In a world where good quality, local and small professional companies are becoming quite scarce these days it's finally nice to actually deal with a decent one at last! Superb company who installed a decent security system in one of my houses to a very professional standard. They know their stuff, prompt, tidy and charge exactly what they quote you for. They have even come back to do further works for me - so I'd easily recommend them!

He wore a face mask and gloves, completed the service very efficiently, provided us with a summary of what he had done and, before leaving, he let me know what he had touched so that I could wipe down afterwards. I was a little anxious about having someone come to my home but I needn’t have worried. Well done Aaron and Mercury.

Excellent company to work with. Ashely came to survey my property and was very friendly and helpful, Lisa also provided fantastic support and guidance through the process. Shane the engineer was really helpful and knowledgeable about the system, and walked me through everything nothing was too much trouble for him and was very tidy with his work. I contacted Mercury Fire and Security for a quote to carry out burglar alarm maintenance works required at a commercial unit in Nottingham. Ashley attended the site urgently as I’d requested and was very helpful on the day. A quotation was provided by Lisa who was very responsive via email answering all my questions before arranging two separate site visits as required. Both alarm engineers Nick and Shane were friendly, professional and knowledgeable in what they did. We will certainly be using them again and would recommend this company for any domestic or commercial fire and security work needed.

We had not had our alarm serviced since we moved in and had no real idea what state it was in, we then had a smart meter fitted which put our electrics off for a considerable amount of time which then threw the alarm system off and it stopped working altogether. Desperate to resolve it before our holiday we called Mercury as they were local and they had good reviews. We were so impressed as they came out the very next day arrived exactly on time, checked over the whole system, diagnosed the issues and resolved it promptly. Lewis our technician was extremely professional and friendly we couldn't ask for better service and our alarm is good as new for a very competitive price. We were so impressed we have asked them to quote for further works. We would definitely recommend them 10/10

The office staff were so helpful and arranged for an engineer to come out quickly (before the weekend) as I was concerned the alarm would either not set or go off.
The engineer very quickly located the problem and isolated the fault. He then went and got the part required and returned in the afternoon to fit it. This meant we had a worry free weekend - thank you!!

Had a house alarm fitted in 2003 after a break in. Alarm was fitted in a very professional way. This has been serviced every year since without any problems. Alarm system fulyl tested as required. All engineers are friendly and courteous. Annual service engineers always keep to their appointment times

Using this company was an expensive waste of time
A near three hundred pound bill and a promise of an all in price to resolve the fault which they never found on our fire alarm system
A quote that was never issued even after many phone calls
In our experience the only efficient part of this company is their invoicing system ........
The bill has been paid obviously I was wrong about the invoicing side of your business
You failed to comment on why you never gave the promised all in quote which was the main reason for witholding outstanding balance the reason for the one star review is Google don't allow ZERO

Awful service. Total disgrace. 2 weeks to get a quote and I had to chase. Then when I called to discuss price was told I'd get a call back. I had to chase a week later. Tried to ask for contracts. A week later had to chase. Then sent to wrong email address. I have no confidence in this company

I have been with Mercury for 10 years and would recommend this company. The engineer who calls on us is highly qualified, proffesional and always pleasant.
It seems that the office systems could do with a bit of sorting out though - they recently wasted an hour of our time and tried to charge us for it! They were amicable over the phone though and sorted this out for us.
