I haven't been inside the college now that I'm not a student of that college anymore since 2011-2015 and 2016-2017.
From the very first time I've been there, I enjoyed it.
I sometimes think to myself whether there will be a second chance for me, especially for adults to get back into education and pursue the career path something that I wasn't able to succeed.
Including finding alternative routes even though I got the qualifications but is still not enough.
I was hoping if there will be a second chance to change careers by getting back into education and follow what I really want to in the future. The courses like Engineering, Computing, and English & Maths.

I passed level 1 software and level 2 software aswell but I wasn’t progressed to level 3 IT.
Secondly few allegations were said to safeguarding but they didn’t bother hearing my side of the story. I will be suing nadine hopefully for character defaming me

A real teacher makes a world of difference in someone life. I was a student of math, finance and accountancy, in business and information systems with the lecturer Mauricio. I never met anyone with that kind of dedication before to his profession, for what I am sure he gets very little thanks. with such a good mood an admirable work ethic, he was responsible for fixing my self-confidence encouraging me all the way. He is a fantastic lecturer with a high degree of experience and knowledge in various disciplines. I am profoundly grateful to him

As a student of access to electronic with software engineering, I am unquestionably privileged to have had the possibility to be accepted in this course, which leads to so many opportunities. The course leader Mauricio is probably the most accomplished lecturer I have ever had in England and abroad; our respect and admiration for him cannot be expressed in words. He has had a tangible effect on our lives as students of his class, and we will remember him for many years to come.

I recently completed the Psychology Access course at this campus. I am so glad I did and would highly recommend enrolling. Studying the many aspects of human behaviour is rather interesting!
Thank you to all my tutors, especially Mrs Lorna Spence who was very instrumental. Lorna has tremendous passion and dedication, she showed a great deal of interest in her students and was very positive and encouranging throughout. Maybe there is a course of manners that can be run for the staff that work in admission Stratford campus because some of them can be seriously nasty. I was with my daughter for nearly one hour standing in the queue, even though she had taken the picture and already given the ID card weeks before, she still was asked to come again for no one knows what reason, when we asked why, the manager on duty just said to us to wait. We stayed for one hour in the queue when we reached the front desk, we were told "don't worry, you can go home" in other words, we went all the way down there for nothing.

Whilst studying at Newham college Stratford I had studied a psychology course and my teacher was Lorna. She was so helpful and I am very grateful for her help on this course this year. She has really helped me get to the uni I wanted. Thank you so much! I will now be attending a Russell Group university and i have to thank Lorna for her teaching skills and continuous support throughout the year!

My son has only been attending for 2 weeks but so far it's a complete shambles. I get that covid has a lot to do with it but it's not compulsory to wear a face mask so a lot of pupils...AND TEACHERS don't!!! Which I think it's a complete joke. Maybe I will change my review if things get better.

Great Place to study, most of the teachers give valuable support to the students in a friendly environment. Just some facilities need to be addressed, as occasionally there are issues with printers and computers. however, the whole experience was very positive

I graduated from here in 2015 and undertook a BSc in Psychology. I have tried to request my transcript for around 6 months now and without this I am unable to continue my MSc studies elsewhere. I have tried calling numerous times and the staff just put the phone down on me. I have sent numerous emails which just get completely ignored. I feel like I wasted £6,000 a year at this institution. I will be taking my matter further as it is my right to continue my studies. You have been warned!

No doubt, the best place for Electronic and Software Engineering in London, if not in the country. The teacher Mauricio is a consummate lecturer, qualified to the highest level. I can't thank him enough for his passion, motivation and willingness to share with his students his excitement about physics of electronic and computing, and for his endless support during the pandemic period.

I was very excited to start the access course in Computer Science. However, my experience on the course was very disappointing and not what I was expecting. One of the teachers had very basic knowledge of the subject and was very rude to students, and the other teacher was very inexperienced. Moreover, I feel that the marketing of the course name is very misleading.

I am grateful to Mauricio from Access, for sharing his experience, expertise and wisdom in the hardest class I have had to date, yet one of my favourite. He is gifted at explaining things in multiple ways in an inordinately clear fashion to help students grasp the most challenging concepts and theories in physics, maths and computing. Thanks for his hard work and guidance, without his support I wouldn't have been able to get accepted into one of the most prestigious universities in England. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I verily recommend his course, as I think he is the best teacher in this college.
The college, on the other hand, has place for lots of improvements- hygiene mainly. The campus needs a lot of work in my opinion.

Have been going here for two years, started from Btec IT Level 3, and currently doing level 3 extended, most of the teachers are completely lost, the college struggles to keep good teachers, therefore leaving us with clueless people who need to use search engines to answer the questions from students. the Management is a complete mess, the equipment provided is broken 50% of the time, You'd be better off learning at home using Google and youtube.

Newham College is a friendly, quiet and spacious college.
The Staff at Newham are very helpful when it comes to the reception, certain teachers in the media department take no pride in their job; nor care enough to really help the students.
My teacher left the class on a regular basis to use the school gym rather than teach, he also enjoyed chatting with Pre- Access students rather than explaining or disclosing deadlines.
Apart from that department of Media, there isn't a lot of bad things. College is not over crowded and a great college for people coming out of Secondary Schools.

The worst college I have ever been to. Stratford campus is the worst. If you want to study any science related subjects, DO NOT ENROL to this college. I honestly recommend you enroll to Newham Collegiate sixth form. I just read that 95% of the students were given offers to go to university this year 2017. Me and my classmates who did Applied science this year at Newham college only ended up with a PASS grade after two years. The science department is the worst and have no idea how to teach or support their students. Honestly if you don't believe me, enroll here for two weeks and honestly see how it is before you continue

The worst college I have ever been to. Newham College Stratford campus is the worst. If you want to study any science related subjects, do NOT enroll in this college. Me and my classmates who did Applied science from 2015 to 2017 at Newham college only ended up with a PASS grade after two years of study. The science department is the worst and have no idea how to teach or support their students. During our first year at college, we did not have any other subject teachers for 4 months. We were taught 4 subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths) by only one teacher for the first 4 months being enrolled there. This teacher was not even specialised in teaching Chemistry but still was forced to somehow teach us and mark all assignments for each subject. Honestly, if you don't believe me, enrol here for two weeks and honestly see how it is.

8 years ago I was kicked out from THC after level 2 on IT because I couldn't get enough D's and M's (English is my 2nd language that's why I used to find difficult+bad boys around me).
This Newham college gave me opportunity to join to tje college and complete my level 3 A levels in 2 years time and gues what..I did it????✌now I work for an IT company based in centeral London, part time I do software development and graphic design.
All the teachers and staffs are very helpful. Thank you is not enough???? but I don't see any other words right now. Thank you so so much.
After parents I do respect teachers.

After a full year in Newham College (Stratford campus), I would like to say that Access to IT and Product Design is the best course I have been through , the lecturer, Mauricio, has definitely taken the teaching experience to a completely different level. He is by far one of the most proficient lecturers that I have come across; not only he teaches a variety of highly complex units but also he is probably one the very few teachers who have real-life experience. This allows him to filter the relevant aspect of each topic and combine all in a unique way in his lessons to help the students to reach their full potential in life. I am deeply grateful to him; I am sure other students too. He has shown so much patience, kindness and knowledge to help learners. He has done so much for the student community; overall excellent course programme.
