Prepaid for 4 tattoo laser removal sessions, took more than 2 years to complete the sessions and saw virtually no reduction in the tattoo appearance. Would not recommend.

I called Sk:n to organise a consultation for a tattoo removal which I had to pay a refundable £25 to reserve my appointment. On arrival I was asked to complete a ridiculous amount of forms none of which related to tattoo removal and I felt some of the questions to be intrusive and not something I should have to complete just for an initial consultation. The consultation itself was bizarre, I was taken into a room where the practitioner talked at me at high speed it was clear she wanted it over with as soon as possible and was adopting some 90s style sale techniques every sentence ended in "how does that sound?" It all seemed very unprofessional and I had zero confidence in the practitioner. When it came to pricing it was massively above the industry standard I was told this is because they are the preferred skin clinic of the NHS what this has to do with tattoo removed I have no idea and I doubt the validity of this claim. As I was escorted back to the reception there was an attempt to pressure me into booking an appointment to which I advised I needed to think about it as soon as I said that there was a complete attitude change and I was left having to ask for my refund for my deposit which was met with a sneer which made for a uncomfortable transaction and I made a swift exit. I would not recommend or return.

Botox Not Worth it! Having researched where to go, we were torn! Yet, settled on Sk:n, however, in hindsight feel we should have gone somewhere else. On arrival everything was fine, however, on going to pay the price had increased massively from what was quoted on their website. After pointing this out it was reduced to said price and still included top ups! Having been told by the ‘plastic surgeon’ that he has never had to give a top up! I phoned as I was not happy with the movement I was still experiencing (having had Botox before, I had a good frame of reference) I was told that it was ‘outside my top up time’ even though I had been told it would take between 3-6 weeks for the effect to take place. (Which is knew was a little over played, given that in my experience it was usually 10 days before effects were seen!). So not only am I left going somewhere else, it has literally been 8 weeks and the effects have started to wear off. So my recommendation is to go somewhere else that offers the same. Do some more research and find somewhere else, as even if your doubting you want something done, your want to be in good hands & I’m not sure this is the place to offer those good hands. Keep on looking.

What a joke, twice I had to turn up. First time I arrived for my appointment I was told its cancelled! so no up date, bad customer service! waste of time and money spent on parking! So they rearranged. 2nd time I turn up I'm sitting waiting for 15 minutes, it wasn't even busy mid week and the ladies at the front were just talking about there weekend, makeup etc... seriously are you 15 years old or what! lol and then I find out theres no appointment for me booked in. This Reading branch has many bad reviews now I know why.

Awful service would not recommend this place. I turned up for my appointment and was told it had been cancelled with no prior notice. I had paid for for parking which i was told will be refunded when i returned the following week which did not happen. I turned up to my appointment early, my appointment was delyed by 10mins as the stuff throught it would be a good idea to talk about the night before events rather then be professional and see me. I had been waiting for 10mins wasn't acknowledged untill i queried how lomg the wait would be.

Very friendly and professional. I felt very relaxed when I was treated ( I had 7 moles removed in one go, one huge, 4 medium size, one small and one tiny. All of them were protuding, three were removed via exition and 4 have been shaved ) .After the treatment I have not had the courage to look into the mirror and see how I am doing. Perhaps in a few weeks I will post an update and let you know more details, but so far I am happy.

I heard SKN in Reading was awful but I was lured in by an offer of 40% off laser hair removal. The laser they use is so painful I had water running down my eyes! The therapists are rushed by the clinic so bless them they are just always sorry but they can do nothing as this place is a chain and they treat you like a conveyor belt system so next please! I will never go back and they can keep my money it is that bad! I have now been recommended to a small private clinic which I hear great things about so I will make sure next time I research a little more and don't get tempted by 40% offers which seems like they always have anyway to tempt you to go for it! STAY AWAY!!!!!

All of the staff are so welcoming and accommodating. They always make me feel at ease and I am so happy with the results the laser treatment has achieved!

Advised of wrong type of treatment which cost a small fortune. Got better help on the NHS from their brilliant dermatology team! Avoid Skin Reading!!

The call centre staff were unhelpful at best. They booked me an appointment when the clinic was shut so a wasted journey. Not the fault of the staff at Reading. There was customer parking though. Every cloud.

Good experiences so far. The staff are professional and friendly. The procedure was fully explained beforehand.

Worse clinic i ever saw , i took a salislyc peel recently and it make my face more worst and it left lot of scars on my face . I wont suggest this clinic at all
