It's expensive, touristy, and locals snub their noses at it, but it's pretty damn good. Polaine bread (a well-known French bakery), a mixture of cheeses, a bit of leeks and onions, maybe a little salt, toasted and served wrapped in paper. So simple but so good.

If someone told you that The Cheese Factory in Camden Market has the best grilled cheese, it’s because they have not tried Kappacasein’s. Here the cheese blend is far more subtle, and contains fresh leeks and onions for added texture. Superb.

£7 is too much for a cheese toastie, yet that is the raison d'etre of this Borough Market outpost. They're good and carefully made - I had to wait an age in the rain for it - but I'd prefer it if they ditched the upmarket real estate, got a food truck or market stall, and charged reasonable prices I can stomach.

Not worth the queue. Not much to the grilled cheese sandwich, the bread that they used previously have been changed to something that is somewhat dry. Not a complement. Raclette Cheese is average, hardens really quickly and it is just a pain in the ass to eat. Potatoes are barely seasoned. Better eats around borough than this hype.
