What an absolute pleasure Kieran is, just made it so easy, and I'm very pleased with the 63 plate Mini I bought for our daughter last weekend. No pressure to buy, made both me and my 19 year old daughter feel very at ease and allowed us plenty of time with the car, gave a very sensible part ex-value on the old car. Amazing service! After a few dealers selling cars not up to scratch we stumbled across FG cars and ended up Purchasing our bmw x5 a couple of weeks ago and couldnt be happier. On the test drive we found a fault but the sales man was more than helpful. A couple of injectors later we went back and was given the car to test drive for as long as we felt we needed and safe to say its perfect. The wife is over the moon. Will definitely go there again in the future and highly recommend to anyone looking for a new vehicle. Thanks again!!!

Went to view a car I'd seen on auto trader, I'm 25 years old, had a good look around the car for at least 10/15 minutes, nobody came out to see if they could help. On my way out I passed a man older than me, and someone soon came out to see if they could help him, not sure why this happened as I saw staff in the show room when I walked past, lost a potential customer.

Bought a Volvo V50 and p/x my old Focus, Great staff and very helpful. They hand over the keys so you can have a good look over the car with zero pressure. Decent test drive out to get a good feel of the car. Also free coffee whilst you wait!!

Where to start! I purchased a car. EML light comes on driving home. Bring car back to be fixed, they advise me to bring it another day. Brought it back as requested, EML light is back on within 48 hours.
Took the car back, asked to give the car back, advised I cant. Asked to speak to a manager, was told BY THE MANAGER that he was not a manager and none were working today. The staff in the garage next door later confirmed he was in fact the manager. They eventually agreed to take the car back, after forcing me to pay for a diagnostic (despite it being under warranty). The car was never put in my name, so I'm now struggling to untax it. The car was back on their website for sale within 24 hours (before my finance had even been cancelled).
I'm sure they are great if everything runs smoothly, but incase they don't, I'd highly recommend you do yourself a favour and stay well clear.

Three independent garages told me what was most likely wrong with the engine of car I bought from them and they still argued the toss when I went back to them with the problem. The Mercedes main dealer told me that the repair would cost in excess of £3000. They went round and around on the phone trying to palm me off when I contacted them about it and they even tried to get me to pay for part of the repair. The only reason this isn't a 1 star rating is that they eventually backed down on trying to get the money out of me after repairing the car. I got the feeling that if my wife and son and not been with me when I went to collect the car that may have tried to stop me from leaving the garage. Despite them getting the fault fixed I have had to top up the coolant three times since the repair and we had to call the AA out on the way home from collecting the car due to a misfire in one of the cylinders. I don't rate whomever they have do the work on the cars for them. I know they don't do the work themselves as, in their own words, they " aren't mechanics".
Be wary of these guys. If you don't know cars and it seems like a very good price then there is probably a nasty surprise waiting under the bonnet.

I bought a Mercedes c class from them in February this year and the price was pretty good, there was no service book or 2nd key but as I needed a car (mine was stolen) I was prepared to overlook this also I had traveled a fair distance to view the vehicle. Upon collection all things I had pointed out seemed to have been rectified but unfortunately about a month after the engine management light came on. I took the car to a local garage who advised that the dpf pressure sensor was gone so had this replaced at a cost of £290. I viewed this as just unfortunate but last month the light came on again so this time I took it to a merc specialists and upon closer inspection they have found that the dpf itself has been physically smashed in with a screwdriver or other implement presumably to unblock it. As a result it is going to cost me in excess of £1000 to put right and although I cannot prove it I am pretty sure they knew about this as you can just reset the fault on a diagnostic machine and it will go away for a number of days before coming on again. I will certainly not be buying from them or recommending them to anyone. Lesson learned the hard way.

I have to say a huge thank you to the guys at this garage, my husband was looking for a new vehicle for a while and wanted to come away from his Nisan navara that he had, they made the whole experience so easy and put no pressure on us to buy from them ( nice change from how some car salesmen are ???? )
After a few weeks we had an engine warning light come on - rang them and they had it straight back in no problem ????
I would recommend this garage and we would use them again

Bought a car 3 months ago and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive from the outset. 3 months and 3000 miles later still no problems have occurred and the car runs like brand new. Main dealer service and cars but still priced as cheapest in the country.

One star is being generous - nothing but problems with the car having to take it back to the garage 3 times in a month. One of the problems was the brake sensor light was on, they checked it and 'fixed' it. I have since found out they had simply unplugged it which caused me problems and more cost!
Yes they are friendly to get you in and take your money - cars quality is horrendous and somewhat dangerous. Con men in suits.
I have now had the car a year and spend thousands on it - AVOID AVOID AVOID - the car may look nice on the outside but with the corners they cut its simply not worth it!

8000 miles after buying and I’m devastated. I bought my car back in February, it was MOT’d the day I got it, no advisories. However, a headlight failure light kept appearing due to the previous owner fudging the wiring to put fancy lights in. However the lights themselves worked. After taking the car to my local garage to have the light sensor issue corrected, they confirmed it needed an auto electrician as they couldnt resolve it after re-wiring. They told me if I didn’t have the lighting problem corrected then it would fail an MOT which is odd because it ‘passed’ at the garage FG Cars use on the day I bought it with the same fault! This resulted in a specialist having to order me a brand new ECU and fit it, at a cost of £600! As if that wasn’t bad enough, today I broke down in the vehicle. Driving along at 70mph I lost all power, was juddering, black smoke pouring out the back but luckily I managed to get onto the hard shoulder. However, it’s now at a garage awaiting a diagnosis, and I’m waiting for a hefty bill as the engine turns over but the car has no power. Upon further inspection it looks like the car was purchased on the cheap at a car auction as I found the receipt in the car when looking around. I drive the car well, mainly motorway miles, and have only done 8000 miles since buying it 5 months ago. Very disappointed.
