Really delicious, well made Döner! Probably the best in Leicester. They package the food really well too, so it’s easy for takeaway and ready to eat! Staff is also friendly.

The staff at this place were pretty amazing dealing with some strange characters.
While we were in there to pick up our food an intoxicated person came in demanding food for free they gave a him a few chips and got rid of him fast because he started to beg other customers for money and got right up in their faces during the corona virus ????
So next time definitely getting a delivery ???? ???? ???? ???? ???? instead.
Food as usual was premium chunks of meat no complaints, service was pretty fast as well and customer service excellent.

Nice food, but really poor delivery service. Food arrived an hour later than originally expected and although it was well packaged it had been transported in an uninsulated container. This meant that the packaging was freezing cold to the touch and the food inside was stone cold too. The restaurant said take it up with the delivery service and the delivery service said take it up with the restaurant and neither was willing to fix the issue. No point adding a 50% mark up to get nice food delivered if it’s ruined when you receive it.

NO MEAT ONLY SALAD,SMALL BUN.I BOUGHT LAST TIME EXTRA LARGE AND THEY PUT JUST FEW SLICES ON THE TOP AND REST OF FOOD WAS SALAD.PRICE SHOULD BE LOWER DEFINITELY.THIS IS NOT FIRST TIME WHEN I ORDER KEBAB FROM GERMAN DONER.

I am really disappointed. I remember when they open German doner kebab in Leicester. Was so delicious. Now is big disaster. 4 times in a row.
1st I bought kebab with bread hard like stone. I said ok , happens. I order second time I had only few pieces of chicken and no sauce at all. I said, ok , but 2 times in a row- strange. The next time I ordered they didn't give me sauce in kebab and even separate. So I ordered throw deliveroo 2xkebab (include 3 different sauce). I would get 6 sauces. I didn't gent nothing. 4 time in a row. It's too much. Never again buy. I give 2 starts only for packaging ( nice boxes and good quality of foil). Now I need to find new place with kebabs.

A truly wondrous place within the near city centre, its fresh, clean and top quality. The prices reflect that, but oh my it certainly tastes like premium ingredients being used. The place is nicely laid out and the staff are always smiling. Gladly visit anytime

Had the mix meat but didn’t really get much chicken. The Donna meat was reallllllly nice tho best I’ve had in terms of quality. Not Greasy either
Next comes the fiery fires they are full of flavour
Never had spring rolls with Donna meat in before but they was damm tasty

Overall the place is rlly good... 2 Things that keep it from beeing perfect... First the food most of the time is cold on arrival... second the feta cheese is different almost each time... But today you guys knocked it out of the park.. I ordered jalapeno's and what can i say... What THE F did you do with those are they from last year ? Disgusting ! Could not eat the damn thing... right out of the foil it smelled weird... Cmon guys !!!

I have never been to German Donor Kebab shop, I placed an order for the Veggie Kebab via Uber eats and I have to say it was absolutely delicious and flavoursome, I've never had a kebab like it before. The actual Kebab is a freshly made waffle type and it has so much salad and a particular sauce the made the kebab, wil definitely be ordering again in the future.

Had a lovely time at German Doner Kebab. Staff were very friendly and helpful when ordering, and the fact that they bring you the food is fantastic. I had the Kcal Kebab and it was absolutely delicious and packed with flavour. For something so low calorie, it filled me up for the rest of the day. Prices are more than reasonable for the fantastic food they provide. The atmosphere is very calm, and it's very well decorated. Absolutely recommend!

To be honest, I am from Germany and the Doner Kebab is not very authentic. The bread is very thin and crispy - what I is not common in the original Doner Kebab. The biggest problem are the sauces. The garlic sauce is based on mayonnaise and the chili sauce is based on ketchup. In the original kebab they only use yoghurt or real chili. So if you want a UK version of Doner Kebab, then it's fine.

Just spent about £33 on doner boxes and spring rolls. Opted to go large & decided to have salad in 2 of them too. What a mistake as 3/4 of the boxes was filled with salad! What a rip off, disgusted. Service was very slow too.

Really fast service with very friendly staff, tables and floors very clean, hygienic conditions. The kebabs are mouth watering and the vegetables deliciously fresh. Three choices of sauce as standard. Lovely experience definitely coming back next week!!

We found raw chicken pieces in our food. It was disgusting so we didn't eat the rest of our food. I was very disappointed because I used to order very often from German Doner Kebab but now I won't order again.

Ok so where do i start. The fries tasted of bad oil. the donner meat was only available in chicken and the lamb wasnt there any more! the meat itself was actually good but the bread wrapping it tasted stale!
I had previously been to the woking branch which i would rate 5 star because everything was on point but the leicester branch was actually a massive disappointment.
Giving 2 stars as the mini nacho cheese burger was actually good and the staff at the front were friendly.
Need to get their act together!

The worst GDK branch out of the lot. I’ve been to several different branches and each one has been outstanding. This one however, was not. The staff look like they don’t want to be there, not paying attention to what I wanted to order so was given the wrong food. The meat donner came out semi decent. Half of it was inedible as it was burnt. The other half was actually not bad. The icing on the cake was them having the audacity to charge for sauces. I witnessed plenty of people taking tubs free and I myself was asked to pay. Will definitely not return to this branch and will urge others to try elsewhere.
