This honey is beyond delicious. Reminds me of my childhood and my aunt's neighbour beekeeper. The consistency is perfect and I doubt the small jar will last longer than just a couple of weeks. Perfect communication with the shop as well. Less than 24 hours between order and first snack. Thank you Salma.

I bought last week two 12oz jars of honey from Bushwood Bees and already got through half of both of them!
I had been waiting for years to find good, locally produced, raw honey, and what an amazing discovery Bushwood Bees has been.
The soft set honey is my absolute favourite. I'm in no way a honey tasting expert but the flavour is incredible, delicate and floral. (And I'm not even comparing it to the 'standard' honey you can buy in the supermarket, real honey is just something else!).
Highly recommended!

I purchased two nucs of Khalil and his wife.
From the very beginning I have had nothing but help which was so needed from a beginner like me.
The bees are now at my home and both hives are thriving so much so I’ve already had to add a super per hive.
Bees are also so calm.
I have bombarded Khalil with messages and he has always replied to me straight away and given me more than I expected.
Thanks so much for such a great service and for being so helpful. I can’t wait to go on one of you’re courses in the near future.

Salma and Khalil are incredibly experienced, informative and passionate about Bee keeping. They trained our beekeeping group and explained the whole process very clearly. However what is very important, is that they are still available to us, for mentoring and advice 2 years later. So if we are unsure about anything they will quickly respond with advice.

Khalil and Salma are well experienced and very knowledgeable beekeepers. I've known of Khalil from many years ago when I heard that he was the beekeeper that tended to the famous East London Mosque hives on their rooftop. A few years later I found myself being trained by the couple alongside other qualified beekeepers at the Essex Beekeepers Association. I'm proud to say that they are our beekeeping mentors! So all in all, I can't recommend them high enough and have only positive to say about their knowledge base and support.

Khalil and Salma provide excellent support for people new to beekeeping. I got my first hive in 2019 and it was quite daunting to be in charge! But with their advice I have managed to do hive inspections, understand how the hive works and get my bees ready for winter. I know I am still learning, but will be able to contact Khalil and Salma for help whenever I'm not sure. Thank you for your time guys!

After being interested in bee keeping for some time, last summer I attended a course taught in part by Khalil and Salma. Not only are they extremely experienced and knowledgeable bee keepers, they are both really down to earth and were brilliant at explaining things in a simple and accessible way. The course students were mostly people new to bees, but those who already had some experience were still provided information and hands on training at a sufficient level to ensure they got the most out of the sessions. Khalil and Salma did a really great job and still provide support for those that became bee keepers after the course.

I attended the Epping Forest Bee Keepers Assoc beginners course last year for which Khalil and Salma provided a good part of the course tuition. I thought they were great - highly knowledge, good teachers and above all very patient! Following that course, I’ve been part of the group that Khalil and Salma have been mentoring through their first bee keeping experience this last year and whilst I plan to get my first bee colonies this year - it’s been a real education.

Well formulated, practical and theoretical course. Was great to get our hands into a real live beehive every session!
Salma and Khalil are incredibly knowledgable, patient and willing to go over and above with their time to answer questions and encourage new beekeepers.
They set our course members up with a whatsapp group so that we could all stay in touch and ask each others advice.
Their continuing support has helped me to feel confident in my first year as a beekeeper. Thank you!

Khalil and Salma are excellent trainers. I have my own beehive for the last 7 months and without ongoing help and support from Khalil and Salma this would not have been possible. They have setup a WhatsApp group for 2019 course and are always there to provide help and support. They are very knowledgeable and provide excellent advice. I am very fortunate that I got the opportunity to get my training from them.

Salma & Khalil were extremely professional, knowledgable, helpful and kind.
I took a course 2 years ago with the EFBKA and since that day they have selflessly continued to show me support as and when needed. They have a gentle approach to Beekeeping and are extremely sensitive towards the bees which is something that really stands out for me. I can't sing these guys praises enough!

I attended the beekeeping course in 2019 and I was taught by both Khalil and Salma and I gained a lot from their teaching. which gave me confidence to get a hive soon after and start beekering in my garden. I felt they were very knowledgeable and experienced. They encouraged us to ask questions and they explained things clearly gaand effectively. I found them also approachable and helpful.

I did the beginners course last year with Epping bee keepers with Salam and Kahlil who where two of the instructors it’s 50/50 hands on and classroom and we mainly used Selma and khalil’s bees ???? to practice with the calmness and the joy you get when handling bees and studying the way bee society works has to be one of the greatest things I’ve ever done the course is in-depth and pleasurable and I would highly recommend It
But most of all it’s all about the honey ???? when you taste honey fresh from your own hives nothing else can beat it

Khalil and Salma are two excellent trainers!! Their knowledge about beekeeping and especially starting up, are unbelievable. As a beginner in 2017, I was very fortunate to have been trained by them. With beekeeping it’s a ongoing learning process, especially in the early years. Our FB group has peppered them with questions ever since!! Sometimes on a daily basis (in summertime.)They are always really eager to help and that, to me, is very reassuring. My beekeeping experience would have been very different without them!! Their passion for beekeeping and efforts to contribute to the challenges facing the species are infectious.
