Don't go to this college, i'm saying this for your benefit. I've been going here for the past 2 years learning cyber security and networking. This college makes us play with lego and learn nothing. Useless college, please, I beg you that you do not come anywhere near this college.

My beginning was tumultuous, a lot of information clutter. When I started the Esol Entry 3 course I even liked it, but over time, I realized that the content was poorly designed and unconnected. The teacher stopped working and we were 3 weeks out of class. I realized that the students who were before did not know much of what had already been taught. After a lot of mess we finished the course with a very good teacher. But then the course was already over and I learned nothing. I started level 1 at Birminghan South & City College and I see that the quality of teaching is vastly superior and I have lost time and money with Solihull College. Unfortunate.

I received great support from both teachers which were great at explaining things especially Gary Rhodes and Chris Jackman. They also gave alot of useful advice to take on broad. The college is excellent when comes to students learning in which they take very seriously.

I'm currently studying part-time for my level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing qualification. The course and the facilities at the college are great and the tutors are really helpful. The evening classes mean that I can continue working full-time whilst gaining my qualification.

I enrolled on Functional Skills Maths level 2 course in September 2017 and it was the worst decision of my life. The college looks great on the outside but once you step through the main doors it's entire something else.
The staff are very rude as well the security who man the front desk.
I am Dyslexic so my learning needs were ignored when I brought up things in private with my tutor. She hadn't a clue what she was doing and how to be supportive to students with other solutions to ease their worries.
Please do not come here, once you have made that mistake with these lot, it's hard to undo and nothing will get done.

Been here for almost a year and a half now. Struggled to get any help from staff in regards of mental health. Only helpful person was year one personal tutor. Help for those with needs is lacking and often struggled to find anyone to Help. Recently, canteen food gave me food poisoning and I dont plan to buy from college again through fear.
My course, science, is actually okay. The subject is taught well, sometimes confusing but otherwise okay. I like most my teachers and support for the course is there.

Very good tutors I passed my cscs card card test 1'st time ???? & now I'm just taking my road works card ???? but I reckon I will pass it . I failed the 1'st 3 cscs card test @ difrent places of high a level . So Solihull college i give a 5 STAR rating to u !

Solihull college is probably one of the best colleges ive heard of i study public services and the tutors are so respectful and trustworthy. Absolutely love the college although on the down side the food isn't quite perfect if im honest ???? the college is pretty clean, toilets, corridor's, classrooms, canteen etc. I advise students from school who wish to attend Solihull college blossomfield to go.

They messed me about. They kept saying I had homework due in a certain day when they never gave me any and were trying to kick me out by saying stuff that weren't true. Worst college ever I wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I came about 6 month ago, i really like studying english and maths. I wanna do my a levels [Re,sociology and math].the school i go doesn't do that much GCSEs, we only do 5GCSEs[single science,re,english.maths,citizenship], which is all edexcel books.
I was wondering if i could do my A LEVELs and re-take the subjects if i fail in my GCSEs.
I work very hard which is incredible and i try my best to achieve my goals.
I came from another counrty.
please i need help to understand these rules and also try to break these obstacles.

I have been part of this college for two years now. Over the last year I have seen a massive decline in both management and teaching. I myself have been picked on and bullied by certain members of the Level 2 It staff. And have been left when asking for advice from staff that have made me miss deadlines. I have also seen that the college do not provide any good industry standard software to prepare us for work but instead provide us with old outdated software and or obsolete software no longer in use. Teachers also do not make the lessons interesting and teach us stuff that we already know. Along with these main points there is also a massive problem in student behavior and have seen students with special needs get bullied day after day and when I have told staff that do not seem to care anyway I would not recommend this college to anyone after the way I was treated. As a great man once said “absolute bollocks! waste of time” I have to agree to this.

No special needs!!!!
I am profoundly deaf and wore a cochlear implant. I am not happy with Diane Reeds that won't let have me interpreters and notetakers since last January 2015. There has no other coordinater. I moved to Walsall College is much helpful, useful and much better than Solihull College. Walsall College have interepreters, note takers and 1:1 tution.
