I am a nervous driver and as a consequence I have not driven for 8 years!! Today was my first time in the driver's seat for a very long time and so I was anxious to say the least! However, Chris put me at ease instantly with his calm, methodical, encouraging and reassuring manner. He imparted words of advice which I feel are invaluable and I feel confident that the lessons today have put me on the right path to resuming driving independently. I would thoroughly recommend Chris; he has instilled confidence in my ability to drive and to keep myself and others safe. The content of my lessons was superb; he gauged my ability/competency very quickly and the content challenged me - I did not expect to be driving on the motorway today though I did I!! Thank you Chris :-)

Just passed mine test on Tuesday,cannot recommended Christopher more.He is brill,full of calmness,confidence,professional and dealing amazing with mine nerves and anxiety.Great sense of humour and somehow he just build mine confidence and I become good driver.Please do not waste your money with others.I am full time working mum and before I find Chris I just wasted money with someone who didn't encourage me and put my confidence down.I quit and didn't want back behind weeks.was afraid to fail.was shaking crying,full of anxiety. I lost my faith.Chris was my driving miracle.Things happened for reasons.Highly recommended.Happy driving Days!

I took driving lessons so i could stop relying on other people to get me places. so i started to drive with another company and they weren't very good so my friend recommened Chris and i have never looked back.
With Chris i definately felt like he could get me to pass and I did FIRST TIME!!
Great service would highly recommend to anyone who wants to learn to drive.

An amazing experience.
I’ve always dreamed of driving a car since I was a kid, unfortunately growing up with Aspergers has always made this dream a little far fetched. I started taking driving lessons with Chris in august 2020. I’ve never felt more relaxed and eased into something that I was going into blind. I’ve made rapid progress every lesson with Chris because of his teaching style as well as his humor. He’s willing to work at the pace of the learner, a thing which is commonly lost with instructors.
I’m extremely proud to say that today I have passed my driving test with 1 minor fault thanks to Chris. If you’re after a kind, humorous driving instructor who cares about his students, Chris is the person to turn to. If you have a child with a disability or learning difficulty I would definitely recommend!☺️

For years I had presumed that I would never be able to drive for various reasons, but after some sudden and major changes in my personal life, I realised that I needed to be able to drive. When I started learning, my anxiety was high, not helped by my inner-saboteur telling me it was futile as I would never pass anyway.
I am so glad that I found Chris to teach me. From the moment I got behind the wheel he made me feel safe and at ease with what I was doing. If you are feeling anxious about learning, the last thing you need is a teacher that tuts or huffs as this just confirms your own doubts about yourself. Chris is the exact opposite of this and is a fantastic teacher - he remained calm at all times and was supportive even when I messed up quite spectacularly!
I began learning in Chris’ car but after a few months I decided it might be best to switch to learning in my own car which was an automatic. I discussed the pros and cons of this with Chris and he was very supportive and welcoming to the idea so we began lessons in my car instead. I’m glad I did most of my learning in a manual car as I helped me realise how much goes into driving and appreciate the importance of keeping aware of what’s going on around me.
After a few months of lessons with Chris, I took my test in my own car and passed first time with just two minors! I cannot recommend him enough if you are looking for a driving instructor. He was on time to lessons and very communicative if things were running late or had to be changed. After getting past my initial anxiety, I looked forward to every lesson. Not only was he teaching me but we had great conversations about life, the universe and everything - with so many puns thrown in for good measure!
I feel that I am now a competent and able driver and I could not have done this without Chris - thank you!!

Just passed today with only 3 minors! After trying different driving schools and not feel 100% comfortable, I feel Chris made me feel relaxed as possible. It was more like driving with a friend than an instructor.???? The lessons were always chilled and if you made a mistake, he would be calm about it which makes the lessons better. The prices are reasonable and fair considering how much it takes to run a car. I wanted to start driving just because I wanted freedom rather than having to rely on buses but I would definitely recommend Chris to anyone who's thinking of learning to drive.

I put off driving fo a VERY long time. I was full of anxiety and needed an instructor who was clear, very careful and super full of patience! Chris out did ALL my expectations! I knew from the very first lesson that we were going to get on very well. I felt super safe and he was more patient and friendly than I thought was humanly possible!
It took me a long time to build confidence, and Chris was super flexible with scheduling lessons around my needs and around my complicated calendar. I consistently felt supported and encouraged! I would highly recommend his lessons!
I am a medical student... and do LOADS of exams... but driving for me was the most challenging exam I have faced! And if Chris can get me through... he can get you through too! I now feel like a truly competent and able driver!

Chris was amazing as an instructor. I was a very nervous driver due a bad experience with a previous instructor but Chris made me feel at ease and confident in my ability. I passed my test first attempt and I could not have done it without this guy! I am so pleased I chose Chris! He was pleasant, funny, patient and calming. I would recommend him to absolutely everyone! If you don’t choose this guy for his amazing abilities as an instructor, choose him for his puns! They’re great, trust me.

I started to learn to drive later in life, initially in 2015 however, I was also changing job and writing a dissertation, it simply wasn’t the right time for me….my instructor at the time was also a little grumpy and would huff and puff at the slightest mistake which really knocked my confidence so I gave it up as a bad job. Fast forward to the end of 2017 I felt motivated to try again……for the next 14 month I went from one instructor to the next and felt completely exploited in my desperation to pass, taking my money upfront and not turning up on time, cancelling or not providing me with the learning I really needed. In January of 2019 I’d almost given up when I came across the “the ethical driving instructor” on social media. I had absolutely no expectations at this stage, I thought all driving instructors were terrible. How wrong could I have been. Chris replied to my message promptly and I took up lessons on January 12th of this year. I cannot put into words how fantastic Chris is as a human being and a driving instructor. I never had a cancelled lesson, he was never late and he taught me to be the confident and progressive driver id only dreamt of becoming. Chris keeps running records of each lesson so he is able to keep track of learning and pick up on any areas which need to be focused on during your next lesson. I passed first time! In terms of value for money, I’d have paid double (just for his sense of humour and terrible puns!) I would 100% recommend Chris, especially if driving fills you with anxiety as it did me. Thank you so much Chris, words can’t express how grateful I am, I’m actually going to miss my lessons. Thanks again :0)

Before I had my first driving lesson I was a bit apprehensive of the thought of driving and that someone would never be able to teach me but then after having my first lesson with Chris he really gave me the confidence I needed to get out on the road and start driving. He was very patient and calm at all times, he would take you through things time and time again until you felt confident that you got it right, never would he complain about the time you were taking, the lessons always felt like I was in control of what I wanted to learn and Chris would help me reach those small goals all the way up to my test, he was always on time and you would always get your full time slot with him, lessons were always fun and soon enough Chris became a friend as well as an instructor he was always so supportive and encouraging, he will put you out of your comfort zone but give you the encouragement and reassurance you’ll need. Lessons were always priced well and once agreed a price it never changed, I was even given an introductory offer at the time to help me kick start my driving experience. Overall Chris is a highly recommended instructor and I passed my test first time, he was the only instructor I ever had and from going to dreading being behind a wheel I started to look forward to my weekly Tuesday spot :).

This instructor is far the best guy I know. I had my 3rd driving lesson with him feeling really comfortable with him, we got on like a house on fire. Taught me through what I had to do with no issue I wouldn’t definitely highly recommended. Chris is an awesome guy :)

Well, I started my lessons with another instructor who I didn’t believe was helping me improve and learn, I got recommended to Chris who was truly amazing!!
When I first started with Chris I was nervous as didn’t know what to expect after being with the first instructor. I was so pleased Chris got recommended to me as he made me feel at ease and really helped me when I thought I would never get a driving license! I decided that Chris was the man who could get me through this nerve racking experience - after only a couple of lessons, I decided to take part in one of his intense courses, driving for up to 6 hours a day (with a few costa breaks in between!)
Chris made the whole experience amazing and made me feel comfortable driving!
After almost 4 years of passing my test, I’ve not had any accidents/speeding tickets (touch wood!! ????)
If you are thinking of booking with Chris, don’t think about it, just do it!!! You will not be disappointed!!

I chose Chris as I had had bad experiences with 2 previous instructors, who had been recommended. I found Chris on the internet And comparing him to other local instructors felt happy to go ahead after reading his reviews and finding his prices reasonable and fair. After meeting Chris for the first time I was of course nervous but he soon made me feel at ease with his humour. 5 months went past (all my fault as I was always doubting myself) and he passed me first time! Awesome sauce!!!

I had my driving lessons with Christopher almost a year ago. Having a European license that I never used in my country I was really stressed to drive in the uk . Christopher built my confidence with his calmness and his humour and after only 2 lessons I was ready to hit the roads. Now after a year I am driving with confidence. I would definitely recommend him as an instructor.!!!

I hadn't had a driving lesson in over a year and was lacking in confidence because of this. Had a lesson with Chris and he instantly put me at ease and assessed what driving knowledge I had and worked on the parts of driving that I wasn't confident with. I would definitely recommend Chris as he makes you feel at ease and helps you become a confident driver who can tackle any challenge driving may throw at you.

I took lessons with Chris when he was based in Warwick, I was slightly nervous about learning to drive, after having a bad experience with another instructor, chris gave me the confidence and skills to overcome this and pass my practical First Time!
Chris was able to fit lessons around my busy work schedule and his lessons were the best valued in the area when ordering in blocks of 10.
I would highly recommend Chris to any one looking to start lessons!!

Well what can I say about Wheels of Warwick! Chris is a fantastic instructor. Learning to drive with him was the best decision I made when it came to driving. I didn't have a great first experience when it came to driving with a previous instructor who made me feel less confident behind the wheel and dampened my confidence but Chris soon changed that around from the very first lesson I had with him. He is a true inspiration and always has a positive approach, calming nature and hilarious puns/jokes when you're in the driving seat to give you that comfort and reassurance when you are behind the wheel. I don't have anything negative to say about Chris. If you are looking for a top class driving instructor who will go that extra mile to steer you in the right direction Chris is the man. Chris is an excellent instructor!! Would 100% definitely recommend, he is calm and supportive even when you make silly mistakes, takes everything at your own pace but isn’t afraid to push you a bit as well - went from no experience behind the wheel to a confident driver. Chris is the absolute best! After having an awful instructor and consequently failing my first test I took a few lessons with Chris and passed on my second try. Just honestly such a nice guy who knows what he's doing and manages to instruct you while chatting, cracking jokes or singing, whilst also making you feel totally confident and at ease! Can't reccomend him enough!

Chris was a fantastic driving instructor, he didn't just teach you to pass a test but how to actually drive. I was a bit older when I first started to learn so was quite nervous and Chris puts you fully at ease, nothing is ever too much where teaching is involved. 2 hour lessons for me felt like 5 minutes because not only do you learn but you get a free comedy show/ agony uncle with Chris so he's well worth the money. Not only that but he's extremely knowledgeable, I'm glad I paid that tiny bit more than go with a cheaper generic driving school. I've now been passed 3 years and even now if I see chris I still get a wave because he gets so happy to see his ex pupils. As cheesy as it may sound but Chris wasn't just an instructor, he becomes a friend and there is no one you want more to teach you such a valuable skill than him. Worth every penny!!

First and foremost an excellent driving instructor! I started back with Chris after a long break from having lessons and felt completley at ease straight away. He is very calm and any mistakes you make he goes through calmly to help make sure you learn from them.
Almost Yoda like in his tution (apart from the voice!) Chris made his lessons varied and enjoyable. Thanks for all your help Chris!

I contacted Chris after having a bad experience with a previous instructor and he was very kind and replied back as soon as he was available I started my lesson with Chris which if I am honest was like driving around with some one I had know for years we laughed which made it very relaxing and enjoyable I enjoyed every lesson with Chris and they was good value for money I was gutted when I passed my test and stop having lesson with Chris keep up the good work Chris I would highly recommend chris he becomes tour friend aswell as your instructor :)

Couldn't be happier with going to Wheels of Warwick, after passing first time today. Great friendly driving instructor, really puts you at ease. Driving can be quite intimidating but Chris does well to keep you calm and relaxed.

Brilliant driving instructor. Chris has a very calming presence about him and his teaching style reflects this. He never raised his voice once even when I made some pretty silly mistakes. The lessons were enjoyable and it felt like going driving with a friend. This helps massively to relax which makes learning a lot easier. This made the learning experience far easier. Always on time, never late either. The car is a bit bigger than your average driving school car, but I saw this as a good thing as it gives me more options when buying my own. I failed my first test with another instructor and my confidence was very low. Chris built my confidence up a lot and this really showed on my 2nd test which resulted in a pass with only a few minors. I highly recommend anyone wanting to learn to drive with Chris. Lesson prices are not the cheapest, but I believe in life you get what you pay for and the lessons from Chris was money very well spent. What I would say having learnt to drive is don't go for the cheapest lessons you can find. Learning to drive in my view is an investment so go for the best. Chris is certainly up there with the best. I'm now going to do the pass plus with Chris which I know will be enjoyable and good preparation for life on the roads.
