I can highly recommend Alison for a newborn baby shoot. We had a lockdown baby and I thought that I had missed out on photos of my 'newborn' sleeping because she was almost 4 months by the time we were able to have the shoot. Alison was so patient with us and waiting for my daughter to sleep so that I could have the pictures I had so wanted and I was not disappointed, just beautiful. Alison is COVID secure and we all wore masks for the photoshoot. Very professional with a personal touch. Thanks so much Alison!

I am so happy I chose AliLulu portraits! I had newborn photos taken. Alison was so calm and gentle with my baby so much so my baby stayed asleep for most of the shoot! Alison is such a lovely and friendly person. Would definitely recommend and will be using in the future!

I cannot recommend Alilulu enough. I had pregnancy photos done when I was about 32 weeks pregnant and they are beautiful. Ali put me completely at ease even though I was nervous about the shoot, and I think it's great that she comes to your home so you're somewhere familiar. She does such good preparation, enabling you to share your ideas with her in advance and giving your her ideas, then on the day she worked really hard to make those ideas into reality. The finished photos were fantastic, and it's great that you get both the colour and the black & white versions - if you're wondering whether to have pregnancy photos done, I'd really recommend it. It's such a special time, yet you forget it all too quickly once the baby comes along! So it's a great way to remember the experience. And go with Ali - she is really friendly and a fantastic photographer. Plus excellent communication before and after the shoot.

Ali was amazing with my very unsettled newborn and even came out for a second shoot to try to get all the photos that we really wanted. She's so patient and really listens to what you want out of the shoot. The final photos are amazing and we'll treasure them forever.

She was unbelievably patient with our son, Jude, and definitely went over and above what could be expected in terms of trying to capture the sort of pictures/poses I liked. Only few days before our baby boy arrived Alison did my pregnancy photo session. We went to view the photos with our little boy and that itself was a very nice experience. We loved all the photos and it was very difficult to choose a number of them. Alison is very talented and a fantastic photographer! I would highly recommend her to anyone that wants to have some special moments captured on camera.

Wonderful to have Alison come to the house for newborn photo shoot - wouldn't have been able to capture our baby at that time without it, as I was too unwell to go out. Alison was calm and understanding through the whole process and the photos were lovely. Would highly recommened!

Literally the best experience, the loveliest lady and the most gorgeous photos. Far more than we were expecting. The pictures of our newborn look like they are out of a magazine! If you book with Alison, you will not be disappointed. I would not go anywhere else for future family pictures.

I have used Alison twice (studio and natural) now and have recommended her services to a number of people as well as buying a gift voucher for a new born family session (my friends have also been extremely happy with her work)
She is patient, calm, respectful and extremely diligent and tenacious in getting the right shots. She does not make you feel rushed and puts you at ease with her calm, easy going, flexible approach.
I will use her again as the end results have been wonderful (in beautifully presented packaging). Definite recommendation Alison is a true professional and her aftercare is every bit as good as her photography.

I cannot recommend Alison from AliLulu Portraits enough. I had her photograph our newborn son and she was so accommodating from start to finish. She telephoned to talk through our requirements and style, she rearranged the shoot date to work around our due date, photos were delivered to us on time and any queries were answered.
One thing I really liked was that the shoot took place in the comfort of our own home & went at our own pace, taking in to account any feeds or nappy changes. I felt really relaxed around Alison and didn't feel that she was in a rush. All in all it was a lovely experience and we have the most gorgeous photos to cherish forever.

We have used Alison to photograph our son when he was born then again 6 months later. I can't recommend her highly enough. The photographs are absolutely beautiful and has captured Harry perfectly. Noting is too much trouble and she makes you feel totally at ease. Both of our sessions were in her studio but I am looking forward to the next one which we are hoping to do outdoors, I'm excited about it already!

We have used Alison as our photographer since 2012, she did our engagement session, our wedding day, my wife's maternity photos, our newborn daughters session with follow up after a few months and finally photos of our complete family with our newborn son at our house at the end of 2017.
I can't describe how much we love Alison's photos, she seems to capture the perfect moments and the detail within her photos is just incredible, we've seen friends photos and they just don't seem to compare. The equipment and materials she uses are of such high quality that they're going to last for a lifetime, the packaging and presentation is just amazing, so much time and effort goes into her work and she's a credit to her profession.
My daughter isn't normally so keen on photographs but with Alison she had so much fun, jumping around on the bed, kissing/cuddling her brother, she really makes everyone feel at ease and is so relaxed when the inevitable happens with newborns (crying or nappy change lol). I'd have no hesitation in recommending Alison and I'm sure we'll keep on using her services for many years to come.

Alison is an amazing photographer. We have used her three times so far over the past 7 years. The first time was for a 'rock the dress' outdoor photo session following our wedding, the second time was for a newborn photo session when our little boy was only 8 days old and more recently we have had a family photo session. The photos are absolutely stunning and I would highly recommend her. She made us all feel at ease and she was able to capture our little boy perfectly even though he is constantly on the move!

My wife found Alison's website and really liked her style of photography. We were over in the UK from Hong Kong for a short stay and wanted our 20 month boy to take some shots with his family, especially his grandma! Alison was very patient with our son, who didn't stop moving (and frowning!). We were lucky that the weather was great at Wollaton Hall and Alison was able to take some great shots despite the tight timeframe given to her. We felt she wanted to take more shots but we had a prior engagement to attend to. Thanks Alison and sorry for being late for both the photo and viewing session! You were able to capture a picture with my mum smiling at the camera! (which happens very rarely as she is quite camera shy!) We would recommend Alison and hope to use her for the whole family in the future.
