Throughout the UK the Quakers provide spaces for beneficial activities and the Friends House is no different. There is a popular but inexpensive cafe with meeting rooms on the same site. There are no religious overtones, prices are great and the service and quality are first rate. Walking in off the Euston Road it's like entering a different world. Highly recommended.

Lovely quiet place but because of covid not much on the menu at the moment although I did have a lovely meal there just before lockdown. Healthy food and good portion size.

Attended a meeting there- clean, organized and has excellent catering. The drinks were frequently replenished and the loo was clean with even hand lotions. Had a long day but was comfortable throughout. The best part is that it is right next to train station so VERY convenient, and has a library and cafe inside it.

The cafe is always packed at lunchtime. You can get a voucher for one free hour of WiFi access at the counter. They sell books, cards, t-shirts and have a meditation room but it's been very noisy every time I visited. The coffee is decent but the food is often limited and often run out of soup by 1.30 which is disappointing. They have a few cakes and a small selection of cold drinks, crisps and good confectionery like high end chocolate bars Daisy & Dam and they have reusable coffee cups on sale, which are from bamboo. It's right opposite Euston station, a short walk to the British library, close to king's cross station.

Our meeting that we held there went well and the place is clean and in order. The technical aspect worked well. The food was nice and I could afford it. I spoke to one of the regular visitor there who told me that he enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the place. He could sit and be at peace for hours without being disturbed. Had a wonderful day.

This was a real find! Lunching with a friend was an absolute pleasure here. There is even a quiet area in the cafe for those who wish to read. We felt so at home and could have stayed all afternoon if schedules had permitted. Lovely - will go again and can recommend.

Went here with my friend and her golden retriever Peanut last weekend. Utterly comfortable , and as cosy as your living room - with better coffee! There staff are very friendly, and the vibe is chill. The food is good and everything is reasonably priced . My 2 suggestions for the owners are: 1. Cheesecake (preferably New York style), and 2. Oat milk! Will be coming back ????

Friends House, Euston is great for a short respite in this busy part of London. A lunch resturant on the lower ground, with a seated coffee, snacks and teas at ground floor level. This is a popular venue for a myriad of groups who hire it for meetings in one of the many rooms. A large conference and seminar hall is well appointed. The Society of Friends/Quakers schedule their wholesome gatherings through the year.

Nice place to share a lunch, have a coffee and a chat. Lots and lots of space and free to roam. Don't be put off by the word Quaker. No one will bother you, so feel free to sit, drink and have a read a good book. There's a very nice sun trap seating area hidden inside the building. The cafe offers nice food at a reasonable price. Really can't fault the venue in any way. Enjoy it.

I come from a long line of Quakers and somehow this place feels a bit like home. The main meeting hall is magnificent, if not a little puritan, as you might expect. Lovely nonetheless.

Visited yesterday with 3 of my friends, we had the best time! Staff were friendly. We got there almost 40 minutes early but they already had our table ready for us and let us sit down. They didn't rush us to leave, we played a F. R. I. E. N. D. S. Themed monopoly game, enjoyed a glass of prosecco and a selection of sandwiches, scones, and cakes/desserts. Also, if you want to purchase any other drinks off their menu it isn't expensive at all. £1.50 for a can of coke... And no service charge added which considering its London is pretty decent. I'd definitely visit again.

Just discovered the lovely courtyard for a business lunch at the cafe. There seemed to be a good range of food options cooked on premises (not just sandwiches) with friendly staff and good pricing. Despite being lunchtime there was space to sit in a variety of areas (main cafe, wide corridors and the large courtyard). Nice toilets and generally just a pleasant clean building.

I went there as part of my course for one one my a levels for college. The facility seems very good but some could say that it might be a bit old, however it is very clean and as an example it's male toilets were the cleanest i saw anywhere.

Not being a Quaker nor religious this review is for aesthetic qualities of the facilities for Joe Public. The cafeteria is alongside a book and gift shop and you can eat inside or out. It is quite a way back from Euston Road so not too noisy or polluted. Good quality and value cakes, pastries, sarnies, coffee etc, excellent fudge and very affable staff. I will certainly go again.

I love using friends house as a venue. The rooms are well equipped and there are varying sizes. The main hall is beautiful! We had so much delicious food delivered that we couldn't eat it all, but the staff were kind enough to provide take away containers for us. A great experience throughout

Excellent cafe opposite Euston Station. Relaxed atmosphere very convenient for train travellers, why sit in the overcrowded places in the station when you can have much nicer pre or post travel refreshments at this little haven? Vegan/vegetarian food always available and the whole way the place operates is "green" and sustainable. You can buy a "Suspended Soup", which means you're paying it forward for someone else who needs one in future (see their website for details of how it operates via a voucher scheme). Friends House is also one to bear in mind for anyone responsible for venue hire, as it hosts all sorts of events.

I had a corporate meeting today. Very pleasing surroundings. Felt like at oasis in a part of London I associate with traffic and high rise buildings. Very easy to get to and is just opposite Euston railway station. I don't know whats costs are as I did not organise the meeting.

A great place to bring a friend for coffee and chat, or work on your laptop. Good coffee, a welcoming atmosphere, and a bookshop with some unusual titles. It's atheist and theist friendly. The conference rooms are also worth considering if you need somewhere to hold a meeting.

Wonderful building and facilities for meetings, conferences. The cafe serves good food and drinks and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere. When the weather is good sit outside or in the small court yard.

Really terrible customer service. We tried to book a room for an event and filled out all of the forms and asked to make the payment to secure the room. As we were a first time customer we were told the there was a process to set us up on the system that they would process and they couldn't take the payment until it was processed. Five days later (we chased multiple times in the interim) they came back and said the room had gone but that it was ok as there was another room. It turned that the alternative they offered was nowhere near as good. When we pointed this out they agreed ' it is not a nice a room but it is ok it takes the same number of people.'! I asked whether there was a feedback process and they told me just to email the person we had been dealing with. I asked if there was formal feedback process and they said that there was after the event had been completed. The staff in the events time do not seem to care much about customer service.

A first class meeting place on the outskirts of Bloomsbury and opposite Euston Station. The imposing facade and entrance gives way to modern, comfortable meeting rooms. Well worth looking at as a venue along with other centres in this area.

We hire their meeting rooms and the main reason for us is Ivan - their Conferencing Assistant - who is the best pair of hands we've had in a conferencing venue in 20 years. Superb I.T. skills and nothing is too much trouble for Ivan. Nick on reception and Magda with the booking are also extremely helpful. Many thanks all.

Forget the corporates. If you want a friendly, genuine and ETHICAL meeting place with colleagues etc - or just a coffee with friends - then Friends House offers a number of options. Plus terrific bookshop and veggie/vegan directed if you're that way inclined. A stone's throw from Euston. Think on it ... dump the big chains and head for this place.

Nice venue and cafe downstairs was very reasonable, right opposite Euston but can still be tricky to find. Was there for a conference and served it's purpose, some strange characters around but all in all ok. Travelling down from Liverpool was a good option as the walk from Euston 10 mins at max.
