Really nice little spot for a coffee, it is only filter coffee, but there are some nice cakes as well. Perfect for a resbit after a long walk.

Welcome stop if walking the south downs and even if not definitely worth a visit. Great selection of drinks, cakes and home made food.

A little oasis on the South Downs Way offering food and drink. The food is first class and very tasty.

Very good. But coffee served in those tiny IKEA mugs so you only get half a regular cup!

After a walk over Newtimber Hill, what could be better than stopping for a cup of tea (and homemade cake) at The Wildflour Cafe, Saddlescombe? It may just be a caravan in the old farm's courtyard, but the ladies fill it with flowers and offer a warm welcome. There is a small unisex toilet close by. Parking opposite Saddlescome Farm is limited. Walk there if you can.

Lovely little spot. We came across this cafe on our walk from Jack and Jill windmills to Devils Dyke. Very tasty welsh raerbit, piled high on doorstop cut toast, amazing salad and homemade coleslaw. Served simply out of a little caravan in an old farm courtyard, surrounded by flowers. Very friendly service and the place was spotlessly clean. Just idyllic!

The Wildflour Cafe is a beautiful and welcoming surprise to anyone walking the South Down Walk. The drinks and snacks allow you to refresh and replenish before heading back on the trail to continue walking. The cafe has a beautiful range of cakes, savoury bites and hot&cold drinks all catered in an outside farm yard that is wind protected and a lovely sun trap. For an additional benefit you are now able to pay by card, dogs are welcome and it has clean lavatory facilities also ????

So good we had to organise our return ride the following day to revisit. Probably the best cafe food I have experienced. Veggie, vegan food at its best - and I'm no vegetarian. Couldn't ask for more!

Love this spot :) but it’s closed until 1st of March so ideally opening hours on Google need to reflect that.

We didn't plan to come here at first since nothing was clearly signed at the main visitor parking lot up on Devil's dyke. But we were glad we did. The cafe is nested in a corner of an old farm building and has plants in pots everywhere. The food was great und freshly made in the caravan and was more vegetarian. Would recommend going here anytime especially after a sunday walk.

This just perfect. Run by the fabulous Di and Paula. Great food, good company and the best seedy flapjacks this side of Istanbul. Walk across the downs and drop down into the farm and this gorgeous oasis of calm. It's on the south downs way so there's no reason not to visit, and mine hosts are always up for a laugh.

Its a caravan of in a yard, yep that's what it is. But the food is great, the eggs taste of eggs and everything tastes just better. Super farm food and cakes to die for. Well worth a visit if you are passing on the South Downs way.

Fab location where cows were fed. We troughed through huge wedges of flavoursome cake and flapjack. Earl grey made to strength and marmite on toast. Cover limited if it rains but the space is well secluded and sheltered from wind. Toilets almost hidden away in the barn clean and functional. Will stop again on a walk as so many choices of route here. Thank you.

very cute courtyard cafe with a caravan as the kitchen. food was great (had poached eggs on toast) but the initial service was poor, a simple acknowledgement of their potential customers is all that is needed, we nearly walked out on being ignored for so long.
