Terrible store and pathetic manager. Unwilling to help and unable to exchange my broken item despite Argos advising over the phone this would not be an issue. Happy for me to be refunded and order online despite the price going up meaning I pay extra £40 to exchange like for like. Won't use them again.

If I could I would have put no star. I was received by a young man and a very rude old litttle lady, embittered, with glasses, came and started barking at me like a dog with no hello, not a look at me! She didn't even look at the tablet and just started to recite her speech. Waste of money, waste of time. Argos, you should learn to your teams how to welcome a customer (not like a piece of s..t), and how to respect a customer. This store is a total disgrace. I can't understand how these people are still having a job with the way they behave !

I have to return something in Argos today and I'm dreading to go there, the staff are so rude and abrupt. Especially one Asian lady called Reahana. 2 months ago I went to return something and she gave me such an attitude for no reason. I wanted to say something back but I didn't. A lot of the young girls who work there have serious attitude problems aswell. Very bad customer service indeed. I'm trying to find another Argos to go to in order to avoid these bunch.

We visited the Slough Argos in Sainsbury and had a terrible experience with the staff in Argos, Ruby and Heidi in particular. We purchased a laundry basket. On collection this was damaged and dirty. We instantly noticed this and said we couldn’t accept the product, we didn’t have the card on us that we paid from. Ruby who was apparently the manager on that day said we shouldn’t have accepted the product, we explained we didn’t but one of the staff marked it as collected despite him seeing the damage and dirt on the product. Ruby then said she would put the money on the gift card. We thought it’s wise if we reorder the laundry basket there and then, when we did it said the value was £0.00. We did ask them to do it but they refused. We showed Ruby who said it was a ghost order. She then said the money would definitely come back in 24 hours, at the most 48 hours. She expected us to leave the store with £0.00 and just her word. I demanded to take the damaged laundry basket and something written as proof as her word was not good enough. She was very rude and seemed so uncertain. We waited not 24 hours but 72 hours no money returned to the gift card. I went in to Argos and spoke to Heidi another manager. I explained to her what had happened and she was very rude no customer service skills, no apology and she defended Ruby. She said the money would take 7 days possibly to be credited on. She said a lot of customers on the Sunday had experienced ghost orders. She then said Ruby had ordered a replacement laundry basket for us to collect, there was no communication of this. I exchanged this as Heidi demanded I come in the same day as she said the complaint will not be dealt with and it will not be resolved. I had to visit Argos twice in order to do this, a waste of time. We showed her the damaged product, no apology, she told us not to slag management off as they are under stress due to Covid. These people call them self managers, there behaviour and customer handling skills are disgraceful. I will be making a formal complaint.

Had a unfortunate chance of meeting Ruby today, who claims to be be assistant mananger but knows nothing about after care plan or how to even speak with customers, my toaster wasnt working properly was told to pick it up today, by the person serving me yesterday, and today its a completely different procedure and conveniently enough not the duty manager Isra or the person who served me was there. Bunch of cowboys at work, rude, unprofessional and disgusting. Stay away...

Went here 2 order a fridge as i had vouchers to use, turns out i could not use them as the store was only for click and colect. They do not say so on line which was a surprise as wanted 2 pay for it with cash and vouchers, which i could not do. They need 2 update there web site and be more clear as we dont all have an ipad

Fantastic team of staff. They went over and aboard what I expected them to do. I was buying a suitcase and needed to see the sizes . They unpacked each one for me so I could see before I paid. They worked really hard to keep queues down and the staff were all very versatile. Well done I'm one happy customer.????⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Argos is an absolute waste of time in this place if you want to drop off a DPD parcel as they don't restock DPD receipts regularly and therefore can't accept parcels for drop off. Rubbish!

the worst store manager and service I have seen so far refused refund for a broken mobile arguing that the box is open and the phone is working properly the loose parts the phone are not problem. avoid this argos branch and never more shopping in these stores avoid avoid

The worst Manager ever!! and the worst costumer service ever!! I saw a customer came back with a missing item from his purchase and the Argos Manager implied that the customer has taken it.. He refused to return the item and was very aggressively argumentative towards the costumers and also said his staff didn’t know what they were doing... basically bulling his staff who were 1000 times more professional than him. He was very unprofessional to be working in any customer service job let alone being a manager. Surprised Argos hire people like him and teach them no respect for the coustomers. I would try to avoid this branch at all cost and go to Bath road branch in Slough.

So disappointed, since moving into Sainsbury's they don't have anything in stock, why even bother opening the shop. Have to go to bath road store everytime.
