and also a big choice of beers.. They do my favourite Shipyard ???? thanks

This very old lovely hotel/public house set in a up & and coming town Maidenhead. Which has lovely food and such a big selection of beers wine and spirits to suits all at really cheap prices.
One you shouldn't miss it's definitely one to try ????

You get a pretty similar experience at a 'Spoons anywhere in the country. There is a reasonable selection of well kept craft beers and the food is quite good and well priced.

Nice clean pub. Friendly staff. But being a former barman myself I can say that the pace of the service is a bit slow sometimes. It's usually busy but it's a good idea to use the app to avoid the queues. The food and drink won't be beaten on price and the quality is good too. The venue is well kept and surprisingly big too.

Very dimly lit lower floor/bar but upstairs is quite nice in the daytime. Would have rated it higher but we went in for a late lunch (around 1pm) and had to wait for over an hour for food which was already cold by the time it got to us. Very disappointed

Nice clean pub with very friendly staff. The atmosphere was great with no loud music or TV to distract you. Great deals on food during the week. Lots of space between tables and you don't feel cramped line other places. Great for catching up with friends and want to talk without having to about over the noise.

Lots of space here. There is an upstairs section too. Toilets up and downstairs. Also some outdoor seating on the street concourse.
I go here regularly for breakfast. Very accommodating.
Great selection of regular and guest ales too.

Lovely old pub in Maidenhead centre. Not very large but has a pleasant layout. Typical Wetherspoon menu but good beers and simple food at great prices ensures it's continued success.

Central location within Maidenhead, with tables outside and first floor available. Great tasty food, fast service. You can book a table, order food and drinks and pay using a mobile phone app, which is cool. Great variety of beers, includin craft beers available. Look for the daily special offer before ordering.

Nice little pub. Delighted with the idea of the app - this let's you order a round of drinks etc online from your table and pay for it as you go. The drinks magically arrive at your table.
The staff were excellent, polite and efficient despite it getting quite busy. Would revisit.

Great when your order at the counter but not so great when you use app. They get confuse if you order a dessert because ours was served before the main meal came, even when i indicated that it should be served after the main meals

Good service but as usual, the breakfast was lukewarm when it arrived and was soon cold due to plates not being heated. Seriously Wetherspoons, is it really too difficult for you to get it tight.... Not exactly rocket science, warm food, is it!

Food cheap. Appealed to kids. Duty manager rude and aggressive in manner to customers and staff. Waiting staff lovely. Misunderstanding over ordered meal. Girl very helpfully changed our meal. Manager could learn something about good customer service from his colleague.
