Bought the new COD Modern Warfare. GAME was selling it for £55 and CeX around the same, so to see a £45 copy was definitely a steal! Staff was kind and friendly. Thanks 24/7 games!

Picked up some high end PS2 games that would have been an £125 sale during a promo that was buy two get one half price, they couldn't get hold of the manager to confirm that they could sell the games incase they where on their eBay store.
He was in America so struggled to get through, went back a couple times with still no luck said I would come back the next day and call before hand, phoned up they confirmed they could sell them to me and I said I would pop down in an hour, drive down, pay for parking walk down to the store to be told he then wanted to increase the price by £19 over the 6 games.
I know it isn't much but when you are already asking eBay prices I am not going to pay more than eBay prices plus that isn't how you do business.
I had spent £427 on a stack of retro there the morning before too, so they knew my money was good. They have now lost a returning customer and retro game collector, it is a shame as they had some nice items.

Quite shocked by the treatment you get there as a foreigner. I lived in London for the past 9 years and never has my foreign ID been questioned anywhere. I go to this place, they tell me to come back in 30 minutes, 30 minutes later after they've tested the phone and it was all good. The manager refuses to accept my ID and tells me they can only accept British IDs. Even a copy of my passport and a bank statement didn't do. Seems like Maidenhead is the Texas of England

To make up prices left right and centre on trade ins is not a great start.
They rip all of their prices directly from the cex website and undercut prices out of greed and spite.
I'm not sure if the owner even knows about Predatory Pricing laws and the legal consequences that accompany such laws.
Don't buy into the whole "Support local businesses" jargon.
