First time visit, been meaning to visit for a while and not disappointed. Helpful, friendly welcome & service. Lovely variety of different foods. And very good price. Had the sausages the same day and went down a treat with the family. Recommended everytime.

Very disappointed in the cakes, everything tastes strongly of baking powder, tried various ones on few occasions because they all look lovely and tempting but even the children don’t like the after taste ☹️

Nice place to visit. We went today on Good Friday and although it was raining all the time we had a lovely time watching the sheep lambing. Luckily no commercialised egg hunting going on. Just a nice working farm. There was sufficient staff around to help the new lambs and their mums on their way. Pure nature. Nice for children to see. Not scary. Children were supported in a nice way to hold the lambs in their arms for a minute or so. Before putting them back at the mother sheep straight away.
There are other farm animals too to look at like cows, pigs and chicken.
Cafe is rather small but there was plenty of choice and at a reasonable price. We had 2 large pots of tea and a few snacks for 5 people for £ 12.50 is reasonable.

Organic local fresh meat & cooked products for lunch. Does takeaway sandwiches & pies. I recommend the hot roast beef & horseradish sandwich which is freshly cooked for each customer (altho bread poor, prepacked) Fresh veg from Kent. Good place to visit for butchers & cafe.

Awful experience I’m sad to say. The preserves on the shelves were very close to BBD, the tea room has 3 tables which 2 seat 4 and the other seats 2, not enough room to swing a cat in. The veg was soft and droopy and the hot counter was bear, we arrived just on 130pm. We were greeted by a young gent, which was very helpful and after we had made our selection we were served by a lady butcher and her attitude left a whole load to be desired, she was rude and didn’t listen to what we asked, there was no interaction with us. We decided to sit in the car and eat our purchases. Wouldn’t recommend.

This is a gem, excellent choice, high quality and mostly better than supermarket prices....definitely better than supermarket if you like quality meat. Butchers are professional and friendly and very knowledgeable....If you are in the vicinity go have a look, great place to stop for a lunch pie.

Very tasty locally produced meat at very reasonable prices. Try Adrian's kebabs and turkish thingies on sticks during barbeque season. Recommended. Would be perfect if only they had some larger chickens!
