I recently passed my driving test at the second attempt and was trained by the amazing Roger Fleming. I can’t thank him enough and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to drive. He was always very patient and was good at boosting my confidence if ever I found something challenging and he will make sure that your trained to be a very good driver :)

My driving instructor Tony Singh is the best driving instructor, he has been so patient and every lesson I felt more and more confident. I was so nervous for my test but Tony gave me the best advice and that is to take your time there’s no rush and just relax and you know what that is the best advice even when I thought I had failed my test I kept going just like Tony said and I was so shocked to find out I had passed which was my first attempt. Thank you again can’t wait the hit the road ????.

Somebody please speak to abdeel tell him power isnt a good luck ..i meerlesy suggested booking my test to secure i had 1 having 10 lessons expirance (and extra illegal hours being honest ontop)i then explained i would pay for 10 block lessons..and with the test could always push back if neesed .i only got to say this when he wasnt ruleing the phone convo after simply advising him curtios manners to let 1 finish speaking or even being allowed to speak without ruleing convo he then said he canr book me in :/ terrbile service

This is a very unprofessional company, avoid booking a lesson with 'Adiel Khan' , rude and has a cocky behaviour. Had an attitude with me not wearing gloves, which could have easily been fixed if I went back to my apartment and got some.
This grown man was asking me if I called him a liar, because I only took notice of him saying bring a mask not bring gloves.. this is a dodgy company lol.

I called them a few days ago and was really disappointed with the poor quality service. I already have my driving licence (European one) and I have been in the UK for 3 years without driving. Because it has been a long time since I have driven, I wanted to book a few driving lessons. Adiel Khan assured me that I was not allowed, at all, to drive in the UK without converting my French driving licence for a UK one. He also said that I was not insured to drive any car in the UK and that all driving schools would tell me the same thing.
Surprised by his answer, I called DVLA who told me that it was totally fine for me to drive in the UK with my European licence until I am 70 years old. I also called another driving school and booked driving lessons with no problem.
When I texted Adiel Khan to let him know that what he told me was wrong and that he should make sure he gives correct information to customers, he said " if someone else wants to book a lesson with you on different insurance terms then that is up to them" which is different to what he said before "no one will take you on their insurance"

A massive thank you to my instructor Kev who has been so supportive and helpful the past 5 months. I would definitely recommend Kev to anybody.
Kev is absolutely lovely and most importantly puts you at ease which helps massively with nerves as a new driver.
A 1st time pass for me after only 23 hours with Kev!

Today I passed on my second attempt and was trained by the most wonderful instructor Roger Fleming. It has been a pleasure to be teached by him he makes you feel so relaxed and he will go with a plan of how your feeling but I can guarantee every single lesson you will learn something new or recap the things your not sure on, he always asks what you do when you get in the car. He will make sure he fits you in what best fits your lifestyle so if your a busy working women/man he will work round you he has no problem with it at all. Nothing is to much for him and he will make sure your trained to the best of your ability.

I have tried two different instructors from this school and wasn't satisfied with any of them. Their main concern is earning more money, not teaching you how to drive. I spend nearly 35 hours with them and they didn't even teach any manouvers.
Once, we went to a car park and the instructor didn't teach me how to do a forward bay parking and asked me to do a hundred times without giving me instructions or any reference point.
I ended of changing my driving school and I'm glad they were professional enough to teach me all the manouvers in 4 hours. I still have a couple of hours credit with them and they refuse to give me refund.

Definitely recommend 1st Driving School, Roger was an excellent, experienced instructor and I can’t thank him enough for all of his help and patience! Really helped increase my confidence as well as general driving- before moving to 1st driving school I found driving very nerve racking but this rapidly improved with Roger’s help. Lessons were a genuine joy and that is down to him being a fantastic instructor. Thank you!

Brilliant driving school, my instructor Dan Evans is absolutely fantastic. He gave me the confidence to pass my driving test today and I can't thank him enough. I really enjoyed my lessons with Dan, he is such a nice person and from day one he made me feel comfortable. I am really going to miss my lessons on a Saturday with him. Thank you for everything once again. I will certainly recommend Dan and 1st driving school to anybody wanting to learn to drive.

Of course, I passed with flying colours and this was my second attempt after I learnt a valuable lesson to maintain lane discipline even if traffic not busy (it was an awkward shaped -egg- roundabout so no drifting along a carriageway)

I passed my test first time with 2 minors. Definitely couldn't have done it without Debbie. Absolutely brilliant instructor who is extremely patient and is a great person to have in the car - specially if you're really nervous. You always feel comfortable driving with Debbie, she will never rush you and is great at determining your ability so that she can tailor all of your lessons to suit you best! She will also always work around her students to accommodate for anybody. As well as that, she's great to talk to so there is never an awkward moment. She is also really funny, will definitely miss my lessons with Deb.

For anyone who lives in Derby, I definitely recommend John Cooke as an instructor who was recommended to me from my mum's friend. He's knows his stuff, very patient, relaxed and lovely. I passed on my second time with just two minors (first time, I think I went for it too soon). He was very supportive and believed in my capabilities. First Driving School is good priced and offers great deals compared to most driving schools I had looked at.

I was terrified of driving when I started my lessons, Kev helped to calm my nerves and took each lesson one step at a time.

I passed First time with 1st driving school I had done many driving lessons prior to joining first driving school but I just didn't seem to get anywhere until I had Julie James, I can't thank her enough she got me through the whole experience with just 18 hours, she was lovely and let me choose what to do every lesson so I could work on my weaknesses, she is so friendly and funny and I got on well with her. I'd really recommend Julie James she was excellent.

I had a 5 star experience with Andrew Blain. He was a fantastic instructor and I passed first time and that is down to him and how he taught me to drive. I had been with a few different instructors before Andy from various companies and never felt ready to even take my theory test but in the last 6 months I passed my theory and my driving test both first time. I can't thank you enough for getting me through. Fantastic instructor.

I started learning with 1st Driving School in August and passed first time in November with instructor Roger Fleming.
Roger is an outstanding instructor who has an excellent method of coaching you into a safe, confident driver. Right from day one, we were getting out onto the roads and I was building up real driving experience, and I came away from every lesson feeling like I had learned a lot.
Roger's wealth of driving instruction experience means he always has another way to help you with what you're struggling with. Moreover, he is always keen to teach you more of the nuances of driving that aren't part of the test, and that I simply didn't encounter anywhere else. Due to this, I definitely feel like I have been taught beyond test standard, and feel confident to go out on the road by myself once I have a car.
To finish though, I really enjoyed my time in the car with Roger, and he always comes along with another set of tales to tell you. We always had a good laugh during the lessons, and he always puts you at ease within minutes in the car. As such, I can highly recommend him.

I can't thank/recommend John Cooke from 1st Driving School enough! I have always been a nervous passenger and never even considered driving until a lot of nagging from my other half meant that I should consider 'trying'. From my very first lesson I felt comfortable and safe with John. John was always available for lessons, even at awkward times. I went from a nervous wreck to passing my test, with confidence! All thanks to John!

I initially was with AA driving school and suffered from a bad accident due to my driving instructors negligence. After building up the courage to finally start driving again, I went with mark reveley. He is the perfect driving instructor for anyone but especially those who haven't had a great experience previously. After only around 5 and a half months of driving with mark doing 2 hours a week I was more confident than ever before and I passed my driving test first time. He was a real help, really patient and very reliable. He is also friendly which really helped in making me feel comfortable. I would recommend mark for driving again and I hope in a few weeks to do some motorway driving with him.

The law does not obligate you how many hours you have to take before you go to the driving test, because they know that there are different levels of drivers but this "driving school" and his "instructors" are above the law. What they do? If you want to take only 5 or 6 hours of driving and go to the test because you're not a new driver they tell you No because the instructor recommends you at least 15 hours and it is pure coincidence that with 15 hours he will earn more money and the word recomment or suggesting (I believe that means that anyone can recommend or suggesting you but the last decision is yours right.) If I go to the test and I am not 100% ready I'm going to suspend the test and I'm going to lose money.Then where is the problem? About the words 'recomment or suggesting' I'm sure they use different dictionary which means obliged.

I passed my practical driving test last week. I had not driven a car before and I passed my test the first time in only two months. It would be impossible without my instructor Nadeem Iqbal. He was very good at explaining difficult driving concepts using simply and always gave you confidence in driving. He was also good at spotting and correcting my bad driving habits which would not only help me to pass my test first time, but also made me become a good, safe driver. Passed first try because of Dean. At no point did I feel under too much pressure when I made mistakes and he made it clear how important lane discipline is on roundabouts. I've learnt a lot during my lessons here.

I highly highly recommend Andre Ogiste. This is Rory's mum (I paid for the lessons so should have my say!). First thing to say is - Rory passed 1st time!!! Both theory and practical! Mark Reveley was recommended to me by a good friend who got a first time pass with him, he had been recommended to her by another friend (again first time pass). I can't recommend Mark enough. He is patient, personable and obviously good at getting first time passes!
