My First Aid needed updating and after looking everywhere for a course I saw that College of Classical Massage in Brighton was offering one at a great price, the course was excellent and I had a lot of fun while learning. The tutor was great and very informative. 100% recommended!

A great 1 day First Aid course with Patrick. An informal, informative course with opportunity to ask questions and learn from other people’s first aid experiences. Patrick was friendly, knowledgable and reassuring for any inexperienced first aiders. Any hands-on work was carried out within COVID guidelines. A lovely relaxing venue in Albourne to spend the day. Thank you College of Classical Massage, another great course.

I have completed a Deep tissue course and am currently studying structural rebalancing . Both courses have increased my techniques and developed my knowledge. I would recommend this course provider. I attended the deep tissue massage workshop yesterday and really enjoyed the day. I felt it was very thorough. I started working with Michael and Elaine when I attended a one day introduction to massage course. This allowed me to make sure that it was for me before I committed to the full body massage course. I have never looked back and have now also trained in structural rebalancing and Ayurvedic facial massage at the College. I can’t recommend the team enough. The guys have also recently added back into the calendar their practitioner support evenings. This is a fantastic opportunity to get peer support, continuing professional development points and have somewhere to go to discuss your practice.

Really enjoyed the course - met some lovely people also passionate about massage. There is LOTS of learning and lots of study so brace yourself for an intense period of study and practise! I feel I know the body so much better now and have increased confidence about working with it's complexities to heal others.

I enrolled in the College of Classical Massage's ITEC Holistic Massage course after receiving the best massage of my life from a therapist who studied there. The course did not disappoint, from the location to convenient class times, to Michael's excellent knowledge and obvious passion for massage. After completing the course I felt confident and motivated to make the career change and become a part-time massage therapist.
I can not recommend this course highly enough for anyone looking for a fun, informative and friendly introduction to massage therapy... not to mention all the free massages you get during the course!

I studied on the ITEC holistic massage course with Michael and I still use all those techniques he taught me nearly 6 years ago. His knowledge comes through years of experience and he generously shares this with you. I have done many courses since then but Michael is still one of the best massage tutors I've had the pleasure to train with. I can thoroughly recommend training with him. You'll get a great head start to becoming a fantastic, caring therapist.

The Deep Tissue Massage course at the College of Classical Massage is such a very worthwhile day of CPD for either new or experienced massage therapists. It was a very hands-on, practical day working on a wide variety of techniques under the amazing supervision and instruction of Michael Gibbons. The CCM is a very friendly learning environment and the tuition is carefully explained with patience. You really feel like you can benefit from Michael's vast experience. The class setting is clean and bright and is in a superb central location, with parking!

I thoroughly enjoyed this course run by Michael Gibbons. I studied Holistic Massage and have recommended it to everyone I know who is interested in learning and practising more. The course is thorough , organised , professional and fun an absolute joy to be part of and a must if you want to take up massage. Don't make the mistake in studying anywhere else in the city this is the best and most reputable.Michael is amazing in teaching everything he knows he has over 20 years of experience !

To be a successful massage therapist, you need not only a good qualification but also to be taught by experienced teachers. The College of Classical Massage offers both. Having been a therapist myself since 1999, I have seen how training has evolved and there are sadly many very poor quality courses and training providers now. You can really tell the difference when massaged by a good therapist with a high level of experience and training. If you are looking for career as a massage therapist with a professional qualification from a well respected school then I would highly recommend CCM.

The Anatomy and Physiology course is both professionally delivered and the tutor Michael has a very friendly manner, which makes learning fun through interactive and 'student' friendly approaches. This course would be difficult without the hands on approach, balance of theory versus practice, homework and camaraderie. Can recommend highly!

I participated in the introduction to body massage which covered 1 day, it was a fantastic session, everyone was getting into it and we had a great teacher, I am very tempted to take the ITEC level 4 in body massage due to this!

If your considering a College i cannot recommend The College of Classical massage enough, im not the sharpest tool in the shed but with Michael's help & guidance i accomplished my full diploma in massage and have gone on to do many extra courses to top up my knowledge and skills. Last weekend i attended a one day Deep Tissue massage course and have to say it was the best one day course so far as i learnt techniques i will use with every client.

As a forenest it isn't easy to be infrint of an exam in another language. But all the team made it tome so easy. Even at those moments when I was completle out of confidence.
