Rothley Parish Church (St Mary the Virgin & St John the Baptist)

This church is really interesting the vicar spoke with myself and he showed me the end of the world headstone in the grounds and I have never seen anything like it in my life before. He also showed me the Roman cross at a grave on the grounds to which was also interesting and he invited me to evening mass and to come again but alas a lot of the time I am to busy I hope he understands. Some of the church grounds have been used as gardens for a new build estate really close to the church so the people may have skeletons of the deceased in there back gardens which is wrong really and never should of been allowed There is also a nice pub next to this church where you can have a nice drink with the locals to Go here if you like a bit of different history x

Local Anglican church, evangelical. Friendly congregations. 3 services each Sunday; 9.00, 10.30 + 6.30. Crèche, Sunday school + youth group during 10.30 service. Toddlers, youth groups, house groups and retirement group during week. Disabled access. Toilets in separate building. Small amount of parking outside church, parking at Victoria Mills (Fowke St) on Sundays.

Fantastic church , great community and genuinely kind helpful people, made to feel so welcome, finding Jesus message truly is better with friends :)
