Staff rude and unhelpful. Very large selection of food, but you best know what you're after when you go - don't expect help/advice. When I asked the difference between 2 types of food I got a blunt and sarcastic response. I literally didn't know how to reply. Also, it says no dogs on a sign as you enter the shop and it quickly became apparent why... when I first went to the shop, I brought my dog, expecting to be able to have a chat with the "knowledgeable and helpful" owners I had read about on the website. Both myself and my dog were seen off by the dogs in the store - they came through so quickly and unexpectedly, barking, that my 7 month old pup nearly dragged me down the concrete steps at the entrance, causing us both harm. I put him safely in the car while I went back to look alone. After spending about 10 minutes in the store perusing all the freezers, I bought a mixed pack of food, completely ignored by the three members of staff, as I had made a 40 minute round trip so didn't want to waste my time. I really wanted to buy a selection of things so I could try my dog on a few types and then order in bulk his preferred food. In truth, I bought quickly, and got out of there. Do yourself a favour, and if you have to purchase from here, do so online. Two stars only because they do offer a large selection at good value for money. Not sure its worth being made to feel the way I currently do though.

Dog treats were advertised as being 750g when in fact they were 75g. When I complained they asked me to send the treats back, the fact it would have put me out of pocket for their error to pay for the post and packaging... Terrible customer service.. Also most prices advertised are less VAT to be careful...

If you are after well priced affordable food, knowledgeable friendly staff and empty dog dishes then this is where you need to visit! My Staffy Cross has allergies so it was a trial and error process to see what he couldn't have. Gina and team were always spot on with their advice and with their help I was quickly able to establish that he cannot have beef, chicken or turkey - which is not a problem as they've such a great selection of foods available in store. Initially Bruno was on 6 tablets a day because of his allergies but now he is completely tablet free all thanks to their advice and raw feeding. They don't try to force products onto you like other places, there are no gimmicks and they are passionate about what they do.

First trip today - shop really busy but - even though it was so busy one of the team spent lots of time answering questions and providing great advice for converting our pup to raw. He's polished off the first mix of chicken, tripe and bone, never seen him enjoy a meal so much. Early days but great advice, service and product - highly recommended! Thank you

Very ,very bad customer service.They refused to refund my delivery cost despite failing to deliver my dog's food on the day and time it was promised.I didn't receive my order on the day and time slot that was agreed.I had to drive to the depot to collect it after numerous calls that were constantly disregarded and dismissed.I received the food already defrosted.

This place is amazing, the raw meat is fabulous they have a range of products to choose from and they have afforable bundles. The staff are extremely welcoming and cant do enough to help. The range of treats are also amazing, the quality of price of the products are uneatable.

After asking if they would take back items due to them being sloppy they said yes and asked me to note them and do a order of over £20 plus £3 delivery I could return products so did my order and now being told I can’t return them leaving me with no room for new products in my freezer and out of pocket... Their own brand food is terrible more liquid in them then any brand we have tried...

Pictures on the website are a bit misleading. I expected the chunks to be, well, meat cut into chunks, just like in the picture. I was surprised to see it was minced meat formed into cubes. It doesn't say which parts of the animal are in the mix, I suspect mostly offal, since my dog wouldn't touch it and even my greedy cat didn't want it.
Edit: After speaking to Gina, she changed the description of the product on the website and it's now correct.

Wonderful service, plenty of choice and all excellent quality. Always come away with something new and it always goes down well with my Roxy. Last visit we tried some new dried lamb tracheas and needless to say they didn't last long so will be buying them again. Loving the new shop layout plenty of space with everything easy to find. Would highly recommend to anyone who raw feeds their pets and the owners are always very helpful.

Brilliant find. I've come down from Hull to visit my partner. Huge selection of raw foods. Also treats, treatments, etc. Was impressed. Was greeted by the furry paw rabble brigade, hence the baby gate at the front door. Very friendly and knowledgeable definitely worthy of future visits. Not wheelchair ♿ accessible, but staff on hand to help.
