Northway Clinic in Canning Town is a very nicely managed place. I live in Canary Wharf, so I took Jubilee line (5min) as this clinic is located in front of the station. Clean with friendly, professional stuff and very well equipped (everything looks new). They provided a very good service and my experience with them is very good overall (I had private GP consultation, ultrasound scan and some blood tests). I would definitely recommend.

I have had recurring ear issues going on for months following ear infection. Northway ENT doctor explained situation in great detail of what was going on in my ear. The prescribed treatment plus procedure carried out had improved situation greatly and everything seems to be settling down now. So very positive experience overall. Also affordable fees and very modern clinic and equipment.

It's my local private GP clinic I used a few times. Had blood tests and ultrasound scan done. All staff members were friendly and well organised, clean space with new equipment. Would use this clinic again.

Stay away from this clinic!! I am extremely disappointed and upset for the service I have received this morning. I have booked “Women’s Health Check”, which is advertised on your website, for today at 10am. I have rang the clinic two days ago and discussed the differences between health checks and decided to go for the one of £326. On my arrival, I had to wait 15 mins as the appointment was delayed, but no one has informed me of it, so I just kept waiting while the doctor and receptionist were discussing the treatment I booked and how this cannot be carried out( yes I could hear everything, as they were just few meters away from me, while I was sitting and waiting for my appointment to start). After the doctor said few times “I will explain it to her...” she came towards me and called me in her room. In the room, the doctor started asking me of why I am doing these tests and if I am aware of the price I will pay?! It started to sound very strange. And after my replies, she then told me that this is a mistake advertise and these tests cannot be carried out for this price and I have to pay everything separate, and she started to count one treatment after another one, as blood tests, urine tests etc. The price jumped much higher and I did not agree to pay this, as I came for the women’s health check with the price of £326. She went out to call the receptionist, which came in the room and started to explain that the gynaecologist examination only means the prescription of contraceptive pills and this can be done by my GP?!? I found this behaviour extremely unprofessional and even disrespectful. After me expressing my disappointment, she suggested that she can book me in with a GP for next day, but it will be a male as the clinic does not have female GP to carry examination of my breasts, but I should not worry, because he will firstly ask me questions and if my answers are right he would not need to touch anything????? What kind of service is this? And what is this Women’s Health Check, and what about women who are not comfortable with a male doctor, like me for this instance?? I have not been advised even this on my booking. I literally wasted 1 hour of my time because of your clinics incompetence and I am very sad for such a high unprofessionalism that I have received today. I am actually disgusted by the way I was treated today and I do not wish anyone to be treated this way. I am not sure what solution you will come up but I would like to receive an explanation of all this what happened today and it is completely unacceptable!

If I could give the doctor a 5* within this review I would. I had no issue with the level of care, very professional and rapid results. However, I found the receptionists to be very rude. I am unable to wear a face covering for reasons I should not have to disclose with anyone. There are special exemptions within the government guidelines which state that people should also be aware that not everyone can wear a face covering. However, not one but two members of staff at reception questioned me repeatedly with a sarcastic tone of voice. When you're paying good money to use these services, the least these people could do is educate themselves fully on the very rules they are trying to enforce. For this reason alone, I am considering not returning despite the fantastic level of care. Customer service pays.

NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Not professional clinic at all, advertises on their website with deals they do not even do. Booked a treatment, after 1h of someone trying to convince that I booked wrong treatment plan, just because they could not fulfil of the original booking deal.

I went to the clinic for a Covid antibody test. It is a clean and efficient clinic, I felt at ease at all times and they have taken ever precaution to ensure you are safe. The test was quick and easy, the consultant took me through my results and offered support. I would definitely recommend this clinic.

I went in for my Covid test on a Monday as my flight was on the Thursday. I paid the fee for express courier service. I was told my test results would come back in 48 hours, 72 hours at the max. It went past the 72 hours and caused me to miss my flight. All I was told on the phone was "just wait, you have time". I paid for a private service hoping and trusting that my results would come in time. Because of all the above and the sheer lack of empathy from the staff at the clinic, I will not be using their services again. This has caused me and my wife, who was supposed to be travelling with me, more stress than I could of ever imagine. I paid £318 in total for the 2 covid test and courier fee I had to cancel my ticked bacuse of this. To make matters even worse they haven't even offered me a refund!!!!. Thanks for the refund, however I don't think that's good enough. I have wasted my time in the airport for 12 hours waiting for my result. I had to book another flight which cost me more money. All your staff only said to me to wait which was very frustrating. I have lost out 1500 pound because of you guys, so with all your respect 174 pound is not good enough. I feel very sad and depressed, as this was my honey moon. I would be taking legal action.

THE CLINIC TRIED TO CHARGE ME £150 MORE FOR A CONSULTATION I NEVER BOOKED FOR (OR HAD), THEN SENT THE RESULTS OF MY SMEAR TEST BACK SEVERAL DAYS LATE. In full: I booked to have a smear test as recommended by my own GP. I thought going to Northway Clinc would be a good way of avoiding NHS wait times and would make the process less anxiety-inducing. Unfortunately, my experience was entirely stressful and uncomfortable. Despite telling me the price in advance over email, when I got to the counter to pay after my appointment, they'd added on a mystery "consulting fee" (even though I didn't book for, or need, a consultation - I went in with a letter from my GP explaining exactly what I needed or wanted, so there's no way I would've said "Yes, please offer me a consultation."). I then had to dispute this in a very small waiting room where other patients could hear, which was highly awkward. The doctor I saw was fine but the chaperone (unsure of her name but she had dark hair and glasses) who sat in on my appointment wasn't great at all. Afterwards, while I was still bleeding following the test, she led me out into the corridor (she was holding a sanitary pad to stop said bleeding, but did not pass it on to me) then suddenly - without saying anything - she turned back into the doctor's room and shut the door on me, leaving me in the corridor wondering what on earth was going on. Again, at this point I am still just standing there bleeding. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anybody. I was also told my results would take 2 to 3 days to be emailed through - it took 6. I understand that there can be delays but it's unfortunate the clinic specifically gave a time before booking, as if they'd have said it would take up to 6 days in the first place I'd have gone elsewhere.

I was visiting London and needed urgent doctor's appointment. Northway Clinic offered the same day appointment (only one in all East London!). Got my problem sorted and had required medication prescription same day. Thanks to the doctor and staff!
