Just had my bike serviced with Jay's Cycles. Excellent customer service and very thorough servicing to my bike with a thorough breakdown of works carried out and costs. Very Covid friendly drop off and pick up too. Highly recommend and will definitely be using in the future

Taking my E bike to Jamie (Jay's cycles) was possibly one of the best decisions I've ever made. My bike was riddled with issues and having taken the bike to other companies no one seemed to know what the issues were. Throughout the entire process Jamie kept me up to date and well informed. I was expecting a hefty invoice as so many hours was put into getting the bike sorted and it was quite the opposite, extremely reasonable and each charge was justified. At the start of the summer I noticed some play in my free hub and while on a ride in partridge green we stopped by a cycle repair shop, they confirmed that it needed changing so we arranged to drop the wheel off with them and it all went down hill from there! We had to constantly chase them to the point we just gave up. I didn’t want to give my custom to a big cycle chain and had started following jays cycles on Facebook, watching his post over the months and he was in walking distance from my house. I contacted him via Facebook and it wasn’t long before a got a friendly reply back, at first I only enquired about changing the freehub but then riding the bike it became clear my bike was in need of a bit more work! So I decided to add a service thinking this would be the cheapest way to get things running smoothly. I was concerned that Being a women I might be rip off and at the very least have to have the rear derailleur changed, as the gears weren’t running right and it looked a little bent. It soon became apparent when talking with jays cycles that my fears were unfounded. The derailleur was straighten and the worn jockey wheels changed the cheapest option. I was impressed with the Communication and the time taken to get my bike running as well as it could. Also, jays suggested options and carried out service including cleaning components and replacing rear cassette, cable, pads, broken spoke nuts etc with no extra labour cost. Only took 3 days to get bike back not weeks of chasing to find nothing done. He was honest about costs of parts and availability of parts. I’m very happy with the level of service Iv received and will be taking my bike back to have a new rear wheel fitted as soon as one comes into stock.
