Went in there to get the Lateral Flow Device as it was listed on the NHS website as being one of the few with the tests available. When I arrived I was told that they don’t hold the Lateral Flow Device as they don’t hold it. They have yet to notify NHS of this.

I attended a one-day academic event here at Toynbee Hall. The building was newly refurbished and was perfect for history-related topics. Food and snacks were quite good, way above conference average. The staff here were nice and helpful.
During the break, the staff gave a brief review of the historical development of Toynbee Hall and the charity works the organisation has been committed to since its establishment. It was a happy surprise to see many Oxbridge connections here.

I have used Toynbee Hall for many years. When it was in Commercial Street, it was difficult to get in, short working hours and you needed to wait outside in the cold, rain etc. But I received great help and great service. Ever since it moved to Old Castle Street the queuing / waiting has improved, but the service is useless. I have been 3 times and every time they can never find you in the system (the card system seemed to work better), they ask you one million questions, the person you talk to needs to talk to someone else (and explain everything again) and finally they print something from Google. I am giving them 3 stars on the basis of the past, if it was only for the latest experience they would get only 1 star.

It's full of interesting projects: money mentors, finance lab, young entrepreneur schemes and a fabulous arts space in the reception area where one artist had her work on display. There was such amazing variation in her exhibits, textile, pastels, life drawings, techno sketches. Very thought provoking. Bizarrely she doesn't think her stuff is any good which is precisely why Toynbee Hall I s such a good resource. It's a place where people get to affirm each other's skills and share interesting stories, coping strategies and make new friends.

We used Toynbee Hall as the venue for our wedding and reception back in February.
They were really excellent. It's in a fantastic location, with two great big halls, has a sort of Oxbridge feel to it. Also an amazing price considering it's in Zone 1.
The staff were really helpful, very accommodating (lots of help when we were carrying things in the day before!)
One other thing is that they're a charity, and it's nice to know the money you're paying is going towards what they do.

Citizen advice sent me to this place, about employment law question and I wasted 2 hours of my time to being told that they can book an appointment with the lawyer a month ahead when my problems are right now. This place is pure waste of time.

Today,I attended to their office to meet one of their SO CALLED adviser ,after too many irrelevant question they refereed to the google to seeking help!
at the end they said,they are unable to give me an assistant and passed me a list of free legal advice centers around my neighborhood ,in fact none of them was free all are private solicitor which charge me at least 700 pound for this form,I back to them and said this centers not free of charge again they were backing to the google and gov.uk and happily found some free legal advice but when i read through their details it was mention they exclusively for kids,women and LGBT and so on .Notwithstanding of their lack of knowledge ,their attitude towards this matter was astonishingly hard to believe . Actually i can not calibrate the level of their foulness but i prepare myself to raise my concern in public ,for start i sent you an email and deeply searching through the web to find how they get fund and support ,I think i have a vital responsibility to clarify people about this blinking organisation .Wasting time,money and leave in no where ,are just part of the dames i received .Shame on you useless

My experience of this hall was very good. Its not like any other hall, its not really a hall at all, more of a big building, but with lots of halls, so I guess that's why its called Toynbee hall and not Toynbee Big Building, and then I guess its not really a catchy name.
