Took my car to D&K due to issue with the (auto) transmission. I spoke to one of the mechanics when dropping the car off who seemed knowledgeable. The fault was fixed and the cost was not unreasonable, which was good. There was no effort to sell other services - I had asked whether the ATF and gearbox oil needed changing due to the car's age but was told no, it was fine!

Very friendly, very polite, most importantly fair. I came there with a gearbox fault, after a not long inspection... One fuse replaced. Cost me 7 pounds only, but not £££. Thank you them for that. I didn't know as left any fair garage.

D & K Autos = Decent and Kind Autos. I recently had a transmission issue on my Audi Q7. My dash board computer flashed Transmission Faulty. I was messed about by a couple of garages and was even quoted £ 9K for the transmission. I was referred to D & K by my local mechanic.
I must say I was very sceptic when i first called them. Especially as they said i will have to park it up at their garage and they will subsequently get back to me. (which they did after 10 days due to Covid)
Covid did slow down my work, but boy was I impressed with their service? Absolutely !!
They are a fabulous team. Their customer service is superb. Their technicians very knowledgeable .
The fix costed me approx £900, part of which was paid directly by my warranty (which they coordinated on my behalf) .
Their service is not cheap. But hey as they say "you pay peanuts, you get monkeys".
If you love your car and want it well looked after. D & K is the place to go.

I've been using this garage for well over a decade (my entire adult life) they have never failed to leave me 100% satisfied with all their work, from routine servicing to advanced diagnostics. Always willing to make time for me (I work night shifts so dropping off my car in the morning is never easy) kept me very well posted throughout the entire time they had my car recently. I would be very reluctant to use another garage, even though I'm the opposite side of the city.

Bit of a mixed review.
Good things 1st... Happy with my gearbox service. Amd prices not bad.
Bad things... Collected car 2 days later i had car in the air only to find they had forgotten to put my whole under tray bk on when i finally got down to them they said there ramps are full could i return later that evening or another day but im a 40 mim drive away ended up taking under tray myself also communications are poor

Absolutely stunning work with an excellent turn around - went in with a transmission malfunction on Monday afternoon, by Tuesday afternoon it was diagnosed and by Wednesday it was ready for collection. Couldn't recommend them more.

Excellent "old-school" service! Had a quirky transmission problem which my usual mechanic couldn't resolve. He recommended these guys and they didn't fail to deliver. Really fantastic, not just because they got it sorted, but how quickly and how well. Really impressed. If I didn't live on the opposite side of leicester they'd be my new regular for sure! :-)

VW Cabriolet Auto 01M was slipping when warm so I decided to do some research, online got my VW Indy to scan the transmission computer and we had a shift solenoid bad and a speed sensor throwing codes. I ordered a bunch of parts from literally around the world and needed someone honest with integrity to install them on the car. Called D & K when I was recommended their competitor and I was told by different garages (without seeing the car, it needs a whole transmission blah, blah) Decided to go with D K Auto because they never balked at my request to fit my parts and if it was a burnt transmission they would let me know.
Got the car back today and i'm super pleased with the work they have completed . Would recommend these to anyone. Top work, keep it up.

Went in for a gearbox problem, they Qouted £800.00 got it fixed at ford for £299.00 as it was gearbox and oil filter change required.
If they asked me when the last oil and filter was done I would of said never and it was on 102,000, they would have found the issue as they are supposed to be the experts.
