Work was done quick with absolute no mess. More than reasonable price and the results are really good. I'm definitely passing them onto anyone I know that needs tints doing.

Darren was a pleasure to do business with. I don't normally write reviews for stuff but I feel compelled to share my experience with everyone. When something sounds to good to be true it usually is so I was very sceptical to say the least. Also with the wait time for installation I was nearly put off and thought about getting someone who could fit me in sooner. To say I was glad I waited is an understatement, Darren started by saying we'll put one piece on the window, if you are not happy and don't want to continue he would remove it and leave without any issues and also without any charge. This alleviated any worries I had about the product and pressure sales. Darrens manner from the first phone call to the goodbye handshake was down to earth, honest, mindful of my issues and very friendly but not overly so. A proper professional at what he does, now I understand why he is in such high demand. The product comes with a twelve year guarantee which these days is quite something. I have put some photos online to show you which I hope will help you see how good this product is. Picture one shows two of my windows looking out, the window on the left with Darren in front of it has no film on yet and the window on the right is finished with a lighter film on the top smaller window and a darker film on bottom bigger window to give us more light. I needn't have worried as today it is an overcast day today and it is so much brighter in our room than it ever was with the net curtains up. Picture two shows our block of flats, our flat is the bottom left so you can see how it compares to the others. Picture three shows our windows closer up from about six feet away, there is a reflection but it is nothing like the mirrored type or any others that I looked into. You can see what is on the windowsill when you get close but that is about it. Darren has told me it will take twenty eight days for the film to completely set and it will get better day by day until then, amazing. Overall an incredible product installed by a genuine guy, will be recommending to all.

We used this firm about 6 years ago to add film to our bathroom window. The window gives a view of the garden and we are not overlooked but wanted to keep the view and also provide privacy from the outside for visitors. It's as good today as when it was applied. We have just had a large, very wide window filmed on our bungalow. The window faces full West so there is a lot of heat and glare during the summer months. Darren applied the film on 1st March and it's already solving the problems we have plus it provides privacy. I can't recommend this company highly enough - superb! Thank you Darren.

I have used Smashgard twice, as I was so impressed with the service that I wanted the windows to be done when we moved house, Darren arrives on time, is very professional, offers an excellent service at very reasonable prices and the film does a great job of stopping people seeing in but we can still see out, its great not having net curtains or blinds to clean! Would certainly recommend this business

This is the second time we have used Darren for film on our windows and once again we're so pleased with the result.
He really took the time to explain the product and what would work best for what we wanted. We decided to go with a darker film for privacy and he even offered to replace it free of charge if after a short while we didn't like it.
Darren and Luke leave absolutely no mess and if they've had to move anything they return to the exact same spot. You honestly wouldn't even know they'd been!
Darren is so genuine with his recommendations and advice, an absolute pleasure to have over to carry out the work.

Our experience with Smashgard was excellent from start to finish. This is a company who cares about their customers. We had window film installed to our conservatory roof, and are delighted with the result. Darren was a complete professional, giving us a full explanation of the process, his attention to detail was superb, and it was a pleasure to have him in our home.

We had a very large lantern glass roof in our kitchen and found that the sun bleached the furniture and units. Rather than opting for blinds we went for a film. We are really pleased with the result. Darren was very knowledgeable and helped us to choose the most appropriate product. He came on time when expected and was thorough, friendly and professional. It was a pleasure to have him carry out the work and I would certainly recommend him.

Phenomenal service from a company that genuinely wants you to be happy with their service and the finished product. Darren gave us detailed information and advice on which window film to get for our bedroom window which he and Luke fitted quickly, leaving no packaging or mess behind at all. When this particular film turned out to not quite be right for what we needed (through no fault of theirs), Darren responded quickly and explained the alternatives or offered to come and remove it and give us a full refund. We chose to swap to a more reflective film which Darren and Luke came and fitted completely free of charge at the earliest opportunity. At every point along the way, Darren was incredibly friendly and helpful and would ensure he'd given you all the information and advice needed about the product and their service. At times, I overheard him coaching Luke not only on how to fit the film in the best possible way but also how to give the highest standard of customer service as this really is at the heart of what they do. All of my emails and queries were answered promptly and we were absolutely blown away by the service we received - cannot thank you or recommend you enough!

UTTERLY FABULOUS!
Darren fitted the privacy film to the living room windows of our home as people passing were always staring in. Not any more:)!!
The effect is subtle yet completely effective during daylight. No silver finish to encourage passersby to preen at their reflection, just the inability to see more that about 18 inches into the room - which just shows ornaments etc. From across the road, they cant even see that far.
Internally, one is unaware there is anything on the glass as our view out remains the same ( but slightly darker).
From initial contact to once the work was completed, Darren did a first class job - clean, tidy, professional and he was a very personable & charming man into the bargain. He said he had slightly overestimated our quote and reduced his price, but i paid what was quoted as I was so happy. Not often you get such total honesty, along with a superb job and a 12 year warranty.
We cant recommend this company or Darren highly enough.
Just wish we had found him before we paid to have expensive blinds in our Orangery as the film would have been better suited to what we wanted.

Darren from Smash Guard Window Films spent an hour talking to us, looking at our windows from inside and outside to help us to decide on what Window Film was the best for our property, as it had backlighting in the main room from conservatory.
Since he installed the film (2018) to all our front windows we have been extremely pleased, and now we don't have to have blinds and net curtain at the windows, Great for a lighter more open living area, and less work with Blinds and NETs.
Darren is a VERY professional worker, did not make any Mess, He brought a set of Indoor footwear so NO need to put down any dust sheets, Cleared up all off cuts and left NO MESS so wife was VERY pleased.
We recently had a sealed unit fail, and after it was replaced he called and fitted a replacement Window Film to exactly match the existing ones.
I would recommend him to anyone wanting this Window Film.

Excellent service from this company. We have had film installed on our conservatory roof. Also, to some of the windows in our home to reduce glare from the sun and dispense with the need for net curtains. In addition, we had some frosted film put on our full length windows and doors as a safety measure. All reasonably priced. We would recommend Darren to anyone thinking of having this work done.
