Bought a ceiling fan/light (bit of an impulse buy) and on returning home decided it was not the style/colour we wanted. Less than 24hours after purchase I contacted The Lamp Shed to ask if I could return the unopened box for a refund. I was informed it was company policy not to refund, only exchange. This is apparently displayed somewhere on the wall and I was told this policy would have been explained if I had asked! Very poor customer service so I did some searching on the internet and found many suppliers with the same product in stock up to £49 cheaper! No wonder they don't offer refunds!
Morale of the story is do your research first and don't use this shop!
