I enjoyed my time at SCCD, Paulina was a great teacher. She helped boost my confidence in the classroom and then encouraged me a lot for our work experience. I would definitely recommend SCCD. I loved to come every Thurs for our class and had a good time being taught by Paulina. She helped me with the assignments as well as being helpful in the classroom.

The course was structured in a very cohesive and coherent moduls. . T he staff was very helpful and gave us individual support .During the covid period they kept us updated and reassured us through zoom . Our teacher always gave us feedback which was very helpful. I enrolled on the Teaching assistants course to build my confidence, because I have been out of work for a while I was surprised when I discovered that it was in formative and educational I was impressed by the tutors knowledge of the subject area which afforded me the ability to achieve and complete the course. I proudly collected my certificate today.

Been doing a level 3 diploma with SCCD Training since Nov'2020 ..so far its been going great. Staff are always happy to help and are friendly. Because of covid, everything is online but they have still come through with being supportive, helpful and reassuring. The teacher that leads my course is absolutely great, she has gone out of her way on numerous occasions to ensure all her students are able to do the assignments and any problems we have we are to able to directly communicate with her.

I would give this training place 1.5. I didn't particularly enjoy the course because I felt that there was a breach in my contract and that the coursework amount was bigger than the assignments I had received when I was at uni. I asked for my refund of £859 i was refused and was called disingenuous, playing victim and some other names by the CEO. I never got offended because 1. She doesn't know me and 2. the goal was to get a partial refund or the whole refund. I never thrown insults at her but was very disturbed by her very rude remarks. I personally would not recommend this place.

My teacher training experience has been a challenge yet rewarding journey with SCCD. I was lucky to have great mentors Ms Alexis and Sir Paul who worked with me before the epidemic and throughout COVID 19. Student support officer Khaleda was amazing with her advice, support and guidance during my difficult times whilst studying at SCCD.
Both mentors we supportive and helped me through the difficulties and thought me to be resilient with their valuable advice. The teacher is very professional with a vast amount of experience and knowledge (priceless).
SCCD training has taught me never to give up even during the epidemic. The training helped me develop both a deeper understanding of theory and practical aspect to a higher level.
The teaching style is very student centred; the training is delivered so carefully and enthusiastically and with great expertise, especially the pedagogical and andragogy method.
I have to say the teacher training has been such hard work, joyful and another one of those life elements which “make it all worthwhile”. I’m so happy I join and completed my teacher training with SCCD.
I appreciate your way of teaching and the warm atmosphere you create during face dc ace and online sessions.
I have enjoyed the SCCD training very much, training all the interesting information, but also the international, friendly and inspiring atmosphere.
I am very grateful for your website and all the resources you have a place in the SCCD database which helped me immensely with my research projects and assignments. The presentations are well organised, smooth and well prepared. The mentors always think about small details and all trainees’ needs. I’m very impressed by the organisation, clarity and quality of the training face to face and online over the past year!

Avoid this place! Is the worst choise that I have ever made in my life!.I do not recommend them at all!!
Normally, I do not leave feedback but now I am feeling that something should be said.
Every class looked the same ,going through the folder ,reading out loud our schedule content. There was little teaching or no teaching during our classes!
I decided to withdraw from the course. They refused to give my money back. They ruined my life. ????

My Level 2 in supporting and teaching in schools was very Interesting and inspiring. My course was challenging, but it was worthwhile as I have learnt so much. My lecturer was the greatest she was supportive and very helpful. I would recommend anyone to do training with SCCD training.

As part of my level 2 Certificate in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools work placement, I worked with KS 1 students notably with reception and year 1 children. In addition to this I have worked with students with special educational needs such as speech and language difficulties, which has enabled me as a trainee teaching assistant to develop techniques using phonics and other visual aids to improve learning.

A great firm to gain a teaching related qualification with. If you're doing the Level 3 TA course, ask for Paulina as your lecturer. You wanna have somebody you can be comfortable with for 6 months. Also, make sure you make clear your wishes and any questions you may have. SCCD pay a lot of attention to detail and assisting in securing you placement and employment; make sure you're able to handle it.

I enjoyed my training and my work placement was great, I received excellent feedback from the deputy headteacher. I collaborated with other students in my group and we worked well to support each other. My attendance during the training was 100% and I would strongly recommend SCCD as I had such a good experience.

Awesome! The learning materials and the delivery of the study modules given by the teacher Paulina deserves some credit! She was awesome in covering the areas that I needed to successfully complete the course. In the end, I had a great placement secured by Emily and the Placement team, and got hired by the school where SCCD successfully placed me. I cannot thank the SCCD enough for assisting me on my journey. I am one of their success stories and you can too if you put in the hard work and the hours that is required to complete this course. SCCD has cultivated an incredible atmosphere, and motivated me to succeed in my studies, specially Paulina who inspired me to work harder than ever before. Moreover the work placement at Richard Atkins Primary School was a very good experience for me, because I have learned how to deal with learners with Special Education Need, disability and behavioural problems. The most enjoyable part is that I helped children from every background and get to learn more about the teaching with great experiences.

I came with teaching experience. And was under the impression I wouldn't be learning ground breaking concepts. I was completely taken aback with the learning, nurturing, engaging resources, one to one support, being on hand with queries, productive dialogue feedback I received from my lecturer. My lecturer spent 'personal' time ensuring all misconceptions are laid bare.
Sometimes, we were opportune to get other lecturers point of view. Which made our learning, wider!
In addition, the staffs are such a powerful, experienced and understanding team.
I got my present teaching job after spending 3 weeks at my placement! ???? . My placement officer Emily, was on hand day and night, to support me through my journey without a single complaint.
Worth it!

Overall I found SCCD to be a thoroughly enjoyable experience, with plenty of knowledge. I have learnt many new skills and improved in confidence. I would highly recommend to everyone. All members of staff have been very helpful and all my lectures have been really enjoyable, my tutor Paulina was very pleasant and helpful. I got a placement in a very good school and although my first day was very daunting I am so excited to build experience.

I cannot recommend this institution enough, they are the only few courses out there that actually deliver what they promise. They train you beautifully, they support you through your training process and offer you real placements into schools and institutions to get you ready for the real work environment. I loved my tutor for level 3 TA training ( Paulina ) she is an exceptional person who inspired and gave me the confidence to do more with my potential. I would definetly go back there for more training in the future !

SCCD It is a school for teachers in London. They only take one type of student style, they only help some students, they ask you for money for anything, and they do not look for a suitable placement for what you are going to teach and neither do the agencies they work with when you finish your teaching. , the head teacher, insults, has no patience with the students, they are only interested in your money.

I am glad i was able to find SCCD to do the teachers training course. I was able to organize myself well in order to progress into the course. I also find it a privilege to be offered a placement at Eden school, i enjoy very much working at the school. The students are amazing to work with. I was able to learn that teaching is not all about pressuring students to achieve higher grade but also to tame their character so that when they graduate they are a better person. I am thankful to the placement co-coordinator for all the help and guidance she has given me.

I honestly appreciate the opportunity provided by SCCD placement unit and other wise to provide an initial career push in education sector. In my placement its been an enriching experience with SEN learners and tutors who train these special learners. The interaction with learners and tutors is what I appreciate and will cherish always. The culture in the school provides an example that every child no matter the condition has something to offer because EVERY CHILD MATTERS.

It was not really an enjoyable experience apart from the tutorials of Mrs Paulina, the teacher. SCCD need to improve their customer service and be able to answer to the enquiries of the students. Generally speaking I will never recommend SCCD to anyone I know.
