Absolutely fantastic day visiting 45 Gin School. Vanessa was lovely and very welcoming and Tom gave a brilliant tour and talk. So full of knowledge and energy. Selecting our own botanicals and distilling our personal gin was a brilliant experience, cant wait to get home and give it a try! Highly recommed!!

Gin school is fantastic. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what they do. Not only is it very interesting but you also make your own bottle of Gin to take home.

What a lovely way to spend a few hours , I bought this as a Christmas gift for my partner and thought that she would want to take another Gin minded mate with her, but she asked me to go with her and I am so glad she did! The 45 Gin School is situated in the beautiful wooded hills of Charnwood Forest on the Northwest Side of Leicestershire close to either Junctions 22 or 23 of the M1 Motorway. We were met and greeted by Harriet who served up tea and biscuits in abundance and checked us all in. We then were taken over to where all the magic is made and our Gin teacher Tom who took us around the still and through the various processes to enable us make our own Gin. we were then shown our mini stills and over 50 aromatics to each make our own bottle of unique Gin. Tom was informative and funny with great passion in his craft and every one left the course with a bottle of Gin made to their own taste and with a smile on their face, but that may have been from the huge doubles of Gin and tonic made up by the lovely Harriet.. great day, great fun and would recommend ..

Amazing experience, Tom was so knowledgeable and it was great fun making your own gin. I could not recommend it highly enough.
